Also, This plot is now at its Half-way point! or quarter depending on how things go. I still want to acknowledge Darkseid's presence a bit more. Maybe intertwine the plots together? I would like you guys's thoughts on it. Darkseid showing up had so much epic potential, and what better place to have it than the place that closely resembles Apokolypse? Think of this as a checkpoint, you all are free to move towards whatever you need to do. Bowser will not move from his next position for a while, and the party will know exactly where to find him.

I got mixed feelings on Darkseid at this point. It was cool to mix together the two bits of chaos in the Steppes, but I think he's blown over a bit. I actually don't even see him as an approved NPC anymore, even. Not to say we can't work something out with him if we want, but I think he's just small potatoes at this point.

If we're taking a break for the tournament, that's totally fine by me, and I might try and slide a quest in as Zack to build our street cred with the Koopas. Although Nealaphh did mention that this plot is going to help him serve as a lead in for his Volvagia stuff. Looks like he has a bit more to do before he can get started, so we probably won't run the risk of overlapping.

I'll be writing the wrap up post for the current thread in just a bit. Nothing fancy, just a closer.

I understand how you feel about the darksied thing, though I really hate to see something started, only to stop once it had gotten a very very strong participation. Also, the events that were supposedly happening did influence how the bandits are acting, they know something big is out there, and are trying their best to work around it and fulfill their goal without attracting its attention.

However, it doesn't haaave to be darksied, though someone who knows of darksied's name and are able to control large masses of weak minded grunts like koopas would be necessary (you know, to convence them that he or she IS darkseid) to replace him here.

I totally see what you mean, since we sort of platformed off of it. We might need to get creative, with Darkseid being basically swept away and Flash having completely rebooted his character. There's no trace of that event left almost, but you're right in that we can't suddenly ignore it. Luckily, we're a pretty smart bunch. We'll make it work.

hmmmm Miranda and the gang will have heard of the colliseum event and assume one or more of you would have left for the tournament. To be honest I/we need Neal's input here regarding his plot. If he's holding on that I'd probably say split up here or take a "side-quest" for those still here. If any of you have read Frostfire, then you know of the massacre in North Village. Basically Miranda will want to go take a looksie for herself. Those still sticking around can fill free to tag-a-long

The bottom line is that Drake needs to have a conversation with Bowser to try and cut a deal for reinforcements at Death Mountain. I was planning for Bowser agreeing to support once the dragon bandits are taken care of, but when the latter specifically happens is up to you, Frost.

ah i see. SO this this arc will lead on to the Volvagia arc? didn't think about it this way. Hmm mmkay, the majority of the peeps seem to have stayed, sooo i guess we can keep going. I see maybe 2-3 threads left in this story arc?

We got permission to use Bowser, but I just brought us to right before we see him. I figure Nealaphh and Colonel are comfortable using Bowser given their positions, here, but I also totally didn't ask you guys. I can use him when my next post comes around, just let me know the basics to cover, Miranda.

Yeah, that's gonna be a bit complicated. I might need a staffer to play Bowser so that Drake can make the deal for the Institute without me just basically declaring that the Koopa Kingdom is gonna assist at Death Mountain.
