From One Prison to Another

[Zelrius]

The Golden Haired boy felt the world of Aincrad slowly melt away before him. There were a few moments between his Player Death and the boy's mind being fried by the very gear that delivered him to that world. In these few moments, Zelrius stood in what appeared to be a sky with a Sun seemingly locked in infinite twilight. The invisible platform underneath his feet keeping him from falling into the seemingly endless void below the floating castle. He had enough time to form a small sigh, and then it was gone. He was strangely more aware in Death than he had thought he would be. In his mind's eye, The golden haired boy had always imagined it to be nothing but pure darkness, and no thoughts, but yet here he was; still able to form meaningful whispers inside his mind.

For a moment, the boy felt fear. He had always been unconvinced there was an afterlife, and now was terrified to meet a sort of Judgement. Despite how many times he laughed at the idea of a god, when a figure finally appeared, Zelrius found himself wanting to plead for forgiveness, against the fact that he firmly believed he had done no wrong. The boy found he couldn't form words no matter how he tried, but somehow the being before him still understood entirely what he wanted to say. 

The being raised a finger, silencing Zelrius' thoughts and then went on to explain the situation in a bit of detail, though it seemed he was more or less being wordsy and poetic about what was going on. As the being introduced himself and explained his reasoning for bringing Zelrius here, the fear seeped away to anger fairly quickly. And he didn't listen to a single bit about the Omnillium. All he cared about was the part where 'Omni' basically told Zelrius he was just another pawn of many, and it made the boy want scream and yell, wanting nothing more than to draw his swords and slice Omni into shreds, if not to kill him, then to anger him.

Finally the boy was dropped by the Fountain, currently in the form of an actual fountain, though he ignored it, now able to talk. "NO GOD DAMN IT!" Were Zelrius' first words in this new realm. "I WILL NOT BE A FUCKING PAWN ANYMORE, I AM SICK OF IT." The boy wildly drew his swords and swung furiously, whacking the Fountain and swinging in the air. "KILL ME, LET ME JUST DISAPPEAR ENTIRELY." He tired out quickly, slumping against the fountain, trying not to break down. "I don't want to live another lonely existence... please..." His face pet into his cupped hands, sobbing quietly.

[Manta]

Manta was unsure what was going on, but seeing as she couldnt remember much that made sense. The last thing she remembered was falling off a cliff in Aincrad, presumable to her death. She was quite grateful to whoever this Omni person was for saving her and depositing her in this strange world, even if it meant she was stuck in yet another world. Still, it wasnt like she remembered anything in Sword Art Online, except for her falling. She didnt remember anything before it either, so she didnt really feel any sense of loss. She sat against the fountain, resting and attempting to recreate that rapier that she had had before. It took her a few minutes, but she finally did it, just as she heard shouting and cussing coming from the other side of the fountain. It seemed that some other poor soul had been transported here and wasn't as content as she was. She peeked up over the fountain at the person, wondering what had made him so angry. Just then he stopped and fell down on his knees to start sobbing. Yeesh. Someone wasnt having a good day. "Hey, whatever's the matter, it isnt a problem anymore. You get a clean slate, a chance to make up for any mistakes." She called out to him, unsure if she should be backing away slowly or approaching him to hug him.

[Zelrius]

He sat there for a moment, quietly breathing and sniffling to himself. It hadn't been since that very beginning of that infinite hell of a Prison called a Video Game that Zelrius cried that of his own volition. Actually, that wasn't true, the night Sweet little Erin left him alone in that Inn room the golden haired boy had finally gotten the Ego check he needed. However, it may have been a bit much, since that exact moment is what made Zelrius realize he was truly alone in that world, and there was nothing he could do about it. Now he found himself alone once again, crying like a pansy ass to himself over once again being used as nothing more than an entertainment piece.

At this point, Zelrius felt more vengeful than sadness. Telling himself things to the sort that he would find a way to destroy this God 'Omni', and most of all, finding a way to finally end his own miserable existence. His crying slowly stopped, his face shifting into cold collectedness. Within a few moments, his expression shifted from the lines of sadness to the furrows and creases that signified thought. The God had spoken about this almost all powerful substance 'Omnillium'.

Midway through this thought a voice called out and his first instinct was to retract or maybe even attack, but decided there was no point in that, he needed tools at this point in time. Zelrius rubbed his eyes with his gloved hands, standing up from leaning against the fountain and giving a quick flare of his cloak and dust off of his tuxedo. "Clean slate. I'd rather still be King of Aincrad," He attempted to joke with the woman talking to him.

[Manta]

Manta smirked, giving her red hair a little toss, setting a hand on her rapier. Another Sword Art Online person. This was good news depending on how you looked at it. If he was cool, maybe they could team up as they were both new to this place. "You dont look much like Kayaba." She joked back, letting him know that she was from the same place as him. Wait, what if he actually was Kayaba, and that was why he had been crying because he'd been torn from his little playground. He really didnt look like Kayaba though...

She glanced around the vast expanse, wondering what direction to go in. She looked back at the other play- man. She would need to get used to not thinking about people as players anymore. She would probably just follow him because they had a connection, however small that connection was. Who knew what else they would find in this strange place? One thing was for sure, she would need to get some more of that Omnillium stuff.

[Zelrius]

As the girl flicked her hair, he got small dream like glimpses of someone he may or may not have known in the realm before. With each passing moment, The thoughts and experiences in Aincrad began to become hazy and unreal, becoming increasingly difficult to call upon at will. The memories and moments became distant, almost dreamlike. Then she brought the name Kayaba up, one that instantly made his almost fake, calm, expression disappear into visible rage. "No, I wasn't that sack of shit of a person. Add that to my list of shit I need Omnillium for, Destroy that man's entire existence."

It also brought just the slightest twinge of a smile to his face to know that this girl had also come from the same realm. "So you know of the crazy bastard, what is your name, young lady?" Zelrius was now genuinely curious, the slight feelings of familiarity still tugging at him little by little

[Amber Veritz]

Amber slightly limped past the fountain. The pain of her wounds from her previous fight still stung pretty bad, but most of the bleeding had stopped. She had taken note of the blondie swinging a sword wildly at the fountain and talking to the younger woman as she had her conversation with her new mechanical friend. He was having the same reaction as Amber did when she first entered this hell land. Compelled by some kind of empathy, she slowly walked over to him, tail dragging on the pale white floor of the Nexus. "Oi, you two must have got here. We seem to be in the same boat here. I thought I should give you a fair warning that just about anything in this world is hostile. You should be wary about who you talk to."


The cat girl let go of her arm she had been holding from the impact of force in her recent fight. "As for me, I am Amber Veritz. I lead...well, led Team AMBR in my home world. Please to meet you if you'll trust me enough not to attack me ruthlessly." As slight chuckle pasted over her breath as she spoke. "But, you're gonna kill me, now would be the time. Seeing as how I'm badly injured, I'm sure you'd have a good chance of taking me down rather easily."

[Manta]

Manta watched as two more people approached, turning back to the blonde haired man. "I'm Manta, from SAO too." She said, before turning back to the other two. Oooh... A catgirl. Manta resisted the overwhelming urge to pet the woman's ears. Despite her distraction, she did manage to make out that pretty much everything in this world was hostile, which didnt actually seem to be the case. "Sorry if I dont believe you, but three out of the three people I've met so far have been friendly." She pointed out, making sure that her hand didnt stray near her rapier. If the other woman's opinion was that pretty much everyone was hostile, she might take something as small as her hand getting close to her weapon as provocation to attack.

[Damien Darhk]

Cyborg was surprised by Amber's blunt words. Looking from her to the other newcomers of the omniverse in shock. If they did try something Cyborg would stop them from hurting his new friend.

Doing a quick scan Cyborg discovered only two of his offensive attacks were working. His gauntlet and his blaster. Should be enough to take them down, although the numbers would definitely be difficult. Hopefully Amber would know better to run instead of aiding him in the possible fight. 

Being in this new world Cyborg didn't know I he cod even trust Amber, but she was the closest thing to a friend he had at this point.

Taking a cautious stance he spoke. 

"I'm Cyborg, member of the Justice League and the Teen Titans." He said hoping his credentials would impress them. Judging from their blank stares this fell on deaf ears. Well it was worth a shot.

[Damien Darhk]

"Familiar life form detected, due west." The internal computer chimed in Cyborg's ear. Stepping away from the group, he began to read the new alert. 

Somewhere off in the distance some person from home was in the Omniverse. Could it be one of the Titans? Or one of the members of the Justice League? Cyborg wasn't sure but he felt that he needed to investigate this ping. Cyborg was shocked that his computer had notified him of this. It had never done that before. 

"Amber, I'm sorry I'm going to have to leave now. You look like you're in good hands with these two. Be safe, okay? Hopefully I'll run into you again" Cyborg said quickly before turning and leaving. Amber gave a curt nod in his direction as she watched the large metal man depart.

It had taken Cyborg several hours to arrive at his destination. A large gate stood before him, a light blue liquid substance elegantly floated with in the archway. This strange portal reminded Cyborg of the boom tubes that the leaguers used to transport themselves all across earth, or rather those who weren't blessed with the ability to fly and survive in space. 

"Halt, state your name and business Prime!" Yelled a man who was armored in all white. He looked rather bored as he raised his hand to motion to him to stop. 

"Umm, my name is Cyborg, uhhhh I'm just traveling I guess?" He said, not sure what he expected. 

"Ah you must be a new Prime then eh? Let me just scan you to confirm that and then you're free to enter Courscant" he said, pulling out what looked like a remote control. A light blue light appeared from the end and scanned Cyborg from head to toe. After a few seconds the machine beeped and the man grunted. 

"I expected as much but its procedure  you know?" He shrugged. " Like I said you're free to enter, respect the other Stormtroopers and if you have any problems feel free to ask one of the others. Two other Stormtroopers will be on the other side to answer any questions you have, have a good day." The stormtrooper said finishing his rather blatant rehearsed script. 

With a nod Cyborg entered the gate.

[Amber Veritz]

Amber watched as her new companion left so suddenly, they had hardly even met. He tripped on her and nearly killed her, helped her get up from it, then introduced themselves and then he is just going to leave. "Take care of yourself Cyborg. I hope we meet again." She stared at the half robotic man as he took off, then turned back at the two newcomers. "If you two just got here, that must mean that I'm the first you've met that has been here for awhile. I think I've been here a little over two hours."

Murasaki finally decided to join his best friend Amber after a devastating battle. He spoke coldly as usual. "Amber, are you sure you should be talking to strangers? Last time we did that it turned into a death battle and you nearly died." The cat girl turned to her life long friend. "Don't worry, 'Saki. They look sane enough to not randomly attack people. I think it's good for us to make friendships while we can. I can already tell this world is unforgiving, and I've hardly even explored it. We should get a base of operations set up and work on setting up in this new world, because as far as I can tell, we are going to be here for a good long while." Murasaki crossed his arms in response to Amber. "You know I always follow your judgement, you are the boss, lead me the way." Amber nodded to her friend and turned back to Manta and Zelrius. "How you two like to join up with me and my friend here. Strength in numbers, right?"

[Amber Veritz]

Murasaki edged around to Amber, standing next to her. Crossing his arms and looking a little to the side at her, "Amber, the more people we take with us the more likely we run the risk of getting attacked again. I think it's best we trust only ourselves for now. Perhaps we get Rose and Ellise here later when we find a safe place to do so. There's too many people here ready to attack for anything." Amber sighed quietly. Murasaki was always right, and she was glad he gave her the cold truth over a comforting lie. "Alright."

She spoke out to the two in question. "I hope you two do what you need to to survive in this harsh world. I hope we meet again, when time isn't a burden." With that, the tall, dark clothed boy and the short golden haired girl turned and proceeded to one of the distant arcs. Their trip remained quiet, as Murasaki did not enjoy talk so much. After a while of walking, the two finally arrived at the Frozen Fields gate. "Whelp, here it goes Murasaki!" Amber wasted no time in jumping through the gate, with Murasaki tailing her.
