If you are blocking the move without seeing it yourself, then yes. However, if you cannot see the attack and your character does not know the attack is coming, foresight is required to effectively block or dodge the move. But remember, this is only with a moments notice.

Mmm, not clear to me.
Foresight 'is' detection. Foresight gives you a kind of 'seeing' the attack in question. Take this situation (a simple yes/no would answer what I need just fine ^^). A sniper Desco can't see aims at her, and fires.2 seconds before the bullet hits, she does Foresight it. Could I then use a blocking move to defend without Foresight being in the move's descriptor? Maybe this is all.. superfluous since Desco does not have any speed.

@Desco; The move, in this situation, is using foresight.
It may not be required but, for clarity, it is always good to include it as a requirement in any move you wish to use in conjunction with Foresight (where foresight includes detect and blocking/ reacting to other attacks).

Mmmm, this takes too much back and forth. One last thing. Wouldn't that be like saying Desco would need Enchanced Senses on her Fire Ice and Wind moves to hit things that she can Enchanced Sense but not normal sense?
I mean, that is sorta how it works out. |
