NPC usage requests

Figured i'd make this thread so that multiple people could request for mods to rp as NPCs without making a shit load of other threads and making alot of trouble.

i was wondering if a mod could rp as Thrall for a story line i have planned for shiro? if it's not too much trouble anyway, i know you guys are pretty busy and all

I'd love to help you out in whatever way I can. When you reach the point in your storyline where you want to involve a Thrall cameo, just shoot me a private message with the specifics and I will work something up for you.

Since I have questions related to NPCs, I might as well post them here:

1. I'm aware that Proto Man technically fills the role of all the official NPCs, but is it a requirement for a staff member to write as an official NPC or is it enough that we ask for permission to use them in your posts?

2. Are we allowed to use NPCs that aren't from our character's universe? Specifically, I'm wondering if we utilise characters from an official NPCs universe as...well, NPCs. For example, if one wanted to use Thrall in their storyline, could they use characters such as Jaina Proudmoore or Grom Hellscream as NPCs (assuming they're not already PCs, of course)?

3. There's a soft limit of two NPC Primes, but are we allowed to replace an NPC Prime with another later if we are only using an NPC temporarily/for a specific storyline?

No, you can write as them with staff oversight.

The whole 'two Primes' and 'no Primes from other universes' thing is, as explained in the FAQ/RPing Process, a definite guideline. It's mostly to say, before you create a billion Primes, establish yourself on the site and in the universe. Respect the long-term and don't do too much all at once. Make sure staff are cool with what you're doing. As long as you keep that in mind, we're fairly easy and we're happy to encourage creativity.
