On the Road to Camelot.

[Iggy Koopa]

It felt like he was walking for several hours, waddling through the vast, white expanse without break or end as his feet grew tired, the Koopaling panting as he finally got to his destination. In front of him was a large, Tree-like portal coated in vines, Iggy staring at it in utter confusion. "What's... this," he muttered, stepping toward it. Taking a deep breath, he bounced through the portal, his whole body distorting as he slid in.

A loud, ear piercing shriek echoed through the Tangled Green, Iggy landing chin first on the soil after flying through. He picked himself up, looking around at everything in his sights. "...this place is..." he began, a smile forming on his mouth. "AWESOME!! It's like the jungles back home!" He paused, contemplating his own words. "...home? There was a jungle at home?" he asked himself, looking around. Taking a second to adjust his glasses, Iggy walked further into the jungle, looking about in awe and splendor as he explored the environment.

The sound of the Koopaling's yell has echoed throughout the dense and lush forest, alerting anyone nearby especially those who are outside of the Koopa Kingdom. Namely in the cause of Green and Black who were just around there at the time being; their orders from Ludwig were to search around here as they would to assist in the elder's attempt to locate and reunite the siblings with each other.

"Yo Black, did you heard that noise?" questioned Green as he got out of the bushes while looking around to his surroundings for a bit as the other replied,"It sounded like one of King Bowser's kids. We should see where they are right away!"

Black went ahead to investigate as Green panicked as he continued,"Hey wait up for me bro! I'm not gonna be left behind again!"

Both Ninjakoopas hurried onwards towards the source of the noise and hopefully the remaining two, being Red and Yellow, would be close as well, besides this was urgent for them and therefore they cannot slack off from their duty. They would hate to fail any of the Royals especially King Bowser and the rest; too much was at stake.

[Iggy Koopa]

"Hey Yellow, you hear that sound?" the red ninjakoopa asked, looking down from the treetops. "Kinda sounded like that Iggy guy in the castle!"

Yellow popped up from a bush, confused. "Dude, Iggy? I didn't think he came to this Omniverse place!" he replied. Red pondered on his brother's words, thinking to himself. It was true- honestly, if anyone did show up in the Omniverse, it wasn't by their own power. And even then, the chances of another Koopaling showing up so soon seemed pretty... low. "Think we oughta go check it out, bro?"

"Duh we gotta check it out, man! King Bowser will have our shells if we don't report back to him on finding one of his Koopalings!" the red koopa roared, hopping through the tree tops as Yellow bounced after him.Let's just hope he's okay, Red thought, looking forward as he bounced toward the Nexus Gate.

Iggy kept walking along, observing the jungle all around him. Lush, green, warm... the whole place filled the amnesiac koopa with a feeling of nostalgia, the young man sighing each breath. "This place feels nice," he muttered, still looking around. Taking a look up, he gawked, his jaw hanging open as he looked at Yggdrasil, towering over the jungle in the distance.

"This place has some amazing stuff!" he cheered, blissfully unaware of the dangers lurking near the tree. "I wonder how fast I can climb that-"

"Dude! Iggy!" Red called, Iggy shrieking in response. He and yellow found Iggy first, smiling. "You're totally alright!"

"When we got to this omniverse place, we didn't think you'd make it here!" Yellow cheered, Iggy shuffling in place. The koopas in front of him looked familiar, but he didn't quite understand why...

"...do we... know each-other?"

Combing through the forest, Black eventually saw Yellow and Red along with the tall Koopaling in front of them and dropped down onto the ground, only to be eventually joined up with Green.

"Awesome. We found one!" replied Green as he came in before Black corrected him,"Well, more like Red and Yellow. They found him first and we would had found him first if you weren't so slow Green,"

Green nervously chuckled a bit as he replied,"Still we found him. Not only King Bowser will be happy but Ludwig as well. He'll be stoked by the news..but the thing is: one of us is going have to tell him the news,"

Black crossed his arms as he suggested,"Nonono. How about this? One of us should go back to Ashen Steppes and tell King Bowser the news and the other should escort him to Ludwig so we can take out two birds with one stone. However, he did warn that the Camelot guards are crawling all around the place and could come our direction. I know, it's been recent that we had a rough fight with some small group of rogues came around,"

Green was looking confused as he asked,"Uhh, then which one of us should it be?"

[Iggy Koopa]

"Well, I guess Red could tell King Bowser," Yellow suggested. "He's team leader, after all."

Red crossed his arms. "Lumping me in with the hard part?" he snarled. While Red and Yellow argued, something clicked in Iggy's mind.

Bowser...? Ludwig... why do those names- He gasped. "LUDWIG'S HERE?! SO'S KING DAD?!!?" he cheered, bouncing in place. Noting the guy's excitement, Red bounced into the woods.

"Eh, I'll just tell King bowser- you guys can handle Iggy!" he called, vanishing to parts unknown. Yellow immedietely stepped back.

"Erm, yeah... You guys handle getting him to Ludwig," he offered. "I'll just uh... go see if another koopaling showed up! Yeah!" Yellow bounced into the unknown, leaving Iggy alone with the last of the Ninjakoopas.

"So... what's this Camelot place?" he asked.

Black rolled his eyes as he sighed when the other two brothers, being Red and Yellow, bounced out of the scenario. He knew that they were looking for an excuse to avoid the guards searching around Camelot.

Oh brother! Quite literally.

The moment Iggy had glee in excitement as he asked, Black explained,"Well, Camelot is an old medieval Kingdom that isn't that far from here to be honest. However, the main denizens are paranoid of anything that they would consider as non-human, yeah..you can see where it goes. Rumors say that there's actually a floating island near there which is supposed to be a place where there is a variety of mages, scholars and mystics around,"

Green continued,"Maybe that island is probably why Ludwig's checking around Camelot?"

In response to Green's question, Black shrugged as he answered,"I dunno. It could be. I'm not sure, but by the look of his face, he was serious about something. After all, we were attacked and something tells me that he wants something else. Much like King Bowser, he has a violent temper and will backlash against anyone who does him wrong or otherwise,"

Green nodded as he replied,"Yeah that is true. Scarily true, bro,"

Just the thought of it made him shudder in fear, if not inside his shell. They definitely don't want that to happen, not at all!

"Heya Black. I think I'll just get going.." suggested Green as he was about to bounce out before Black grabbed his arm and replied,"Don't think you're going to vanish on me as well. I had my fun and besides, I have to look for the other Koopalings around with Yellow. Later!"

Black eventually vanished into the lush forest and all that was left was Green and Iggy. Green furrowed his eyes as he grew annoyed to the fact that Black pulled off the same stunt that his other brothers pulled off not too long ago.

Again, oh brother!

"Not funny bro!" exclaimed Green as he sighed before he turned himself over to Iggy. In a defeated tone, he asked,"Looks like it's only us two green bros from here on out, huh?"

Hey, maybe it won't be that bad. After all, Iggy can help him out when he's in a tough spot by himself..well, it is a possibility.


Before long, he breathed in and sighed to calm down for a moment before he suggested,"Yeah, uh, we should get going to Camelot if we are to catch Ludwig before it gets too dark and creepy around here. I'll lead the way, just watch out for your surroundings; after all, this place has other ninjas and creatures around here that may not be as friendly," He eventually started his way and motioned the Koopaling to follow after him to get to the gate towards Camelot.

This is going to be a doozy of a trip.

[Iggy Koopa]

Iggy nodded, keeping a look out for any possible creatures or angry assassin types as the pair made their way through the woods. "...Is uh, getting amnesia normal?" he asked. "If you come here, I mean. I couldn't remember a blasted thing when i got here..."

The tall koopaling sighed, still looking around.

[Lemmy Koopa]

"Ehh, I don't think it's amnesia if it's an unfamiliar situation to you?" he asked in a confused tone before he continued with a shrug,"I mean, King Bowser and the others may had went through something like this before they populated Ashen Steppes? Erm, maybe you should really ask Kamek once we return to the Castle since he knows more than I do,"

Green was good with basic things but when it comes to things like this, yeah, it can be confusing.

"You know, I'm just a Koopa Bro doing my duty serving under King Bowser," he added as he smiled back at Iggy. "Yeah, just one bro out of my siblings that is in a giant army of many,"

After a bit, he was reminded of something, but decided to lay it to rest for now. They should really focus on finding Ludwig in Camelot and reuniting the two brothers.

With a chuckle, he asked,"So, besides excited, how do you really feel to be able to see Ludwig again? You were practically jumpy about it. I mean, I would feel the same way if I were to meet my bros again since we're a team just like you are, but..do you ever feel..nervous..in a way? I would, truth to be told,"

He started up on the discussion to pass the time to the gate.

[Iggy Koopa]

"Nervous?" Iggy asked. "Hmm... well, I guess I feel nervous without my twin brother, but..." He stopped in place, his eyes staring out into vacant space. "....Twin? I have a twin?" he asked himself, paused in thought as he tried to consider what he was saying. Shaking his head, he kept marching with Green.

"...I guess I feel nervous now," he sighed. "I can't remember my own brothers' faces... or sisters'... do I have sisters?" he asked again. He couldn't remember much, if anything at all! His mind was a complete blank, the koopa not even knowing what his own family or friends looked like. Did he have important people in his life? Did he even have much of a life to begin with?

He hunched forward, his arms drooping as he walked along. "....mmm," he mumbled. "Definitely nervous..."

"Hey, hey, don't beat yourself up," Green spoke up to Iggy. "You'll be seeing Ludwig very soon after all and everything will be cool. Remember, keep your head up and press onwards, that's all you could do,"

Before long, Green had spotted the gate to Camelot in the distance and he pointed onwards as he said,"You see we're over halfway there,"

As Green walked ahead, it was only seconds later that he was suddenly rammed by a certain individual, causing him to tumble backwards some distance, falling onto his shell.

"Ahh! The shell? Man, that's NOT COOL!" exclaimed Green as he was unable to get up for the time being. Yeah, that's going to be several bruisers in the morning, but then again, he hasn't been hit that hard since well, a very long time ago, by a certain someone.

Currently, he couldn't remember who just yet..

The culprit eventually made his way down the path and caught up with Iggy and Green. Who could it be exactly? Well..the answer was.. he was a small little Koopa with the remains of his own egg on his head and his lower body with brown shoes. However, despite being a young one, he was an aggressive little tyke.

"Nobody is allowed to trespass my playground! NOBODY!" the small hatchling scolded the duo before Green eventually got up from being knocked back and lo and behold, he caught sight of the little one.

He took a moment to remember and then, BAM! Something sparked inside his mind!

Green's eyes widened as he replied,"It's..you. You're that little guy that was following Mario and beat us all up before we could even attack him! Whoa dude, how did you get out here?"

The hatchling glared at Green as he scowled,"That's none of your business! Now, the both of you grovel at the feet of Master Jr. Troopa or else!"

This little tyke is here once more and in the way of them getting to Camelot, but then again, Green has Iggy around, but what to do? He didn't want to fight, he wanted to reunite Iggy with his older brother, Ludwig.

They're going have to come up with a plan somehow.

[Iggy Koopa]

Iggy leaned down, staring at the kid. "Hmmmmmmmm....." He righted himself, stretching. "I didn't see no sign that said this was your playground," Iggy noted. "Besides, why would it matter if we did? We're just passing through..."

He watched the egg shelled koopa carefully, trying to think of a way past him. Would it be okay to pick a fight? Mmmm... i dunno, if he's got a Ninja to cower, what chance do I have?

The little tyke crossed his arms as he impatiently tapped his foot and closed one eye as he was thinking for a bit as he looked up to Iggy curiously as he asked,"First off, who are you suppose to be, secondly, what's your reason of passing through and finally, if I allow you to pass through, you swear by your shell that you would NOT touch any of my stuff?"

Talk about a protective little tyke but still, atleast he isn't going all out offensive against these two. Atleast they're not Mario, they're just some random travelers.

"Depending on what you say to me, it will determine if I allow you to pass through and while at it, address me as Master Jr. Troopa, nothing less," he reassured. "Oh and only the tall guy speaks. As for the other Koopa, you keep quiet over there,"

What a little brat, but Green would have to keep quiet as much he wants to say something.

[Iggy Koopa]

Iggy's expression furrowed, bending low to stare at the shelled miscreant. "Now hold on," he huffed. "You haven't done anything to prove to me you're a master of anything! Why should I refer to you as Master Jr. Troopa when I have nothing to compare you to?!

"If you want a title like that, you need to earn it," Iggy sighed. "Or at least show me what you did to earn it in the first place."

[Lemmy Koopa]

"Hey, no questioning my title! It's rightfully mine's," the little tyke replied."Besides, I'm the one that went after Mario for the longest time. I've crossed plains, I've braved a maze of a spooky forest, I've climbed through the icy mountains, I swam through the ocean twice, I survived through a Castle filled with traps and I've beat the snout out of others in my way. I'm tough stuff and therefore I should be respected!"

Green whispered to Iggy as he suggested,"I wouldn't try to take him head on, man. This little guy is serious business and he's very persistent as well because he never lets up. Plus, I've heard rumors that his magic can take against Kammy's anytime; it would be better if we do what he says to make things smoother for the both of us to find Ludwig,"

Green wasn't in the mood for a fight but then again, he's not in the mood to tick this little guy off.

The younger one liked the sound of that suggestion, which is hypocritical that he didn't yell at him to shut his beak, as he replied,"Atleast someone has the right idea out of your group and it's the Koopa I've beaten up before along with his wimpy brothers,"

Green grew offended at that statement as he furrowed his eyes as he thought,'He doesn't realize that we train all the time to get our moves down pat to trounce Mario and the others from getting to King Bowser. It's not easy,'

While Jr. Troopa's ego was stroked, that was when Green had another idea and whispered to Iggy about letting the little tyke join with them temporarily to be extra aid in the Tangled Green in case some Camelot guards or anyone else comes around to threaten them.

[Iggy Koopa]

Iggy was about to comment, then heard Green whisper in his ear hole. He lit up, smiling. "Those are some remarkable feats!" Iggy grinned. "Someone that powerful could be a marvelous and awesome addition to our little group here- You can handle yourself well, so maybe you can handle Anyone that tries to take us down, too. You are the master, right?"

While he seemed fairly confident on the outside, on the inside, he was screaming pretty badly in his head, hoping the little dude would take the bait and act as something of a body guard for them. "In fact- if this is your territory," he continued. "I'd like to ask your permission to come through here another time. I really like this place, see, and would rather not get horribly whacked by someone as strong as you are while here..."

The little tyke took to it right away, ignoring to the fact that he was being manipulated by the others, as he nodded in agreement. He replied,"That's right, I am! After all, there's been a bunch of suspicious guys running around here and I don't like that. Don't they know it's my territory 'round these parts? Yeesh!"

He continued,"However, since you put it like that, I suppose I can let you guys through but I'm tagging along to make sure, but I'm the leader since I'm the master! Don't forget that!"

Due to Green's plan, they were able to get the little tyke on their side but it was mostly due to Iggy and his play of words that made it more convincing. However, they better watch it on the fact that they would need to watch their boundaries to ensure that Jr. Troopa would not be enraged.

"Now, you said you needed to get somewhere?" he asked the duo as he sounded somewhat calmer.

[Iggy Koopa]

"Preferably," Iggy began. "The way to Camelot. I'm kind of looking for a brother, Mister Master Troopa, sir."

[Lemmy Koopa]

"Camelot? That place? That's not even far from here!" the younger replied to Iggy. "Sheesh, I even know where that's at with my eyes closed! Well, let's get going then,"

Before long, he turned around and started his way onward towards the Gate that lead to Camelot as Green sighed in relief as he murmured to Iggy,"Atleast the little guy brought it or there would had been a bad fight, but still, it kinda gets to me somewhat,"

"What are you two slowpokes doing back there? Hurry up!" exclaimed the younger as he had stopped and turned around while on the path, looking at the duo in suspicion. "Do you really want to have someone else delay us even further? It'll be nightfall before we pass through this place!"

Green perked up as he immediately came over to the little tyke as he replied,"Sorry, Master Jr. Troopa, sir! We're coming, we're coming!"

[Iggy Koopa]

"Right sir! Coming right behind you!" Iggy called, booking it after the tiny shelled tot. "Sorry if I'm not sure where to g- I'm kind of brand new here," he sighed, looking down with a look of guilt.

Eventually the trio hurried along the pathway to Camelot. With Jr. Troopa leading the way for the group, the group had a more stable situation with a powerhouse on board. All the while, Green was still recovering from the serious attack he took at full blow from the little tyke; now if his brothers saw him, for sure that they would have a situation.

As the one being in front, the little one mentally mused to himself as he couldn't believe that these two fell for that he was the one in charge and at large. However, he also wondered if they would assist him to finding Mario as well.

..maybe he should stick around with the group longer. It wouldn't harm him to know after all.

Being the vigilant one, Jr. Troopa looked around the place as Green thought of how cautious that this little guy was, noting to the fact that he's been traveling with them for a bit. However, they were getting closer to the gateway to Camelot and Green was wondering how the others were doing in the meanwhile, having been feeling concerned for Iggy.

After what it seem to be almost a long-while, Green, being distracted, wandered off slightly ahead, only to nonchalantly bump into the tyke as he had stopped within close distance of the gate.

"HEY! Watch it!" scolded the younger as he turned around, causing Green to perk up and back off. "Oops, sorry, sorry. I wasn't paying attention, sir, I didn't mean to, but why did we stop?"

The Troopa turned around facing the gate as he checked the area around to be sure that nobody would be threatening the group before he went out into the woods twice for a moment, only to return to the duo with his little bat wings out as he was hovering in midair.

Green noticed this as he pointed at the other as he asked,"Umm, are those wings you have?"

"Yeah so? I was getting tired of walking and besides it's faster. Now, this isn't a time to be stalling! We're close!" he replied before he flew through the arched stone gate into Camelot as Green sighed in annoyance,"He's very uptight and bossy for a leader even temporarily. The sooner we find Ludwig, the better. Argh!"

Before long, they exited Tangled Greens and onto the next destination.
