Okay so Mister Prince Thief and I have been having horroriffic adventures. I showed him some miniseries on Youtube and some little known mythos, (if youre interested, just ask) and then he just starts spouting at me in tongues regaling me with his real life paranormal exploits.
Long story short, I'm a lil fockin' wimp.
Still though, I'm pretty addicted to stories and mythos like this. I REALLY don't like being scared, but they intrigue me for what they are.

A friend of mine said her dad played with an Ouija board once with a couple of his buds. His chums. His compadres. (Really dumb idea, like, you're not supposed to even kid around with that stuff, srs. )) Anyways, they were like, "Hey, wouldn't it be just, the greatest idea ever to go out to this old building that no one has lived in and lay this sucker out and play at making small talk with some ghosts?" And so they did. Apparently nothing ever happened with the board itself, but there was a mirror in the room and app-ar-ent-ly they couldn't see their reflections in it? Like, they couldn't see anyone standing in the room when they looked in it, even when there was maybe eight people standing around. Weird.
Uuuuhhhh, an English teacher I had a few years ago also did something like that, but without an Ouija board. They went into this building everyone thought was like, a portal to friggin' Hell, and she said one of her friends was wigging out the entire time and saying she was going to curse her or something and it was just super spooky? It was a while back so I can't remember too well, but that was the gist of the whole thing.
I had a cousin who attended a wedding at a pretty """famous""" haunted hotel in my state. There was a ghost or something in her room and it closed and opened the door, moved her keys around, nothing much else beyond that. Apparently it was the ghost of a man who helped in the original construction of the hotel who fell to his death? Something like that.

I used to live in a place that irrationally terrifies me to walk through in the dark. I would only feel safe in my room, and I would even quickly rinse my face in the shower so I could see if a spirit was coming to get me. Nothing ever manifested and nothing out of the ordinary ever happened, but I still hated the place.
When I would sleep in a certain bed at my grandmother's house, I would always have nightmares. Sometimes recurring, about a darkness that wanted to suck me into it. These days, I rarely have nightmares that aren't just interesting dreams, but back then I was pretty spooked by them.
Lastly, if I'm in a dimly lit area, or even if I just choose to focus on it, I see a light sheen on static on everything. I can also see auras around objects, and sometimes people.
All this leads me to the conclusion that I have mild paranoid schizophrenia. :p

You are all very spoop and i am not jealous in the slightest.
I haven't had much paranormal experience, thank God. I think it's the powers that be telling me that "Nah, son. You ain't ready for these spiritual escapades, you'll flip your shit."
One time, while I was playing playstations with my buddy at his house, his fireplace just like fwoosh caught on fire. Out of nowhere. His parents said that his granddad had passed away in that house, and they like 100 percent believe he's still there spiritually.
I have had it happen to my family, however. My dad used to live in Louisiana when he worked for Dow Chemical (he got transferred there, that is to say) and sometimes he would just go up there on business by himself instead of trying to drag my little sisters or my stepmother or me with him. The house he had to stay in was apparently an old plantation shack area that like, housed slaves or something. When i was older, he told me about times when he like, woke up in a cold sweat because of some biznasty dream or feeling in the back of his mind. The weirdest thing that ever happened though, he says, was one time he woke up and was all shaken and shit right? Says it felt like someone had hands around his throat. Not dangerously so, but still like thats fucking terrifying. So he goes over to the sink and splashes some water in his face. Then, when he looked up at the mirror, it was just pitch black. Like just total darkness in the reflection. You could not see shit, he swears up and down to this day.
And also, my littlest sister Ellie was pretty young when her mom passed away (my stepmom). Ever since, she's had a real horrible time sleeping. Like I'm pretty sure she still has problems, and this was over five years ago, which is understandable right? It's the girl's mom. So anyways, I used to wake up, and she'd just be SOBBING in her sleep, like, she wasn't awake or anything. Just crying while she was asleep. If you tried to wake her up out of the bad dream, she either snaps out of it or just gets louder until you stop messing with her. My dad thinks that she would like, wake up for a few moments and see her mom, which probably creeped her little heart out. Though I imagine she wasn't trying to scare her.
Also of some spiritual note, my Dad says that wherever he goes now, after Lisa (stepmom) passed away, he sees mockingbirds. We could be at the beach, or in North Carolina in the middle of flurrying december. "Hey, look Jesse. Mockingbird(s)." Sometimes I could see it, sometimes I think only he could see it. Anyways, the reason for this little oddity apparently has something to do with Native Americans believing that Mockingbirds are guardians/manifestations/symbols of our loved ones' spirits or something like that, I don't quite remember how my grandmother put it.
So yeah thats about the extent of my paranormalities, thankfully. Wimp that I am, i couldn't handle actually seeing anything. I'd flip my shit.

The worst things that have happened to me are;
someone calling my name in the middle of the night, while everyone is asleep.
and a sort of sleep paralysis where I hear loud shrieks and voices in my ear, during sleep.
Both are still very horrifying when it's sudden and unexpected though.

I actually don't have many experiences with the paranormal, if one can believe that. I have, however, had a couple in my past.
The memories of it are fuzzy, as it occurred sometime when I was around three-four years old, so the vast majority of the stuff I remember is stuff that my parents told me about. So unless my parents are trying to frighten me, then I'm sticking to their word.
I used to live in the state of Missouri (my current state is Ohio,) in a town called Wildwood. Nice little place, though I only really remember being in an apartment complex for the vast majority of the time I lived there. In any case, we lived there for a short while before moving to a rented house, where we then stayed until my dad got a job as a librarian at a college in Ohio, and that's where I live to this day.
Speaking of my dad, my dad's dad, aka Grandpa Tom, had apparently had a lot of stuff that we still have. For example, we had an indiana-jones style whip he used to own, as well as a baton. He was a Military Police guy, meaning he made sure the soldiers in a base or whatever didn't end up killing each other and stuff like that. I never met him due to the fact he ended up dying from a heart attack ages before I was born.
However, there was one more item we kept in memory of him: A photo of his younger years. He looked like a teenager, I think, and he had on a helmet with the letters "MP" written on it. I had it in the closet of my room. I use "had" it the past tense because I no longer have it at all, and that's because for a while, paranormal stuff started to occur.
For starters, I would wake up in the middle of the night to find Grandpa Tom standing in the middle of the room, staring at me or doing something else. He never harmed me except by freaking me the hell out each time it happened, and eventually it got to the point where we had to remove the photo from the closet, which stopped the ghost from reappearing.
I don't believe in ghosts persay, and it might've been just childlike imagination.
But you never know.
i may be all alone
but i'm here to tell ya honey
that i'm bad to the bone
B-B-B-Bad to the bone

I've had the lamp flicker a few times, weird marks appear in the basement of my old house. Sometimes weird knocking at night.

I haven't had all that much really, not even spooky, but...
Once I was in a friend's house for a sleepover, I needed to use the bathroom and couldn't find it. Then I saw a man telling me that it was a door on the left, I think he wore a straw hat like stereotypical medieval farmers used to - and it indeed was the bathroom. He was like 40 to 50 years old but the only person that old was my friend's father and he was out that day, on a business trip I think.
Similar thing, I once woke up from a nightmare when sleeping over at my grandma's place, in the room where my grandpa kept his piano. He was already dead since some two years by then. I saw him sitting on the piano seat and he told me that it was a dream and I should go back to sleep.
Something very different, I once was in church for a normal sunday prayer and there was a young girl before me (12-14 years old I'd say) and I'm 100% certain that she was an angel. No halos or wings or anything of the sort, but I just knew it from the moment I'd seen her there. I couldn't even tell why I think she was an angel.
And lastly, I remember a book disappearing from my shelf, it was a book by Goethe that I needed to read for school so I remember rather clearly. It was gone in the afternoon and I found it the next morning, but I'm sure that nobody in my family had taken it - plus, I often lock my door at night.
None were really scary I suppose But worth telling.
