This sounds cool. I'll probably take part in it one way or another, though the matter of who I'll be entering isn't something I've quite figured out. I'll try not to lose my head over it.

Background - This is a prime tournament, held in the Colosseum of Camelot, located several miles from Minas Tirith. Usually host to an assortment of random fights, the tournament hasn't held a prime tournament in a few years, so they're reviving them. The patron/host of the event is 'Baron' Victor von Magnus, a high-ranking individual in the Kingdom and part of the king's council. He'll be there to oversee the event, give little speeches, ensure that rules and standards are followed, and just do random official stuff.

The tournament will be advertised throughout the Kingdom and on the Dataverse, so it's something people will be able to notice.

There will be a thread for random interaction at the Colosseum, as it's a giant place. Given the massive size of the arena, all fights in a given round will take place simultaneously. The interior/pit of the Colosseum will be divided into numerous staging areas for this purpose.

The following are the fight rules for the first round.

Word Limit: 750
Posts: 3
Time Limit: 48 hours
Setting: (Each fight will be staged somewhat differently)
SP use in enabled. SP does not regenerate between rounds. Injuries may occur. Neither injuries or SP use are factored into judgement, only the quality of writing.

Thaal and Gildarts are volunteering as judges. I'm still looking for a non-participant to serve as a third judge, so if you know of someone, tell them to contact me.

Also, I forgot to mention this, but at the end of the fight, it will be left to the winning prime whether to spare or slay their opponent (because Colosseum)
