Temple of the Sun (interest check/OOC)

I am planning on running a simple game for 2-4 participants. Courier has expressed an interest in RPing with Solaire, so unless there's some last-minute problems I'm considering them to already be part of this group. This will take place in Camelot. There are currently two (2) openings here. It'll be mostly for fun and to get to know a few other members' writing styles, build rapport between characters, and the like.

The Sell: Long has the Temple of the Sun been whispered of in southeast Camelot. A desolate place, one of crumbling stone and dense vegetation, this temple is said to be devoted to one of the forgotten deities of Primes long passed on from this world. They say that there are foul beasts residing there--men without identities, without souls. Demons of all description. A terrifying guardian who keeps watch over the whole of the long-forsaken place. Yet, rumors also persist of a great treasure, concealed within the auld chamber of worship itself.


Taking inspiration from the way based Gildarts is running the secondary saga, I plan on running this adventure in "phases", and I'm thinking there will be 4 in total, as follows:

Investigation Phase: involves the player characters doing independent investigation on the temple of the sun, to provide background fluff for why they'd be interested in such a thing.
Convergence Phase: This phase will involve players gathering together, establishing motives for working together--complex or shallow, we'd need them so it's good to have a phase for it--and possibly see how much synergy we can get out of combat.
Trials of the Sun Phase: This phase involves actually exploring the temple, seeing its unique sights and fighting many foes along the way. Expect a difficult but satisfying journey.
Dark Souls Boss Fight Phase: There will be a very difficult boss encounter, which will constitute the entirety of Phase 4.

A specific date isn't yet set, and for now I'm thinking "as soon as the people who are interested are available for it" would be when this starts.

I'd be interested, granted my RP with Shulk and Rin is done by then. If not, maybe I could with Lubbock if HIS RP is done, and if not, then I miss out ^^

Added interested parties to the OP. Since Courier hasn't gotten back to me yet, (s)he isn't listed as someone who's expressed explicit interest in this adventure, but they are ofc still considered to be on the list of possible participants until I hear otherwise.

It'll be a first-come, first-serve kind of deal to get in, so keep an eye on this thread, and post ITT once you've got a character who's free & able to participate. We'll start as soon as there are three total confirmed participants (including myself), and I'll post a link to the thread here when that time comes. After that, I may take on more than the planned four if I can figure out a way to make such arrangements work without sacrificing the kind of tone I'm going for with this adventure.
