TEC Multiplier
#41
No colored name here, so dun take my word over the other people's, but I'll just butt in on this:

From what I understood TEC is... well, the skill in combat. Moves that require skill and experience are based off TEC because they're worthless when used by an amateur. For instance, anyone can wield a sword, but they won't be able to do elaborate parry-and-counter techniques and rather be limited to stabs and swings. A seasoned warrior (high TEC) will use the full potential of that sword without being physically stronger or faster (ATK/SPD respectively).

Abilities such as Telekinesis or a magic spell obviously would require skill because not everyone can read a book and instantly cast the hardest spells - that's why Harry & friends go to school rather than being given a book with all the spells and that's it. "Le-VIO-Sa" anyone?

So in conclusion:
ATK and TEC = greater accuracy at a distance, more elaborate sword tricks, hitting weakspots, martial arts like Karate...
DEF and TEC = properly defending, positioning yourself so your armor takes more hits, deflecting blows...
SPD and TEC = dodging, Matrix-style leaning back, flips and acrobatics, moving fast but in less tiring ways...
"(Note to self: insert quote & picture once I find stuff)"

This has been comprehensively answered, so I'm locking.
Curious about me and the characters I play? See the 'Staff' page! See also the rosters for my characters Samus Aran or Enel if you'd like to see examples of well-formatted rosters. Hope you enjoy the Omniverse!
