Approximately 24 hours to go. I'll force myself to do something laterish. Hopefully.

Only the highest quality garbage for you, my friends.

Edit: if it seems disjointed and janky, blame the fact I had to trim a couple hundred words from it. This is what I get for trying to include too much in my post.

That marks the end of the first round. New round, pals. No need to wait for "your turn", just go when you're ready.

Tearen will be using 4 SP for the following moves this round:

Quote:Panic Outbreak [Tier 2 Utility Move] (Requires Homing Proficiency, Ranged Attack Proficiency, Debuff Proficiency, Area Attack Proficiency, Telepathy, Enhanced Senses)

Tearen focuses for three seconds, taking no other actions, before gripping the mind of three people he can sense in range of his telepathy, and subjects them to horrifying full-sensory hallucinations for the span of one minute. The exact nature and appearance of the imagery can vary, but the practical effects are that the victims are overcome with panic and are unable to use any power or move that requires focus for the duration of this attack. The hallucinations cannot make any person appear somewhere they are not, nor conceal any combatants, nor 'alter' the basic layout of the battlefield. Though the target may still use simple attacks, they will be rushed and sloppy. Targets with high TEC or Insight may be able to tell the hallucinations are fake, but the images are still vivid enough that they can distract and demoralize with at least partial effectiveness.

Once the duration of this attack is complete, the hallucinations instantly end, but the target may still remain shaken for some time depending on their mental resiliency to abject horror, though this has no practical impact. All targets of this attack share their hallucination, and can 'see' what is happening to the other targets. This Utility can be individually countered with matching Super Defenses.

Quote:Aspects of Divinity [Tier 2 Assist]

Tearen summons five of its Aspects to its side; floating, black, crystalline polygons of various shapes that each glow with a different color of interior light. Tearen can instantly relay mental commands to the Aspects as a group, though they do each have an individual intelligence. The prisms are fast, precise, and can deliver significant damage in the form of piercing energy beams, but their glass-like bodies make them prone to shattering with enough blunt trauma. Most importantly, the Aspects can serve as mobile eyes for Tearen, as the God-Mind can tap in to what any one of them is seeing at any given moment, so long as they are within range of his telepathy.

ATK: 3
DEF: 1
SPD: 3
TEC: 3

Strazio, Gilgamesh and Crocodile can elect to defend against Panic Outbreak if they have matching Super Defenses.

Revised my SP spending back to 4; I will not be using Relativity Shift this round.

I would call, but I need to know Strazio's defense decision before I can.

No, in defense against Panic Outbreak.

Oh. I think you hafta use that at the end of your post. Utilities are a bit weird sometimes, but I believe the general rule is "if it targets a foe and can be Super Defended, it needs to be at the end of the post." At least that's what I read in the rules. Some actual staffer may disagree.

So... regarding Panic Outbreak. It's technically a superutility, but its form follows that of a superattack in that it can be stopped with a superdefense, so the opportunity for a counter needs to be presented. Unless a decision has been made with the other fighters regarding whether or not they're going to counter, I'm going to say it needs to be used at the end of a post.

Amusingly enough, Gilg is the only person who could possibly defend against it anyway. Neither myself nor Straz have a T2 Defense. So, if you'd rather not rewrite, just see what Gil is planning to do.

As for Croc, there's really only one thing that panics him anyway. The possibility of Ivankov spilling the beans on some embarrassing secret. Or just any embarrassing situation, really. Public image is near and dear to his heart.

Well I've got two drafts written up now, so I guess it depends on how Wyatt wants to handle it.

Lemme know, Gilg!
