So just a word of warning

So a word about who I am. I won't reveal my name, some things are just too personal and too dangerous. You can call me the Withering Rogue, Rogue or if you must call me by a name... Its Chiei Shikaze... for those of you from worlds with asianic elements, try translating that and be amused at how awesome or lame I am.

Suffice it to say I am like all of you, a prime who got sucked into this fucking mess without a way out. Traded one crapsack world for another. But that's not just who I am. I'm a scientist first, a killer second and a pacifist third. Don't worry if that confuses you, even on a good day it confuses me as well.

On my blog I’ll be exploring the physical, supernatural and metaphysical aspects of what Omnilium is, how it interacts with omnilium extracted from other owners and what can be done with it. There will be philosophy, ramblings, angst, pain and more than a little bit of psychedelic technobabble that will only make sense to me unless your versed in the specific sciences of my world or if its similar to yours.

To save your head from exploding I’ll give you one fact about myself and my identity. I’m from the Elemental Nations, Hi no Kuni or the Land of Fire. This means I may reference the following terms a lot. Chakra. Inner Coil System. Jutsu, better known as Techniques. Tenketsu. Elemental Affinity. And probably a few more that I can’t remember off the top of my head. Point is I’m writing this blog for myself first, I’ll try and make some subjects translatable to other systems as I come across them but I’m so steeped in the mathematics of fuuinjutsu (See?) and the art of creating ninjutsu (again…) that its innate to me.

I’ll do what I can but I just got to the omniverse so I’m still discovering things on my own. I’ve met a few people scarily enough and a lot of them seem to be my age or younger (I’m 15 years old) which my years match what I can gather is called Earth Prime’s calendar. 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, months vary between 28 and 31 days. Its eerie how many worlds I’ve researched match this particular dating scheme and astronomical orbit through a solar system. Hell the fact that humanity has populated that many different universes and still come out biologically compatible that makes me think that whoever designed the multiverse is a Human or some alien abomination has a really screwed up sense of humor.

I mean seriously? Humanity is one of the most fucked up species I’ve ever come across, and I’m one of them. We destroy the planet we live on, we murder each other regularly. Dear Sage, do I even need to spell it out more plainly than that? To inflict us upon one planet is bad enough but to send us across the entire multiverse to destroy, rape, molest, and reproduce is a crime greater than I can possibly think of.

Also to those non-human out there I apologize in advanced for any egocentric speciest comments I make. My planet has tons of intelligent animals known as spirits, or as shinobi call them, Summons but by nature its quid quo pro system where often they are more subservient to us. It has engendered me quite a bit and I’ve only just started meeting other humanoids, and even non-humanoid lifeforms. It’s all very confusing and frankly half the time I’m a hair’s breadth from accidently killing someone on sight because usually if you see a non-human being in my reality, they are about to rip your face off. I’m trying to do better but it’s not easy breaking fifteen years of survival training and a half a millennia of engrained dogma.

I’m sure as this blog progresses (or doesn’t) I’ll give more and more away about myself on purpose or inadvertently. Just because I’m a genius doesn’t mean I’m not mostly human. I make mistakes, I make typos, a lot of them, but more than anything else I do what all humans do and that’s shake things up.

I wish I was some Go, or as you Western Elements call Chess, Master but I’m not. The game doesn’t do it for me and I’m incapable of manipulating anyone though sometimes I dearly wish I could. So what do I do, I explore and shred the very fabric of reality for answers and so far what can I tell you?

Omni is lying to us.

Or maybe its being deceitful by omission. Either way something about this Omniverse is not right. He enforces balance on all our powers and forces us to collect OM to survive, to ‘amuse’ him. Either he’s a child or he doesn’t want us to learn the truth. Or maybe his consciousness cannot convey words in a way that are close enough to our understanding that the truth is lost. Either way we are missing key facts.

Question: Why does he give us starter omnilium?

Sure we definitely need it. For most us we are dragging along our entire universe’s systems of sciences or as some call it magic. Furthermore we gain omnilium randomly, or perhaps just erratically. Have an in-depth conversation for a few hours, you could gain enough units to build a powerful weapon or reenable to cosmic power you had back in your home universe. Have that same conversation with someone else and you get maybe a fraction of a unit.

After some experimentation (and getting next to no OM) I’ve devised a means of calculating the amount we have. I’m sure other scientists have noticed the same thing. Our currency is based off of it. The Omnilium Pence is the smallest possible unit of Omnilium.

Think of it as an Atom of sorts or an Element.

Anyways I’ve determined that you get exactly 5000 units of Omnilium and going from my experiences and the few others I’ve talked to, the most you gain the quickest is usually in your first hours in the verse when your most focused on not trying to fuck up and stay alive.

Put one foot in front of the other and soon you are swimming in Omnilium… or what seems to be a lot to you but is a pittance to more experienced versewalkers.

Anyways back to the point of this first post.

Why does Omni give us this start seed?

I call it a seed because it’s exactly that, a seed. Sure you can gain my by killing, looting, digging or raping and murdering some poor helpless soul and then extract it from their cold dead corpse. But that disgusting as fuck.

Omnilium will grow from that starter seed based on two primary principles, maybe three though I haven’t quite proven it to myself enough to post that up.

Hypothesis: Perspective and Interaction shape and grow the nature and affinity of Omnilium

That’s right, take a minute here and imagine that your omnilium you first receive is a seed. Now imagine that by working and interacting with people helps it mature and grow. Suddenly if fate is on your side you could have a lot more. I’ve found this produces a lot of Omnilium but not as much as I’d like. But it generates more for a group than it does for the individuals of the group?

If 1+1=2 for an individual alone, then 1+1=.5 for the individual as part of a group but if that group has nine or ten people apart of it, they could in total produce upwards of 15 or 20 units of omnilium. Wild huh?

Now for the second bit of what seems to reliably generate Omnilium, perspective. Or rather that annoying internal monologue that we primes to seem to enjoy so much. Yes I’m look at you people who especially love writing in the first person. If you are able to sit back and take a few minutes or hours to examine a concept or earnestly try to understand something and then make use of it, you’ll more than likely find your seed of Omnilium will grow accordingly with no sign of where it came from since you obviously didn’t extract it from the ground or that corpse you just HAPPENED to come across.

Problems: While I say these two methods reliably generate omnilium, I do mean that, but not always. Again its very erratic. Maybe it has to do with novelty. Remember when Omni said you’re here for his amusement. Not those exact words specifically but that’s the general gist.

Part of me suspects that Omnium grows due to novelty. Something unique inherent to you. That’s where I say omnilium gains affinity for a person who owns its because it seems that repeatedly doing the same action has diminishing returns. As if it’s getting bored, or Omni himself is getting bored experiencing the same thing over and over again and that lack of growth is his way of tell you to get your ass in gear and do something new and exciting.

Scary? For all I know he’s right here in me experiencing this as I’m writing it and the novelty that I have for writing my first blog post is what is causing my omnium to steadily rise like a rocket.

So the question remains…

Supposition: Is Omni using us to farm Omnilium seeds?

If he is no one has noticed it. Though do note that people (I haven’t experienced it yet) often recover omnilium from their conjurations and summonings at a loss. Roughly half of you OM is lost when you recover or exchange on conceptual item for another.

Maybe that’s Kaguya taking her due… or that Omni harvesting his daily meal and growing in power in response to our experiencing novelty. Frankly I’m not sure I want to know but the scientist in me tells me that its important to figure out what happens to the lost OM.

It also tells me that we stand no chance of ever gaining enough Omnilium to ever challenge him since there are literally thousands of primes feeding him every second they dispel, dismiss or destroy something. In many cases they’ll recover most if not all of their OM, but that does not mean they gain all of it back. Frankly I’m suspect Omni can split the OM Atom well beyond the smallest units of measurement that we can use. Most of the time its not enough for us to even notice since our Omnilium seed grows in those instances to hide the difference.

The only time he seems to really take a chunk out of our stock is when he’s punishing us by giving up a major aspect. And by major I mean something we’ve invested a lot of Omnilium in.

That is if he is actually harvesting it at all…

But that one’s hard to prove.

Summoning, its something I hadn't known about until recently. Then again I didn't know about the omniverse up until punched me in the face and took me for a ride like some drunken brothel bride.

Yeah that's a think in my verse. Don't ask.

Anyways we are talking about summoning and difficulty of such. For some and I'm looking specifically at high echelon primes; there is little in the way that stops from from summoning entire populations. So where do they come from? What are they?

These beings are known as Secondaries and often there are some inherent difficulties when creating them. For those who are Secondaries, I appologize, your plight at our hands is entirely atrocious but even for your sake's I must make blunt terms of it for the sake of research

I say create because their capabilities seem oddly specialized toward the Prime who summons them. And I also say create because conjuring them from the aether doesn't seem trace directly to an major expenditure of omnilium. Its seems more like we are causing circumstance within the Omniverse to wish them into being. Something is different in process, the seed of omnilium we impart onto them doesn't grow which only reinforces my belief that the starter omnilium we are reborn with is different from what is found in those we summon.

Since I've learned how to summon people and things I've experimented with using larger quantities of Omnilium to produce people from my history or no history at all. I've had no luck and apart from being creeped out at similar they are to some of the forbidden arts of Nidaime Hokage developed.

Question: Why can't I use more than a single pence of omnilium to bring a secondary into being?

Apart from not having 5000 units of free omnilium at the moment I suspect there is a key difference between the Mad God and myself. Maybe at a certain point the accumulated wealth of omnilium reaches some sort of critical mass which it starts forming seeds which can grow on their own.

However what strikes me is that Omni seems to randomly summon Primes at intervals that follows no real pattern. Sometimes consecutively other times there are long gaps between them. Apparently I appeared after a dry spell followed suddenly by an influx of a few individuals or so. It explains the lack of Empire and Kingdom personnel respectively

Is there some sort of plan or agenda behind the timing or is there a limit to a number of primes that can be added to the verse at a given time? If Omnilium needs to reach critical mass before it becomes a seed then I say yes there is a limit due to how omnilium may be harvested.

Question: If Omni is using us to grow omnilium what is he using it for?
I've asked this question in my previous post, but now that I think about it a bit more what if its not just his food, though it may still be that. But think about the universe you came from. How big is it?

Big? No bigger than that? Could you see the moon and the sun?

Yes you can do that from your current verses now, but can you go to them?

Think about it. How big is the omniverse compared to your home verse?

The world I came from had just begun touching the stars again. I say again because some people believe that thousand of years ago before the time of Rabbit Goddess Kaguya in the era of Samurai we had technology that matched our own or greater. Evidence for such in our ruins is scarce but I've uncovered a few hints. But right as I was making plans to escape my world, we had just launched our first lunar lander. Probes had escaped our gravity well before.

Can we do that now? No. Our verses have borders, sometimes we don't even have access to whole planets. Coruscant is rare exception of a whole planet but you can't go into space, at the moment.

Supposition: What if the Omni is using the Omnilium grown by Primes to produce material to expand his universe?

The rate at which we produce omnilium is significant. The rate a which we lose it is equally great but not greater. In my tme since I joined the verse, I've managed to create 50% of my original stock. So think about it, on a given day we are producing the stuff faster as we lose it from minor activities but in time frame of days or weeks we manage to usually double the total amount that we started from.

Unless we are actually drawing the stuff from Omni himself (and potentially weakening him, which I doubt) we are producing MASSIVE amounts of omnilium which far exceeds the amount needed to constitute our mass.

Remember how much omnilium needed to create secondaries and minor items without potential? A pence, maybe a little more. This shows us that the ratio of mass to omnium to create just base materials even in highly organized patterns is microscopic.

Now think of all that omnilium that primes use and amass and eventually lose when they unsummon and extract any particular secondary or construct. Yeah. Between a handful of primes that's enough omnilium to produce planets. Might be enough to for Omni or a group of us to summon a small solar system if we have enough patience and resources and the process of even trying could net us more omnilium to do so.

I don't pretend to know everything. I can't. Too new. But it strikes me that the amount of what we can create far exceeds what we are using OM for. Namely weapons, techniques, reacquainting ourselves with our lost powers. All that energy that could be put towards a better use like literally build a planet from the ground up.

I remember a post from Prime who mentioned being from a verse that had stretched throughout the stars using jump points and had mastered terraforming to the point where they had a project called 'Synthworld'. A world constructed from scratch to eventuallybe habitable and, at the time he was taken by the Mad God, was looking quite promising.

What is the one thing we want as both primaries and secondaries? Most of us want to go home, the others of us want to escape away from wars of the Empire and Kingdom. The potential to leave this mad world is probably impossible but like Coruscant, the potential is there for us to rebuild our homelands in some fashion and its possibly a lot easier than we suspect if we work together.

Also starting today I'm asking for donation of words. If you can summon up a book from your world and donate them to me I would greatly appreciate. I want to start a digital library for all to access and view. There is a wealth of culture and technology from our home verses that when combined may be greater than the sum of the parts.

Books I'm looking for are specifically the ones with bibliographies that cite the names and creators of other books as well, but I won't turn down fictions and the like. Anything and everything. If you are a secondary and have a Prime you can trust, they can assist you in summoning said books as well if you remember enough lines and passages from it to give them a reference that to latch on to.

So I started my last post and completely forgot a plot point I meant to cover.

But also I'd like to release a retraction, apparently one of my readers tried to have several books summoned by a prime friend. Unfortunately they were only mildly successful, of the attempt books only two were successful, one was novel that was apparently shared by both verses but only one had read, and the second was book on general physics which both had knowledge of but neither read. Definitely will need to research this more thoroughly but I do thank the commitment and the books.

Like I said, I'm mostly human. I make mistakes, but this one is one I plan to rectify them whenever they crop up.

I mentioned in my first post that omnilium seems to gain nature and affinity to the people who own it. The process of extracting it seems to reprogram it for the person who extracts it. Usually at a loss.

By now you probably know where I suspect where that loss goes but for right now lets ignore that. The fact is that after you extract omnilium its much more reasonable to use and less likely to resist being converted to something else.

So let's cover the basics.

Primes can do the following; they can summon or rather conjure object. Summoning implies drawing and moving something from somewhere else. There is no evidence that secondaries, sorry, and items are removed from a point in a timeline or ever existed. This was tested diligently with using a mouse of various ages before moving on to a right bastard from my past who had a venture in trafficking children.

Suffice to say I believe with decent certainty that primes create rather than move for the most part and I suspect Omni does similar with Primes themselves which I'll be testing as soon as an opportunity presents itself. For more reading search for a book the monotruth. It's a bit preachy for my taste but that can be forgiven due to the diligence that I suspect that went into its creation.

The Balance. I ran into this within my first few minutes of being brought into being in the Omniverse. The moment I could move I was trying to find the familiar in my surrounds and unfortunately the techniques I use to do that were prohibited at the time most still are. Despite having knowledge of my universe and how it works and how our seed of Omnilium carries a portion of those physics, the Balance ensures stability. The more OM you dedicate towards yourself the more it seems to less of a grasp of restraining a person.

I suspect however that it is to some degree sentient in what it determines a prime can do to affect the omniverse in a manner of their home verse. While we have no control over what we seemingly start with, it does appear to learn and adapt to us as soon as we decide what we need. It may also be responsible for our innate understanding of how to manipulate omnilium.

This adaptation also seems to be part of what limits our ability to summon things from other verses. The more we use it for our own the more it becomes locked in that cycle. Though there are stories where the local verse we are in can in some ways aid us in situations where summoning is more consistent with the verse than our own personal history.

Again it seems some sort of Balance is struck.

What are the limits of this?

I for one have heard of universes with differing periodic tables of elements. What happens when those interact? That’s a particular interest to me. We hear things like neutronium, vibranium, gravitonium, element zero, etc etc. What happens when two elements fill the same position in their respective sciences and you alloy them together?

Unfortunately my own world seems to be relatively consistent with Prime Earth. Though we do have the means of reshaping elements using chakra so they have new features and properties, but that’s more of a situation where we are adding unique energies to a system rather than changing the innate properties of the same.

This is why I suspect the secrets to our future are mapping out the differences and exploiting them.

But what I really want to know about is this… supercollider thing that a few of you mentioned in my first post. Moving particles at or near the speed of life crashing them together? Sounds like a grand time and it makes me want to see what raw omnilium un-natured would do.

Well if you saw the blog in the previous post you know now I just murdered a replica of my own personality that I was attempting to upload to the Dataverse. Well murder is putting it… harshly. It was an AI with my memories in it. Or at least I think it was.

As an experimentor and a lady of the sciences I was never above using myself or splinters of myself as test subjects. It more moral than using other people.

It seems however there is in fact another layer to the Dataverse. The bandwidth that our communicators and Mobile Dataverse devices transmit on is totally and completely massive. They barely use a fraction of it. A droplet of water is what we use and just toss it into a river that feeds an ocean.

When I first learned of these mobile devices by colleague of mine, was I was enchanted by the similarities to my own home technology. When I tested it and began the process of duplicating such things I learned more and began to suspect much more. The biggest thing about communicators is that they can literally pierce the veil of the verses with enormous ease. This may have something to do with the fact that they are constructed from omnilium or the signals themselves are a purer form of energy or more primitive version of what omnilium used to be.

Yes there seems to be a limit to how small you can make omnilium but what if that material has constituent parts. Subatomic particles.

In my world there was a very simplistic formula that described this process to some degree.

E=MC^2 created by the Sage himself who discovered the means of converting stamina into chakra. Granted his writings on such formulae aren’t well known and his was much more complex, it was only recently that it was simplified to take the Spiritual components out, but the true of the matter is, energy and matter are interchangeable.

What does this mean for Omnlium?

Hard to say, it seems to be both and neither. But communicators don’t seem to lose mass so unless they are feeding off of expended OM in a manner I suspect Omni doing then I’d like to say there is some process that creates energy that in great enough quanities comprises Omnilium… or-

Or perhaps the Omnilium pence isn’t the smallest state it can take but whatever Balances us prevents us from producing microscopic materials easily and needs some sort of intermediary to do the same thing.

But the point remains, there is a way to traverse dimensions that separate the verses. If singles can do it then perhaps chakra can do so as well. It worked, mostly. I was able to route chakra through my communicator and into the Dataverse Mobile. Unfortunately somewhere my code fucked up or chakra has a lot more data contained within in than even I ever realized.

But with some more experimentation I expect I’ll be able to determine a way to directly enter the Omniverse. Right now it looks like I’ll be limited to VR once I find a means to stabilize my code and my items.

So I’m taking a quick divergence from the normal course of discussion today. After thinking of about the things I’ve covered… they’ve been dealing with more energy than matter. This has me thinking on the very nature of chakra. Does Omnilium allow me to produce chakra, or am I converting omnilium directly into chakra in a process similar to how it worked in my homeworld?

I won’t be answering that particular question today.

Unfortunately I keep on running into a single flaw in all my assumptions, I’m assuming E=MC^2 and the Laws of Thermodynamics are consistent when they are not.

I recently ran across an ice user. What they had, managed to broke both of those laws. To put it frankly entropy isn’t consistent. Part of why the Sage’s own original formula are so important even today is because his uses measurements of spiritual energy as a fuel source while technology only needs the simplified version.

Many theorize the extra energy required to generate mass and give it nature is pulled from some sort of spiritual realm that our own minds have access to, hat grows with our experience. In essence the more we grow, the more bandwidth our chakra has to hold spiritual energy and the more experience we gain, the more spiritual information we can fill that chakra with to make it more efficient.

Here? I don’t need that.

My body in its current state shouldn’t be able to handle the amount of power I’m outputting and more to the point it’s getting better at doing so. While my spiritual energy hasn’t changed all that much (beyond having to overcome a huge world and perspective shift which in itself has given me a boost) the degree has been altered that significantly.

My own body is violating the Sage’s Laws of the Conservation of Ninjutsu. IE that a body can only bring as much chakra of a physical nature to bear as it has stamina to power it. Its why smaller weaker people generally find themselves as sensors or genjutsu users, those of us with high spiritual power but lower stamina are able to easily power the arts the lean towards the mental side of things. There are exceptions such as Jinchuuriki but that gets into fuuinjutsu physics which requires the understanding of four dimensional space and lots and lots of math.

Back to the ice user. When you freeze something the heat has to go somewhere. When I saw this guy work, he not only conjured freezing cold materials (which is easy, conjure mass without putting energy into warming it up and you get super cold stuffs) but also some sort of energy that is cold.

I’ve studied the history and the science behind the Yuki clan… but the way they worked was when they froze something, their chakra absorbed the heat which was then disbursed with the chakra’s remnants Natural Chakra cycle. This process is in part the basis how fuuinjutsu works but it isn’t so limited to just energy or making ice cubes.

This Ice user as far as I could tell had no such process. Though without my lab or equipment, its not as accurate as I’d like. It was almost like magic. Magic however is an expression of physics which is poorly understood, once understood it’s no longer magic but rather a science.

So you’re asking why does this matter?

Balance. That force that exists within omnilium and us that seems to make everything work and yet works against us when we get too uppity.

I submit that if the four primary forces are part of the fabric of this reality (The Magnetic Force, The Gravitational Force, The Strong and Weak Forces) then the Force of Balance is the underpinning of the entire omniverse. It’s a dimension or perhaps verse that encapsulates all of Omni’s individual verses into the Omniverse.

Just like matter is an expression and fluctuation of the Electromagnetic Field, I think Omnilium may be the same of Balancing Force. In which case I may have been both right and wrong in how Omnilium can become anything. Since if Omnilium can become matter and matter is of the Electromagnetic… and considering how pliable Omnilium is in what it becomes. What if Omnilium is an extrusion of this outer dimension into our world and the more you collect of it the more it extrudes into the verse.

Also note I’m simplifying this significantly for myself and for my readers, but if you need proof of what I say know this, that photons in enough amounts produce heat correct? Did you know there is an upper limit of temperature? Get enough heat in one place and eventually it stops getting hotter and start gaining mass instead. Weird huh?

I’m thinking that’s how omnilium might work. Or at least I’m suspecting it’s similar.

Maybe that 5000 omnilium isn’t seed but rather that after it gains that much density omnilium flows more easily through whatever process extrudes it into the Verse. The on the other Balance is still somewhat mystical but of Omnilium can become anything why not become sentience if it isn’t just Omni himself?

Again this is all purely speculation.

I do that a lot until something sticks. And in this case, something has. It begs the question. Practically screams it.

Can we build a gate to this reservoir of untouched Omnilium and if it’s truly outside the verses, is it subjected to our tampering like it is when in our verses? I don’t know but I’d like to find out. Then again for all I know, I could be right about both theories, Omnilium being a seed and a window, and all that missing OM that we lose when extracting and dismissing things is actually flowing back into the Balance verse.
