Deciding My New Character
#1
Essentially what the title says. I have a fairly big list of people I can try.

Teth Hartcross: An OC of mine, a cloak-and-dagger rogue. He's a Chaotic Good anti-hero, willing to do whatever it takes to see justice done. He's somewhat distant from other people, with few exceptions - one of which being his sister, Lilyth, who didn't really accompany him here. Will likely accompany New Babylon. Votes: 2.

James Locke: Another OC of mine, a destined hero who wields two katanas. Neutral Good hero who protected his world from literal nightmares. He tries to be distant from people as well, but he isn't too good at it - he does end up attached to people quite easily. Normally, he's accompanied by Surayel, who served as his mentor, but as of right now he's not here. Votes: 4.

Anakin Skywalker: The Darths and Droids version. I'm still in the midst of re-reading Darths and Droids, so I can't specify his personality yet, but I'm fairly certain I'd be good for it. We also have no PC Jedi, just Sith, so this is gonna be good. Votes: 2.

Ardon: The Lord of Owlbears from the webcomic, Will Save World For Gold. Detached from the others emotionally, he has no qualms about killing anyone and everyone if it means progressing - and that dangerous behavior will carry over to the Omniverse. Oh, and so will a nightmare spirit that lives inside his brain, and will eventually be a way of accessing new Moves and Powers(that will, of course, be bought with Omnilium beforehand). ^^ Votes: 1.

And, of course, more will probably spring up before I can make a choice.

James Locke looks really interesting. I'd like to see where you with him
You can't stop crime. That's what you never understood. I'm controlling it. You wanna rule them by fear, but what do you do with the ones who aren't afraid? I'm doing what you won't, I'm taking them out.

That's one vote for James Locke. Anyone else want to vote on it?

...Well, that's a vote for both Teth and James.

No idea why I didn't make this a poll.

I think Ardon sounds cool. King of the Owlbears is a pretty great title to have.
#7
I like Teth, he sounds cool, but so does James XD

Looks like that's one vote for Teth, one vote for James, and one vote for Ardon.

In a fit of supreme unhelpfulness I vote Anakin for purely selfish reasons.

Harry is a massive Star Wars fan and we need more lightsabers in the Omniverse.

One vote for Anakin. NEED MOAR VOTES!

James Locke.
Curious about me and the characters I play? See the 'Staff' page! See also the rosters for my characters Samus Aran or Enel if you'd like to see examples of well-formatted rosters. Hope you enjoy the Omniverse!

Oh, look, another vote for James Locke. They're more likely than not gonna win.

Huh. That's a surprise. A vote for Anakin!

I'll add that right away.

Having a character who is a person playing a character from a D&D game seems pretty trolly and fourth-wall breaking, to be honest. I'm forever against funny-for-one-week characters.

Actually, it wouldn't DIRECTLY be Annie playing Anakin. It would likely be Anakin only.

Anakin, though I do personally think that the Anakin from the regular continuity would be a much more compelling character to write with than the one you're thinking of; especially if you take him from the point in canon where he's just starting to levitate towards the Dark Side, though that's just my opinion.

Remove the stain of George Lucas's terrible dialogue-writing and Hayden Christensens godawful acting from the character, and you've got a pretty solid archetype to build upon.

Just IMO, I prefer the Darths and Droids continuity Anakin.

Voting is officially CLOSED, and the winner is...

James Locke.

I'm now going to work on his app.
