Writing for Money

So... I'm looking to maybe try and find some work writing for money since I can't find a regular job (and acting barely pays the bills) but I have no idea where to start. Anyone have any luck with this? I'm particularly good at movie reviews but I'll take anything. I'm sure others would be interested in this as well.

Good luck man. I don't know much about this, but when I looked into it years ago, the prospects aren't that great. Other than being a cog in a big review website machine and earning cents for reviews, or actually becoming a paid writer for a company (as in, you fill a position of which there are not many/one), it's pretty tough.

Been a dream of mine, too. No manifestation as of yet.

You can make pretty decent/easy money if you're comfortable with pandering and writing comedy articles (think Cracked, etc). You might not be comfortable doing it, though, since you're basically just marketing people's nostalgia/biases/etc back to them.

There is another that earns about the same per chapter, but her content is very, well. Niche.

You could try meeting some college kids that aren't interested in actually working, but want high grades

Thesis statements, essays, etc.

I'm sure some of the lazy wealthier students would have no problem pumping out big bucks for quality papers

I would do that for side money, but Apple has us sign over all intellectual property and basically only allows us to work for them.
