The end was near. Nathan approached his enemy, the man he swore he would kill if it took his whole lifetime. As his brother closed in, he pulled his sword from his sheathe. "Brother, please, I do not want to kill you. Join me and our countries will rule all of Quotin! Imagine! The whole world under our boots! The power! The-" He was cut off, "shut up," Nathan said calmly. The feeling of sorrow rused in his eyes. "I would never join the vary cause I've worked so hard to destroy. If you value your life, you'll put down you sword and sumbit."
"No." Said his brother, aburptly interupting him, "My path is chosen. And, my journey leads me to your death. Morror commands it." Nathan sighed painfully. "I care not of your god of greed and currpution."
"And, what of yours?"
"Love and benefic." His brother snickered at the response, which led into a hysterical laugh. "Your god-"
"Goddess."
"Right," he said, not caring. "Your goddess of darkness and evil. Such arrogance leads to destruction. You must be terminated."
"Mina, anatawa daisukiyo."
"How touching, now die." The two charged each other at lightning speed as their armies watched the final battle. Every man on the field stopped their fighting, knowing that this would be the end. Which ever king came out breathing won and this pointless war would be over.
Steel clashed and shockwave spewed through the air. Blades moved to fast to comprehend. Clang, clang clang, sounded with every hit. The two were an even match. They clashed blades, holding each other off, the strained the other's blade. "I see you've improved. When you were a kid, you were a dunce when it came to sword play and kendo."
"I was two years less experienced, and I still am. I don't entend on letting you get the advantage, brother." Said Nathan knowing he was less skilled than his older brother. Steel grinded against each sword. Nathan's eyes were locked on his brothers power hungry eyes. "No matter what, I can't let you harm any more innocent people!"
"Just try and stop me!" Screamed his brother, lust hungry. "I have killed all the non-believer to free them from their worthless lives! The should be grateful!" Their grips tensed. "They will be when you're dead!" Both backed off and another shockwave pulsed over the battlefield.
The two stood opposite each other. Nathan's brother grinned. "It's just starting to heat up, isn't?" Nathan stared at his brother, not amused by his question.
"It's time to get this over with. I will use all my power. Kaylee, Dawnika, Autumn, Alex, Ellise, Emery," Nathan mumbled under his breath. "This is all for you. I'll send this son of a bastard to Oblivion." The memories of all his friends deaths came through his thoughts. "For Xenithia, and my friends! Hraghhhh!!! Kage Oni no Gekido!!" The Akame's voice screeched in the air as a black and purple aura surrounded him. The air grew dense, and even his brother shuddered, but not in fear. "This is amazing! We will fight at full power then! Hikari Tenshi no Jouka!" The same intense aura surrounded his brother, his aura lit up white and red. "Your aura is red." Said the Akame. "Your soul is not pure."
"Urusai! You know nothing of purity! Now DIE!" The two charged each other once more. Speed so undefinable all that could be seen was afterimages of the two clashing their swords. Each clash of steel sent surges of power that weighed down every single foot soldier on the field, nearly crushing them from the waves of power. Wings sprouted from each one's auras and the battle went to the sky.
Steel clashed left and right, kicks and punches to each brother from each brother. Nathan was losing, clearly, blood dripped from his arms and head. However, his brother bled from his shoulder as well. "Hm, you injured me. You really have gotten better." He put his hand on his wound and looked down at the blood. "Blood for blood brother. You have taken the lifes of every single one of my friends in the sake of your god. That is unforgivable." The two charged again.
After many clashes of steel, Nathan was kicked straight to the ground, the battle seemed over. Nathan couldn't stand anymore. His brother landed a few meters in front of him. "Well, history just repeats itself. Looks like I win again, this will be the last time."
"Y-You bastard...I will...Ki-" Blood flew from Nathan's mouth as he attempted to talk. "I can't lose..."
"You are worthless," said his brother. Nathan's heart skipped a beat. He had told him this in their last kendo match before the two were parted. The two young kids had finished sparring, and obviously his brother had won. He was unammused at his brother's skill level, demanding a stronger sparring opponent. Nathan's friend's face appeared in his mind, then their deaths.
Feelings of rage and emotional distress overtook the Akame. His aura exploded into power. In quick reaction, his brother backed off, amazed at Nathan's power. "What the hell?! Where did you get this power?! You were nearly dead!" The now emotionless being stood looking at his brother. He was complete darkness, not even assuming a human form anymore. The fullblood let out a blood curdling scream that pierced through the air sharper than his newly fashioned claws.
All of a sudden, Nathan moved faster than his brother could predict. A stright shot from the Akame's huge fist landed on the Solmiir. He was sent back yards, flying in somersaults. When he finally hit the ground the Akame monster was already on it's next attack. It kicked him straight into the ground, making a crater the size of a pool in the earth. Blood flew into the air like a mist. "Fuck! Brother! Stop!" Nathan picked his brother up by his skull and stared into his eyes. "Know the pain of those you have killed. Feel their sorrow, regret, and anger. That is what I am. The feelings of all those lives you took, including those of my friends. Die now, in fear."
"I would...never...fear......y-you.." The spectators of the fight watched as the blackened monster smashed it's brother's head into a puddle of blood and bone into the ground. He stood and the blackness faded, returning to his normal appearance. "Solmiir! Listen well. Retreat from my country and don't return. You have a day or I will begin to exterminate you. Leave!" He didn't need to tell them that twice. The all scattered in retreat, running in fear.
"My friends...I apologize that you could not see this day for yourselves. I did not let your memories fade. You will always be remembered for your sacrifices. In honor of your memories, I will live my life. I love you all." Nathan sheathed his sword, buried his brother and returned to the capital of his country.
"No." Said his brother, aburptly interupting him, "My path is chosen. And, my journey leads me to your death. Morror commands it." Nathan sighed painfully. "I care not of your god of greed and currpution."
