Fortnight of hellish busyness

I mentioned this a couple times in the chatbox, but I am currently very busy with work and moving house (they decided to give me 12 hour shifts for 6 out of 7 days the same week I'm moving) so don't expect a lot out of me this week. The week after is slightly less hectic, and then afterwards I'm going to have a lot more free time.

I have heard 2 definitions for fortnight; 20 and 40 days. After a quick google search I would like to point out that both the people trying to educate me on unorthodox units of time measurement are mistaken and that a fortnight equals 2 weeks. Which was new knowledge to me. It might be to any reading this. Just thought it bore mentioning since I never heard the correct definition in 18 years of life.

Hang in there, Omni. It's only 14 days of hell. At least you'll be in a new house at the end of it!

Today brings yet more complications. I think the universe is putting me through a gauntlet or something.

40 fortnight? Well, using Omniverse time it makes sense.

I live in a granny-flat at my mother's (paying rent). My sister, her husband, their 3 kids and a kelpie/heeler cross dog (basically a mongrel cattle-dog) are moving in while my sister's place gets sold. 7 people in a 4 bedroom place, and one of the rooms was being used as a computer room/ library/ storage area.
My mother and I and not giving up out bedrooms.

So, I may have a slight appreciation of flexible scheduling when moving.

To tag onto this, I'm going to be in France visiting family (god damn it) from 1st to 8th of April. I'll have sporadic internet. You'll have to keep yourselves entertained Anyone that wants to help out during this quiet period with some advertising would be much appreciated.

While nothing as terrible as Greg, I probably won't have much free time from now-ish until mid-April. Work's getting busier and busier and I've yet to acclimate to increased stress levels.

The fortnight is over. Still gotta go to France on the 1st, but I got my life back, hopefully permanently.

On this note, sorry for the nearly week long hiatus I took. I've been helping the wife out more with the twins, as they're crawling now and trying to stand/walk. And the teething stuff. So I've been super busy. With any luck, I'll be able to get on a little more often from now on.
