Chaotic Fumble
#1
Camelot was the world where swords and sorcery ruled and where technology had little sway. It wasn't the ideal place for him to begin his mission to get stronger, but Warren Zimmer had no choice in the matter. As he was now, he could be defeated by a Secondary Child, and that was disgusting. His irritation boiled as he began trekking through the world. Some of the books he had read had mentioned a sword that could be of use to him, or at least that would provide him an edge in combat. His current Wazikashi as he had was not able to be useful against more powerful weapons. No, what he needed was a bit of an upgrade so that he could survive his next encounter with the Stormtroopers.  A frown formed on his face. Was he supposed to play nice with every enemy who came his way? No, he wasn't a good guy nor was he a saint. There had been one of his mistakes the previous time he had been here. He'd been too nice and had gloated about his plans. Those who didn't know the mistakes of the past were doomed to repeat it, and Warren wasn't going to repeat any of his previous mistakes.  Camelot could make an excellent home to Fort Zimmer possibly although he wasn't sure. His home had to be somewhere that he wasn't likely to be bothered by the heroic types. It had to be such a place because he refused to underestimate his enemies again. The Quarterback of Chaos could ill afford to lose this pickup game because now he had no choice but to win. Compassion was not something he was going to deal out to his enemies this time around.

"The time has come that I can no longer play nice with my enemies.  As the Quarterback of Chaos, and as Wild Card I cannot afford to be soft any longer."  Warren said as he spent the required time to summon a motorcycle for his own use. Getting on it, he'd start to drive it through Camelot as he made his way to one of the locations he remembered from the books that he had read. Finding an old abandoned castle that was in definite need of being repaired he thought of what he had read. There was an evil twin to the sword Excalibur somewhere in this area, and that was interesting to him because he needed another sword for himself. Once he had arrived at the castle he dissipated his motorcycle and began looking around the place, to see if he could find anything of use.

Sticking out of a nearby wall was an old looking spear that had certainly seen better days. The blade was rusted, and the spear had seen better days but it appeared to be made out of carbon steel. As he gazed upon the spear, Warren thought about it. The spear was a weapon that no one seemed to care about. As a result of that, Warren had no qualms about what he was about to do. Having picked up the spear a once over was given to the spear by Warren. Concentrating he held out his hand and the spear melted down into Omnilium. From there he closed his eyes and imagined the form of what he wanted the spear to look like. It was now a black spear with gray trim and a purple metal blade. The spear had engravings on it that had no special properties, but was just for aesthetics mainly. Smirking beneath his helmet Warren picked up the new spear and swung it a few times experimentally. His spear was certainly something he needed because of how under armed he had been. Weapons were only part of the equation however. What he needed were some powers for himself that he didn't presently have.

"So far I have a spear and a sword in my bag of tricks. It will not be enough, though. Ranged combat will be difficult for me to say the least." said Warren Zimmer, thinking about what was going on. He knew that his creation of the spear could only help him so much because it had no special powers of any sort to it. When a boar in the area came towards him and tried to gore him on both of it's tusks Warren summoned the Wazikashi. Clashing it with the horn of the beast Warren finally managed to make a slash that slaughtered the creature. The animal had been put down by him and now that it was dead he summoned a rag and some water with Omnilium.

Using the rag he began to polish his armor off and remove any and all blood from the armor. Once he had cooked some of the meat of the dead animal and bled it before doing so, Warren made sure the meat was blood free so that it could be delicious for him. Smiling a little as his armor was drying off, Warren lifted one of the skewers on which a strip of meat had been cooking. After he had blown on the meat for a few minutes, Warren put it in his mouth. Savoring the sweet taste of roasted meat he enjoyed every bite of the food. Sure he didn't need to eat, but it tasted wonderful. Having grabbed another of the skewers of meat he roasted it in the fire for a few minutes. Once it was dripping with juice he'd bite the meat and savor every taste of the meat.

The weapons he had now were not the ones he preferred to be completely honest. The Z-Tech Wrist Blasters were made in such a way that they had been more useful to him than they had been this time around. Unfortunately, he didn't have the weapons at his disposal at all. They were not around and he had forgotten how he had made them. To say he was frustrated about the situation was an understatement. Dismissing the animal and absorbing the remains of it into Omnilium which he then absorbed into his body Warren groaned. What was he to do in this situation where he had little in the way of weapons systems for his own personal use.

"The Z-Tech Wrist Blasters no longer exist, so I can't summon them. "  He'd sigh as he had thought about it for several moments.  "They were useful when I had them, but I can't depend on them anymore. What I need is a new weapon for ranged combat. Given that I lack the offensive capability for ranged combat more than a spear which would be useless if I were to need a ranged weapon, I should hunt for a new one."

Warren paused for a moment, having examined his surroundings. The old castle he was in had certainly seen better days. Ivy and moss had grown up the walls of the place. The structural integrity of the castle was not at suitable levels for inhabitation. There was also a weird odor in the area, one that disgusted Warren. Staying here any longer was not a wise idea. With that, he started his path out of the castle. His journey was going to continue until he developed the potential he needed. As the Quarterback of Chaos he could ill-afford to allow himself to be as weak as he presently was. Survival was part of "entertaining" Omni most likely, and to do so he'd need weapons for himself that he didn't have.
