Since you tweaked the story a bit, we'll just need a bit more from you. You'll just need to have Caira meet with the Astronomers' Guild and have Marty convince them to trust you. From there they can share their info with Caira and you'll have completed the quest.

While you aren't eligible for Writing Bonus (there's a word minimum), you do get a Participation Bonus:
