Obligatory mention of The Megas since at least three people on this site including myself are big fans. MY RAGE REPAIRS WHAT ONCE WAS BROKEN. Now that's out of the way ...

I'm having a big chiptunes revival at the moment. My favourite band is I Fight Dragons but I'm GOING DEEPER. Just found this person and it's all great SNES/Mega Drive sounding stuff. Also I must mention Slime Girls and Vacation Wasteland, because it's so chill. They're all good but Spring Break 199X really has some original vibe going on.

I spend most of the rest of my time listening to shit like this on youtube. Nothing beats Ten Steps From Hell - To Glory, or anything else by Ten Steps From Hell. I find Apocalyptica give me a similarly epic instrumental vibe.

Well, all of She is Electronica, but there's a heavy chiptune backing to a lot of his albums.

I just had a look at the bandcamp (I've actually never listened to anything there) and it turns out most of the full albums only have one-song samples there. Ah well.

I believe he's actually working on remastering some of his old ~1997 chiptunes stuff at the moment, though! Which would be pretty cool.
