Character It Would be Fun to Play

First off, love playing Paul, but I got to thinking about what weird/unconventional characters we could play. I mean if we have a carp streamer and the like I’m sure we can come up with some other fun ones. Any thoughts, join in. Just for fun.

Godzilla
How much fun would it be to play as a massive green beast with only a basic intelligence. Sure, you’d be able to talk in some fashion (or else RPing might get a bit dull- maybe telepathy?). I could totally see him with some energy breath, and just stomping around the city. Btw, I’m talking more about the Toho era Godzilla rather than “Zilla” from America. Give him really low speed and pretty bad technique but boost his Str out the wazu. Other Kaiju could also be as fun to play.


Arthur Dent (Hitchhikers Guide)
As long as you took him from some point after the 1st book, the Omniverse would be pretty par for the course. “Oh, another weird universe? Is it Tuesday already?” Certainly by like the 3rd book he’d be pretty jaded about the whole thing. Give him a towel, a copy of the guide, and maybe eventually the Heart of Gold?


Wade Watts/Parzival (Ready Player One)
Dude. The sheer number of 80s / geek memorabilia you could cram into playing Parzival would be glorious. Best part? He could totally still think he’s on the trail of James Halliday's Easter egg and just trapped in the OASIS or something.

I like the idea of Parzival if only because at some point I plan on making Hiro Protagonist from Snow Crash my second character. And those two seem like they would be a superawesome cyberpunk teamup

Saitama from One Punch Man. Just imagine. This guy who's used to obliterating anything in his path comes into the Omniverse and finds his power dramatically reduced.

and he's freaking ecstatic about it because he can rediscover the thrill of the fight and overcoming obstacles through sheer hard work.

I think it would be interesting to play Hierarch Artanis, post LotV. Or Zeratul. Or even Karax.

Here's a quick summary of all of the characters I think would be fun to play, in my opinion.

Master Chen

Character source: LEGO Ninjago
I purely want to play him because of how absolutely hammy he is. "ONLY ONE WILL REMAIN!"
He would have the Mimic ability, because elemental staff, and at least the Melee Attack Proficiency.

Ardon
Character source: Will Save World For Gold
I have his personality down well, and he seems like a pretty fun character.
He has a lot of abilities. Buff Proficiency, Healing, basic Teleportation, and even has things he could summon as Assists.

Eobard Thawne
Character source: The Flash(CW)
I have his personality down, too, and I would love to go back to my roots, character-wise.
Super speed, Phasing, both Melee Attack and Ranged Attack Proficiency...He'd be fun.

Ethan
Character source: Ctrl+Alt+Del
Simply put, I think it would be fun to see how Ethan reacts to the Omniverse.
He can't do much in his own world, but he'll be a Prime here. With Omnilium, he'll give himself whatever fighting abilities he'd please.

I'm not sure I could handle a third character. Having enough issues with two. IF I did a third one...

Kefka from FF6 would be neat, but I'm pretty villain heavy as is. Still, he's batshit crazy, but somehow he still manages to accomplish his goals.

Simon Belmont (or any of the Belmonts, really) would be a cool concept to roll with, but he'd be so focused on Dracula that I'm afraid there wouldn't be much room for him to grow.

Shinichi from Parasyte would be fun. Spend a lot of time trying to avoid conflict by always being inevitably drawn to it. And he has a talking hand, so that's cool.

Ayumu from Is This a Zombie. I like this character. But I like zombies too, so there's that. A lot of self-sacrificial move potential here. This would be an option for a less serious character than the others.

Also, I'm shocked there's not more Sephiroth on here, considering how the entire internet seems to have a hard-on for him.
