Does using Unicode characters that are unusual, In particular the list of characters below, mess with BBcode or in any way result in OM bloat? I was planning to use them as a sort of "ancient/magic language" type deal, and wanted to double check before I actually started using them in posts.

I don't think they'll cause OM bloat, but its better to learn these things BEFORE you start using them in your posts.

Is my character limited to his moves when it comes to combat, or is there such thing as a basic attack which involves a basic melee or ranged weapon?

I guess what I'm asking is will I need to make a move for something like a shotgun or wrench attack.

Regular punches and kicks don't need a move, just Physical Strength. You'd need a move for a shotgun and a wrench.

EDIT: You could use the wrench/shotgun without a move, but they'd fall under 'incidental weapons' and be very weak/easily breakable.

Is everything always so slow here? I mean, it takes 12 hours just for a post to go up, and then another 8 or so for someone to respond to it.

yeah sorry about that, there seems to be an issue with new accounts having certain posts go through moderation before they show up, I've been workling on getting to them ASAP but we are working on trying to see what the exact issue is, since these forums should be new account accessible.

Those two terms refer to the exact same thing. It's your second character, but it's also an alternate - as in, different from your first, primary character.

I noticed Dell wanted someone to play an NPC for him, could I post as my gun account to help him out and push him along? Obviously the OM I'd earn from that would be used for nothing so also is there a way to deactivate OM gain for RyanthePlumber?

You can just post from your Red Hood account if you want to NPC for him. That kind of thing is totally fine, others (myself included) have done it in the past. And since you're writing, you'd of course be allowed to keep the OM gained.

I have a question about bounties. Completing one of these for a specific verse(Camelot for example) does this give you rep with that verse?

You'd get rep with whichever faction has the bounty out, not the entire verse.

The OM transfer happens however you'd like it to more or less. Easiest way is probably to just have them give you coins or credits or whatever and then have your Prime convert them to OM.

If I'm in a place, like TWNN, am I to assume there are already buildings thematic to the area there? Or do I need to make some up? Or are there some that I dont know about in some list somewhere?

Sorry for pestering you guys with questions but I have one more. Its about TWNN again. Is it supposed to be like a old western town? Or more like Mos Eisley, with old adobe-looking houses intermixed with empire tech? I'm sorry again for the questions but the description in the thread is very vague and I dont want to screw up my post with potential wrong content.

@Dell, I personally view it as a mixture! Some descriptions are pretty rustic, but with all the different inhabitants coming in and the Empire, there's probably miscellaneous tech scattered around. We won't penalize you for having a little creative freedom so long as you don't make it like something completely inconceivable in a desert setting.

As long as you have gone through the approval process and purchased the Assist, that's fine.

I'm not really sure what you mean. Items themselves have a function detailed in their description and most Artefacts function as some kind of move/power. So without the item/artefact you'd be unable to trigger the effect by definition.

If you mean some item or artefact in a looser, non-official sense like something of your own creation (like a sword or necklace or something), you're free to include that in the move's description upon approval if you like but it won't have any real effect on the move's power or your stats or anything; it'd just be flavor. Some players already do this with moves only being usable during Transformations and the like.

EDIT: I spoke with Ammy and she mentioned you might have meant a move linked to an Artefact and not a move provided by an Artefact's actual noted function. In this case it'd also be a self-imposed condition. It's allowed, but there's no benefit to doing so (beyond interesting story-ness, anyway).
