Welcome to another edition of the Community Accolades!

Simply put, the Accolades involve nominating (and later, voting for) those who have outdone themselves in a particular area each month. For variety's sake, the categories for each month may be different.

You have until the end of the month to nominate your choices. After that, we will proceed to the voting phase where members will vote among the two individuals with the most nominations for each category. The only exception is if someone manages to get 5+ more nominations than the runner-up, in which case that person becomes the winner by default.

If you wish to participate, think of who stood out the most in a particular category this month and post your choice, along with a 2-3 sentence long explanation, in this thread. You are not barred from nominating your own characters, nor do you have to fill out all the categories.

The winners will become this month's "Community Stars" and will receive a blue user title in recognition of their achievement.

So, without further ado, here are the categories:

‘Best’ Character – Which character has you engaged the most?

‘Best’ Writer – Which writer wowed you the most?

Most Helpful – A staffer or a member who gave you amazing feedback on a story or was simply there to help you sort out some of your problems.

Rising Star – Which up-and-coming member stands at the crème of the crop? (must have joined within the last month and a half OR have less than 8000 OM)

'Best' Storyline – What story has had you the most engaged and entertained? (Don't nominate the Secondary Saga, give someone else the spotlight)

Purple Ribbon - Consider this a bonus category for nominating someone who, while they may not be the best and have all the twitter followers, you believe deserves to be recognized for what they bring the the Omniverse. (The winner must be a DIFFERENT person than last month's winner)

Dude has been crazy helpful over the past month. Awesome staff pick for sure.

'Best' Storyline: Half-Devil vs. Zanpakuto
Good thread, fun fight, worth a read.

Rising Star: Jade Harley
Yo, the kickass ways she's bringing new material to the Dataverse and just generally being a cool person deserve attention.

I might come back for the others when I've had more time to think.

‘Best’ Character – As of yet I have nothing for this category. As I haven't been up to date with the site, I haven't been able to snoop around for this.

‘Best’ Writer – Same as above.

Most Helpful – Minato/Ed: Personally I have yet to require much assistance from this hero, but I have seen him rushing around the site like a frigging hurricane and assisting players left right and centre.

Rising Star – I wish I paid more attention to the site...

'Best' Storyline – Call me biased but I'm actually loving the direction that GLAM's (Gin, Lubbock, Alain, Mami) thread, Ain't Cutting No Ice is going... This is mainly because I am keeping up with few other threads.

Purple Ribbon - Wishes he could nominate Jak again because she is still awesome as ever Raal literally just snuck into the fricking chat and stole the limelight entirely, and straight under all our noses already reached the point of having an Alt. Thanks to him (and Winter, for that matter), there is a monumental possibility that Ruby will have a bitchin' storyline. Thumbs up to him.

‘Best’ Character – Nominating : Gildarts as Christa. Christa carried allot of the SS story. Simply love the depth her character has, both her good and bad sides show so well. Too bad she has to die in the void

‘Best’ Writer – Nominating : Thaal Sinestro. Grobdum, need i say more ? That monsterpost really stood out and defined you as a writer. Then again, i have been enjoying allot of your post. Best of luck Smile

Most Helpful – Nominating : Minato hands down, he has been running up and down this site to please and help everyone.Keep up the positive vibe ^^

Rising Star – Nominating : Alexyana , She's been very active and passionate about her character. Think she has allot of potential here. Her character aswell is very interesting, ( for a demon )

'Best' Storyline – Nominating Zangetsu and Dante : Loved the fight between Zangetsu and Dante , Both of them did a great job with their characters. Will follow their characters more after this ^^ ( And obviously steal Zangetsu )

Purple Ribbon - Nominating : Dean Winchester for many reasons, the main things are ofcourse, Its Dean winchester and Pie. But in all seriousness, the guy has a busy life and is always a great guy to meet in chat ^^ Hope you get that blue name Dean, you deserve it even though you cannot be president.

I've been super busy the last few weeks and can't nominate (as I need to read stuff to make my vote more balanced) for any other categories except....

Most Helpful: Ed/Minato has conquered helping in every way can, his help has really carried the site and in a time where we need mods because the site is growing so much. He has been there giving it his all and it shows. Dreams DO come true Minato. and he brought back book club FOR MEEEEEEEEEE

SN: Book club was brought back ONLY for my happiness. *convinced, though not sure Ed knew how much I adore book club*

Also, Best Writer: Thaal. his work has been truly magnificent, in his work in the Endless dunes with dean and MEEEE, along with the saga / void quest he has participated in. His effortless finesse has really blown me away, and I think he got 4/6 exemplary bonuses, and not even any judges have even scathed that many (and we know what the scorecard looks like). Dude makes it look easy. Not only did he do a great job plotwise with his character, he made my life a hell of a lot easier. Thanks Frisco. You're the best.

I've been doing my best to to read every single IC post since the 8th, so hopefully I'm well informed for this round.

‘Best’ Character – Honestly I'm gonna have to go with Kalli, and not just because she's my personal cheerleader. It's not often we have a Prime coming into the Omniversr who is as objectively humble and self-contained as Kalli. Still waiting on that next post on Tier 4 though! Get back t' werk, gurl!

‘Best’ Writer – Toughy toughy. Gonna have to hand it to Thaal though. That bit about the seeds and intent of summoning was gorgeous.

Most Helpful – For me, probably Proto Man. Mad propz to Ed though.

Rising Star – This one is always a tough one, since so many of the newcomers manage to impress me, but I'm gonna have to go for the sleeper hit that is Jade Harley. Girl writes like a fiend and threw herself into the deep end of the Omniverse both IC and OOC, and she made it work!

'Best' Storyline – Caira Ayryn's ongoing, multithread, storyline extravaganza has delighted me all month.

Purple Ribbon - Zack Fair gotta get his due respect. Brotha knows how to chew mad fat and always has solid perspectives on any conversation. His character may be pretty straightforward, but he knows what he likes and how to do it right.

‘Best’ Character – Geno. He is an unconventional Prime and I think we should see more of him. I'm just getting started on this site, but I've read quite a few stories, and Geno wows me as a character.

‘Best’ Writer – Larry Koopa. In his stories, he makes up a personality for Larry on the fly. And it feels just how Nintendo would make it.

Most Helpful – Minato Namikaze. He's been super helpful to me about making my character, Sackboy. I'm sure he's done this to lots of other writers as well.

Most Helpful – Minato has been shining as a mod lately xD Everyone has been really busy with either real life stuff lately or trying to wrap up the saga, or both. He's kinda been running the show as best he can as a mod. Doing a damn good job of it too.

Rising Star – My god, Jade Harley. And no, It's not just because we come from the same source or fandom or whatever you wanna call it. She is kicking ass, and she's doing it more or less solo, something I find very difficult. She's drawing attention to herself without the help of outside sources i.e. other characters or faction interaction. Plus, she got PesterOmni up and running within like less than a week of being on the site.

'Best' Storyline – "I'm Sorry, But the King You're Looking For is...."
I don't know why, maybe it's just the high concentration of talent there. I'm loving it though, really I am.

Purple Ribbon - Man this is a tough one for me :^I I'll have to come back to it.

Ive had a hard time voting this go around (busy month) so i apologize if there are some areas i dont vote in.

‘Best’ Character – This one is tough. Dante.

‘Best’ Writer – Might come back around to this. Lot of good stuff out there, kinda hard for me to choose from.

Most Helpful – As much as i'd love to jump on the Edmato (dont get me wrong, he's been kicking ass this month) bandwagon, but I have to hand it to Thaal for his quality judging. Keep up the good work man.

Rising Star – with as many people that have come in this go around, its hard for me to just pick one. Alexyana: you're pretty active and have a great personality and writing style to go along with it

'Best' Storyline – I haven't read much this month besides the secondary saga, but since that's off limits I have to nominate I'm Sorry, But the King You're Looking For Is.., and not because i'm in it. The peeps in there have been writing great stuff, and have made things interesting for me as the TM (threadmaster? you know.. like a DM or GM ah nevermind)

Purple Ribbon - Zack Fair- You're writing is great, you're active, positive, and fun to talk and work with. People like you make this site what it is. Keep up the great work!
