Omnivers Mock Fight RPG
#1
OK I got a really great idea last night. What if we pit all contestants in a tournament style rpg fight with minor Omni Physics involved. Pokémon and Final fantasy came to mind when making this

Here is an example
Mega Man LV 50 (everyone is LV 50 just for show)
Moves (only 4)
Nail Shield
Surrounds Mega Man in Nails Boosting defense and damaging opponents who use contact moves. Using it again (after one turn) allows one to throw nails at multiple opponents but with mediocre accuracy and you lose the defense boost. 1.5 defense boost (1st turn) 80 Power (second turn). 75% accuracy. Lasts 2 turns.
Mega Ball
Mega Man kicks an exploding ball at the opponent with high accuracy and decent damage. 75 POW 100% Accuracy
Mega Buster
Using the move once launches a solar pellet that does minor damage. If he charges for 1 turn it'll do more damage. PW: 40 (uncharged) PW: 120 (charged)
Crash Bomb
Mega Man launches a bomb that latches on to an opponent and explodes 2 turns later
PW:100
Summons (cost SP of which you have 50)
Eddie (5 SP)
Warps in and gives Mega Man an Energy Pellet that restores 50% of damage done
Flash Man (10 SP)
The reformed Flash Man warps in and freezes time allowing Mega Man to move twice in one turn
Super Moves (cost SP) (All OP moves go here, transformations go here, and if a move is the equivalent of the Pokémon moves Shell Smash, Draco Meteor and the like, Please be safe and put it here)
Super Adaptor(20 SP)
Rush merges with Mega Man doubling all stats and replacing his moves with these (except Summons
Super Buster (1 SP-2 SP)
Mega Man fires a shot that does decent damage. Charging it fires his fist that hit's twice in a row 80 power per hit
( Every move done while transformed costs varying SP cost Transformation costs depend on the OPness of the transformation. Super Saiyan would not cost 10 SP.) The lowest possible cost of a transformation is 10 SP)

Stats (to avoid a headache just multiply your current stats by 10. Not doing this would require approval as to why your stats are how they are)
Attack: 30
Def:20
Tec:30(whether a move hits depends on its own natural accuracy so this is basically your likelihood of hitting an opponent who's boosted his evasion
Spd:20 (Who moves first pretty simple huh?)

So basically it's a work in progress but if your interested reply.

What I need:
A damage equation
An evasiveness equation

I certainly am intrigued. It's hard to decide on a damage equation without a general idea of how we apply health, though. Would it be the same as in the Omniverse?

As for evasiveness, we could apply the equation used in Pokemon. "P = A(base) * (Accuracy/Evasion)", where A(base) is the base accuracy of the move, Accuracy would be the user's Tec stat, and Evasion could be opponent's spd stat. When P ≥ 1, the attack will surely hit. For example:

Mega Man uses Nail Shield on Jams. P = .75 * (30/30) = 75% chance of hitting.

Mega Man uses Mega Ball on Jade. P = 1 * (30/20) = 1.5 = Sure to hit.

So basically, the equasion is "P = A(base) * (Tec/Spd)".

hp is something that has been troubling me because since most of these fights will be 1v1 it will be boring and kind of anticlimactic if one second we had stall fights and the next 10 minutes are pure OHKOs. Unless that's what people want?. That's the difference between giving them the hp values of pokemon for strategy or the hp values of someone from Final Fantasy allowing longer more action packed fights

Perhaps an HP equation is in order! With P being Hp and D being def, we can do a couple of things for an equation.

A) P = (BaseDef * Lvl(20))/3, where P is the total HP, BaseDef is their real stats in the Omnicerse, and Lvl is set to 50. This limits the total hp to about 667 at a base def stat of 20, whereas a base def stat of 3 gives them 100 HP. This is better for Pokemon-esque battles.

B) P = (1/2Def * Level(20))/3, which is the same equation but modified to used the Mock RPG's stats instead. This makes the overall HP a bit higher and more FF-esque. I added the 1/2 to multiply to Def because otherwise, the HP would jump up waaaay too high between increments.

If these aren't good enough, I could continue to think up some more.
