Pale Moors Hogwarts Express
#1
So its been known for some time now I plan on founding Hogwarts in the Pale Moors.

My question of no doubt some discussion would be what would be involved in setting up a train station that leads to all three pale moor gates (excluding the underverse) for transit to an from said gates at regular intervals? Like could it be an addendum to Tom acquiring a recall station or a teleporter or both?

I mean. You could have Tom build a railroad (that's actually a fun idea), but you'd have to find bodies to guard it. The Pale Moors isn't exactly the nicest place and you're talking about a lot of ground to be covered.

Well I could make it part bug zapper. But yeah.... I see what you mean. Shame that mobs spawn on rails. I may be better off going the floo network idea instead. So then I'll ask this instead. Can a recall station be set to accept people from specific locations even if they aren't on the guest list?

From the rules:
Quote:As long as you've synced with the recall station once in person, you can simply get in touch via your Communicator and be warped back home.

So, I dunno what you mean about "not being on the list", but it can only bring people to you who have already been there.

Well outposts and secondaries can have communicators soooo if you hook up a stationary communicator to the recall device, you could do that for whoever has the access to said station. Or at least that's my logic.

But then again instant travel is a bit boring in a lot of ways. May go hogwarts express.

People can't sync the recall for you. You must sync it yourself, in person first, before being able to use it.

The Hogwarts express it is. Would it be something I'd need faction recognition kinds of influence to pull off?

To construct a train system for the Moors?

Nope, just write out the story. Put in the work. In fact, doing so will probably earn you some recognition in the verse.

Realize something like this would be quite a feat and take time to complete.

Also I need to point out the obvious, in that you will first need to find the other gates in the Pale Moors that aren't the Nexus gate. They may not be that easy to find, which is a thing to keep in mind.

So the other gates aren't well known. Well may have to fix that. After all Tom is all about stamping out mediocrity

Over time it might be possible, but probably not alone. You'd be facing a lot of demons and other things. And it'd be huge and time intensive and take a lot of IC omnilium.
Curious about me and the characters I play? See the 'Staff' page! See also the rosters for my characters Samus Aran or Enel if you'd like to see examples of well-formatted rosters. Hope you enjoy the Omniverse!
