Official Move Approval IV
#41
Tom: Gonna wait on Alex to make sure everything is kosher with your moves. Just noting here so that you know you're not forgotten.

Connor: What's the fire and reload rate on this? What's the range? Also being that damage scales with stats, it'd be better to change 'punch through someone' into a vague descriptor like 'heavily damaging', 'moderately damaging', etc.

Eon: Just as an aside, what you're describing with your Scouter move is the Insight power.

Warren: with the price change noted, you're approved.

Joker: Regular kitchen knife? Approved.

Oh cool! So could I purchase the insight power but call it an item?
PvP: Green
You can attack me, doesn't mean I won't High Tail It! HA!
#43
Yeah, that'd be fine. You can roleplay it however you'd like.

So can I purchase the move now, so Warren has his sword?

Fire rate: 3 seconds to empty the entire gun
Reload: 5 seconds for all three shells
Range: 7 yards then damages starts to lessen
While the bullets won't actually punch through someone, it will heavilly persuaded them to not attack Connor. So heavily damaging.

As long as you've got the OM for it, you can purchase it whenever you want. Just make sure to update your Roster and Purchase Log.

Minato Namikaze Wrote: 3 seconds is still too low if you plan on launching enemies into the air with you. You still need to decide on a height, not just say 'Lower than he can jump'

Would this work:
Charge time decreased back to 2 seconds, but for the next 30 seconds after cast, Somerled's general magic use (basically his movements) is tripled, and the magic used from his other moves is doubled (which includes SP use).
And as for height: 9/10ths of Somerled's jump, up to a maximum of 35 meters, for those immediately next to him, with the usual diminishing height based on distance from him.

Super-Shorty: 300
Requires Ranged Prof.
The Super-Shorty is based on a Mossberg 500 12-gauge shotgun that came from the factory with a pistol grip. The gun holds two 2-3/4" or 3” shells in the magazine, plus one in the chamber. The 16.5" overall length, 6.5" barrel and spring-locked foregrip, which pivots out of the way when not in use, make for a very compact package. As far as we know, this is the shortest 12-gauge pump shotgun available.

Connor uses this with a Lupercal Enterprises version of OATH Ammunition’s brass encased 12 gauge hollow point slug. These specialty rounds are code named as Devastator Rounds. He has a thigh holster for it as well

Caliber: 12-gauge
Action: Pump, 2+1
Length: 16.5"
Weight: 4.5 lbs
Barrel: 6.5"
Fire rate: 3 seconds to empty the entire gun
Reload: 5 seconds for all three shells

Devastator Rounds

[Image: OATH_12ga_expanding_D6A1893web-660x660-300x300.jpg]

1.25oz 1600fps all-copper slug designed to expand to an incredible  2.5″ and while the bullets won't actually punch through someone, it will heavily persuade them to not attack. In effect this slug causes heavy damage. Upon impact, this all-brass (except for the 40 grain copper expander die) projectile breaks up into half-dozen 158 grain sharp triangular pieces, each spreading about 15 degrees to the side of the initial direction.

@Eon; I just need to point out that Insight does not let you know how much OM a person has. That is a purely OOC number for us to keep track of things with. That's why I didn't approve the Scouter.

The other version was fine, just make the charge time 5 seconds and the maximum height you can throw people 20 meters.

Al' Gul's Saber- Tier 1 offensive super move-600 OM
(Requires: Ranged pro, area attack pro, )

Red hood concentrates for 5 seconds to summon the blade of Ra's Al' Gul. The sword is a two foot long katana with a obsidian bone hilt. The blade has a lime green hue that encompasses it. Red swings the sword causing a lime green line of energy to surge forward in a 5 foot radius which can strike up to 3 opponents. One this energy surge has struck the sword disappears immediately.

Tier one Transformation: Borrow the Future

The Sage concentrates for a short time, focusing his energy, There is a flash of power, but instead of getting larger or bulkier, the Sage becomes older, shrinking slightly in size and gaining a large beard. This older version of the Sage is capable of fighting with a strength and speed that the current-aged Sage does not possess, since he has had a lifetime of additional training and combat experience.

Alright, 20 meter max height for dragging people skyward.
I'd much rather have a self-debuff though, so would the one I suggested work or would I need to go longer/harsher on it?

Red: Approved. Just be aware that, like with regular moves, if you're hitting a bunch of people, it will do a fraction of the damage to each than if you hit a single person with the whole thing.

@ mark, could I choose to only hit one or several? If I can would thus raise the price to 900?

#56
Yeah, you can choose to aim it at one person or at a bunch. You're not changing the effect when you hit more than one person (like throwing a grenade at one person versus a group) so you wouldn't need to pay anything extra. I was just letting you know that damage you did to a group would be more or less divided equally among the group.

Stroke - 300OM (Ranged Proficiency)

A wave of crippling energy emits from Murasame like a black fire. Akame swings Murasame through the air and sends a wave of energy that covers three feet in height, but is very thin in width. Can be swung in any direction, horizontally, vertically and diagonally. When it finds a target, be it flesh or steel it lets off a small booming sound and erupts into a short burst of fire, it doesn't burn, but it makes Akame's attacks feel much more solid. Stroke takes a while second to ready by cover flame from hilt to tip in that second. It travels on until finds a target, or flies for 5 seconds. The speed at which it travels is roughly 30mph. So it wouldn't be very effective from a long distance anyways with ample time to dodge it. It needs 5 seconds to recharge before Akame can make us of it again.

  • How draining is this (i.e. Can she essentially keep waiting the five seconds and fire it throughout the battle, or does it tire her out)?
  • Does it require her to be motionless?
  • Can she still use other moves while this is charging and does it require her full attention to do so?
  • How damaging is the attack overall (like, vaguely; stats would actually determine it, but gimme a descriptor, yo)?

Can be swung in any direction, horizontally, vertically and diagonally. When it finds a target, be it flesh or steel it lets off a small booming sound and erupts into a short burst of fire, it doesn't burn. The attack is a sharp wave of energy that cuts just a bit deeper than Murasame. It is well explained like a sword, only it is launched. At Akame's current strength of 2, it could be a nasty cut depending on where it lands. Once built up, the attack cannot be stacked for multiple uses, and it can be taxing if used rapidly. It can be charged and saved for use (I.e., clashing blades would not activate Stroke of it is charged up.) The second of charging requires Akame to hold still, but she can actively fire it in motion. Charging stroke takes too much attention to use other attacks. Stroke takes a while second to ready by cover flame from hilt to tip in that second. It travels on until finds a target, or flies for 5 seconds. The speed at which it travels is roughly 30mph. So it wouldn't be very effective from a long distance anyways with ample time to dodge it.
