Luci sits at a brightly lit desk in a dilapidated Hufflepunk safe-house in Teir-5, holding a fine-tipped pen with glowing ink and a magnifying glass. She is looking through the magnifying glass at a fake ID she is making, alternating her gaze between the ID and a head-shot of Vanessa Harmon, a severe looking Imperial bureaucrat. Satisfied, she stands up, bringing the head-shot and a few other pictures over to the only other piece of furniture in the room, a floor-length mirror.
Luci stares intently at the picture, focusing on the woman's high, narrow eyebrows. She looks in the mirror, and sees the serious-looking eyebrows glaring back at her.
Luci takes a deep breath and watches her facial features warp in the mirror. Her glowing golden eyes are replaced with peircing grey ones, her softly rounded rounded cheek bones getting sharper and raising higher, her chin loosing it's roundness and pointing down. Vanessa is all harsh angles and thin lips, so Luci tightens her soft features and scowls into the mirror.
She shuffles her pictures around, staring at a full body picture taken as Vanessa was exiting a cab. Luci concentrates, and feels herself grow taller and thinner, completing the change into a thin, mature woman with dark hair and a hostile face dressed in a black pinstriped suit skirt.
"Hey Lieutenant Perky hope you're decent oh fuck!" says the red-headed leader of the Hufflepunks as she again demonstrates her limited understanding of personal boundaries by bursting into Luci's room. The witch gawks as she circles Luci, who rubs her arm uncomfortably. The Hufflepunk grins.
"We're going to run this city."
