Free Roleplaying Forum

This has been at the back of my mind for a while now but since there's never really been demand, I left it there. Anyway. Would folks be interested if I were to open up a forum for 'free roleplaying'? Make topics for whatever you want, non-canonical stuff, etc. I don't want to make one if it's just going to be totally dead and unused, but if there's demand I'll make one.

Would this be an IC forum, with OM gains? If not, the Creative Corner seems to be able to do the job just as well.

True 'nuff. That can work. Though if there's enough interest I'm still open to making a dedicated forum to it, seems like there probably wouldn't be enough right now to merit its own forum.

I wouldn't mind doing one in the IC section, rewarding people for expanding their creativity with standard OM gains. Just make it clear that free writing doesn't qualify for weeklies. That might help some of those folks who write faster than their partners.

I wouldn't wanna give OM for anything not directly Omniverse-related (seems obvious) though the whole "write as an NPC thing" is still there for those who write faster than their partners. I was actually thinking of doing some writing as Alundra today under Samus or Enel.

In that case, why not just add a subforum to the CC board? We could call it Omni's Dreams, or some such. I'm interested in this idea. I've been musing over writing some non-canon Ganondorf where he's the hero.

I'll just leave CC as the go-to for the moment, and if things start to get cluttered I'll move those topics to a new forum.

Keep it in the CC. Gives it another purpose outside of graphics.
