ALRIGHT LET'S DO THIS NOW SO I CAN POST LIKE FUCK TONIGHT
Also, yes, I've put quite a bit of thought into this - I just haven't been nearly as vocal with it as I was with Neptune. Though if you'd like to know about how much thought I've put into this, you might want to turn your attention to Shay and Victor, both of whom I've talked the ears off of.
And WITHOUT FURTHER ADO-- because we've all had enough ado-- THE CHANGE THING. *heugh*
Character Name: Joline
Character Source: Original
Character History: "I wonder what it'd be like if I could have a do-over somewhere else." These were the words that brought whatever Joline once was over to the Omniverse.
A few moments stick out as prominent memories for her, if she even was a 'her' then in the first place: a fondness for swords and sorcery which she first found at the age of three... adoration for the cushy fluffball called a cat, discovered around four... a great interest in worlds of fantasy, accessed through video games, movies and stories, truly realized around seven... an interest in music, both in playing and listening, which she discovered around ten.
Then came the desire to leave everything behind, which started at twelve.
The real world was a boring place. All learning about things that didn't seem important in the slightest, talking with people she had little in common with, and then there was home, which was a retreat from everything dull. A place where everything was good and happy, and where she could reach the world but the world could not reach her unless she wanted it to.
It was in this world that she saw the loss of her father, whom she felt she never really got to know. It was in this world that nothing ever quite felt satisfying. Nothing ever felt real or truly worth connecting with unless it was too far to truly reach in the first place.
And so Joline wanted to start over someplace else. Somewhere fantastical, a place where the day-to-day struggles really did have a payoff. Where dreams of heroism and exploration could come to fruition, as they could not in an age too late to explore the world and too early to explore beyond.
An age in the Omniverse.
On the night of her birthday, she dreamed of what that would be like as she drifted off to sleep. For a few minutes she just imagined what it might be like-- it a matter of moments after before she fell asleep and woke in the Omniverse.
Physical Description: Standing at about 4'10" and weighing around 90 pounds, Joline's pretty small for a Prime, especially for the up-close-and-personal fighter type. Her long, messy black hair reaches down to her thighs and appears blonde on the inside. Her brightly-coloured deep blue eyes make her virtually impossible to mistake for anybody else.
Normally she wears a dark pinkish-red dress reaching midway down her thighs, along with a short white jacket that meets in a collar at her neck held together by a cyan ribbon. The sleeves of her jacket reach just past her wrists. Additionally, she wears a pair of beige opaque tights and dark purple and white lace-up boots which reach about a third of the way up her calves.

Starting Moves (1200):
Brug Hild (300)
Uses Physical Strength
![[Image: 7SyjUyW.jpg]](http://i.imgur.com/7SyjUyW.jpg)
A simple nordic-style shortsword. It's light and swings easily, though single hits aren't really impressive when it comes to damage, and it retains the clunky nature of most melee weaponry. However, it's virtually impossible to so much as scratch - destroying it would be beyond an incredible feat.
Brug Hild is about 65cm long with its blade and hilt combined. The blade and grip are 4cm wide, and the guard and pommel are about 6cm wide. When it's not in use, it's kept in a steel-reinforced wooden sheath strapped across Joline's back, unless another blade is in its place.
Beskyttende (300)
(for reference, it's pronounced beh-shit-nuh. gotta love norweigan.)
Uses Physical Strength
![[Image: y4VxQnP.jpg]](http://i.imgur.com/y4VxQnP.jpg)
A buckler made of wood and heavily reinforced by steel with a starlike design at its center. It's designed for a smaller wearer, so it's light and easy to use. It can take an incredible beating, even though it appears to be a normal shield for the most part. Attacks which land on the shield will transfer most damage to the shield, though the sheer force of more powerful attacks may be enough to take the user off their balance, leaving them vulnerable to another attack if they can't regain their composure quickly enough.
Beskyttende is 30cm in diameter. When it's not in use, it's strapped to Joline's back unless another shield has taken its place.
Stradi-Various (600)
Uses Ranged, Area Attack, Buff
![[Image: 5SclTCz.jpg]](http://i.imgur.com/5SclTCz.jpg)
A dark wood violin seemingly designed for an advanced player, but not a master. As its name would imply, it's modeled after the style of crafting string instruments followed by the Stradivari family. However, it's not just any violin - thanks to the power of Omnilium, it has the ability to change form into whatever instrument its player desires, and its player can use that instrument like a master would. This does include Joline's own voice, which will make the Stadi-Various vanish into Joline and reappear as whatever instrument she desires next when she wants it to return - however, while it can change her voice, she may imitate other people, though it's clear to them that it's not the actual owner of the voice. Additionally, in order to make the pieces it can play feel more complete, spectral copies of its player acting as accompaniment will appear as necessary. They have no effect other than making the music being played sound nicer, not to mention they're intangible and appear light-bluish and transparent, it's not as though they can be used for anything else, like acting as decoys or barricades. These spectral copies can be deployed to play music on their own, but they have no effect other than simply playing music.
Now for the stuff that's not just roleplay fodder-- Joline can lace enchantments into her music, providing a variety of effects, though she only knows a few currently. Since it's sound at work here, there's not really a strict area of effect - in exchange, the effects of the Stradi-Various can be weakened through blocking out the sound of it, and it has absolutely no effect on creatures incapable of hearing. Here are the two types of effects she knows she can activate through playing.
Battle Tarantella - A fast-paced, whirling piece made to turn the battlefield into a chaotic but beautiful dance. Allies who hear the piece feel more coordinated, ever so slightly faster and as though their every move seamlessly flows into the next. Involves medium-large accompaniment in most situations.
Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSb3tYjxK2g
Symphony of the End - A heart-thumping piece which instills fear into those who hear it. Enemies will take slightly more damage when they're hit, and those who are severely injured may become scared enough to flee. Involves large accompaniment in most situations.
Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjDrI0ftIv0
Spent OM = 3000+2700+1200 = 6900
Total OM = 9155.79-5000/2 = 2077.895+5000 = 7077.895
Remaining OM = 7077.895-6900 = 177.895
