Due to the confusion in the quick questions, I am moving this topic here. I was going over the Coruscant info, when I noticed that neither Pepsiman nor the Omniverse News Network had any info present on the sticky for Coruscant info. As it turns out PepsiCo does belong in Coruscant, but no one is too sure about the News Network.

It states, on Ron Burgand's roster that his whereabouts are unknown, but I am not talking about Ron. The Omniverse News Network should have a physical news station, so where would this establishment be located?

I ask because I had intended to land Ms. Marvel a journalist gig at the station.

I always assumed that ONN, given the nature of it's reporting, was sort of above the Coruscant/Camelot conflict. From all that I could understand from reading through ONN info and posts, Ron is the central figure of the network. So it seems like wherever he's at, so is the main ONN HQ. Given that ONN has some pretty crazy tech, like the crystals that he can use to interview anyone anywhere, Coruscant doesn't seem like the place they'd be, otherwise the Empire would be pretty actively attempting to take them over so they could use that to turn the whole Omniverse into Tier 1. Which makes me think that not only is Ron hidden away, but so is the entire ONN operation.

But, I'm so obviously not staff.

I don't want assumptions at this point, as they won't do me any good for my future plotting and planning with Ms. Marvel. This is kind of the problem I was having in the quick questions. I need a solid answer here, not guess work, so please, if you don't with 100% clarity know the ruling on this, let someone who does take care of it.

I appreciate the help, but sometimes topics get derailed with 'ifs', 'possibles', and 'could be's.

Also, Ron's just the face of the ONN. Why would they call it a Network if it was just Ron Burgandy? That doesn't make sense. Am I the only one that does not see the point in having the News Station not be tangible? By doing so, we just restrict any creativity surrounding the Network. Example: My wanting to have Ms. Marvel work as a journalist, but can't because... it doesn't exist... Lame lol...

Would it be at all possible to have your character work for the ONN as a freelance Journalist? If so, how would one go about doing so?

Okay, how about this idea. Ms. Marvel sees an ad on the dataverse about the ONN looking to hire freelance journalist. The position is strictly telecommuting, meaning she would email in her assignments to the network. Wala, she works for them but never visits. Would this be acceptable?
