Secondary Void Saga Character Profiles
#1
Name: Top Man (DWN-021)

Source: Mega Man 3

Appearance:
History: Top Man arrived with his brothers (and half-brothers) two years ago. With his fellow 'hybrids' or 'Gen-3s,' he set up a residence on Coruscant's lower tiers, where his siblings and he kept an eye on the Gen-2 Robot Masters. A series of scuffles broke out between the two rival groups of machines until they agreed to leave on another alone, allowing the Gen-2s the time they needed to further their plans. The Gen-3s, more curious with the world at large, were freed to explore the Omniverse, although they continued to keep an eye on the other Robot Masters (as well as those who settled in the Tier Six Community Center).

Top Man, fascinated with the Dataverse, created a blog and video series to record his adventures across the Omniverse. Over a year, he visited all of the major verses, posing for 'candid' pics with local leaders, partying with rebels and aristocrats, and even trying to arm-wrestle Vi. You ever drink ice team at the top of a mountain in the Frozen Fields? You ever go ballroom dancing with two of Tyrande's chamber-maidens? How about sword fighting Victor von Magnus? Maybe you should live a little more.

Recently, one of his followers linked him to a group of secondaries organzing to find Omni. Realizing this could be his best shot at genuine superstar-dom (as well as finding out answers or something?), Top Man followed the leads to get added to the group.

Goals and motivations: & Why do they want to find Omni? - A growing Dataverse personality, Top Man has traveled to various locations in the Omniverse while 'out on missions' for his siblings. He's written accounts of these adventures and filmed many of them for his online blog/vlog. Although he's been traveling for over a year, his ventures at Dataverse fame are only about half that old. What would be more remarkable than making it to the Oververse and taking a selfie with Omni?

Personality: Flamboyant and out-going, Top Man will talk you ear off and would never back down from a fight. He acts a little more ridiculous while filming, although in personal conversations he tends to be far more down-to-earth.

Possible Reactions: To what?

Acquaintances: Vi, Dobson, Bowser, Mewtwo, Baron Victor von Magnus, Bruenor Battlehammer, Sapphiron, Darunia, Tyrande, Tsundae, Pepsiman, Karl Jak, Roland, Whompt, Princess Sunshine, Thrall, Aragorn, Dwayne Johnson, and many others

Combat Style: Dancing

Skills: Dancing, Bombast, Sass, Rollerblading, Mountain Climbing, Camping, Selfies

Extra: CAN'T STOP THE TOP

Dante's Abyss 2015
Host
#2
Name: Christa

Full name: Christa "Breadcrumbs" Adams

Source: Original

Appearance: Early Twenty's with pale blonde hair. Medium to tall with lithe build. Generally alternates between a "Don't fuck with me" face, a subtle neutral grimace, or a somber straight-lipped observing stare.

History: There is some implied bad blood between the Empire and Christa. Her distinct skill set was desired by the empire to perform a specific task, and when they found they could not have her (she was uncompliant), she was captured and tortured before eventually being made into a dog of the empire for a short time.

Before the Omniverse not much is known about her, she has a vague military back round and her amount of combat experience rivals that of seasoned Primes.

Goals and motivations: Find omni to avenge deceased sister. Take out as many empire dogs as she can.

Why do they want to find Omni? Find omni to revive sister or return to home world.

Personality: Badass, overconfident, don't give no shits kind of girl. She's rather truthful, speaks her mind even when her brazen words would be considered out of place. Christa's remorse shows a soft spot only for her sister, and she becomes ferocious when facing an enemy, or at the mention of her greatest enemy of all, the Empire.

Possible Reactions: N/A

Relationships: Isaac, a fresh partner bonded by spilt blood.

Combat Style: The unrelenting Christa wields guns, blades, and anything she can get her hands on (improvised) if it means her survival. Her will to live is strong, and she would even be willing shoot through a civilian (not entirely lethal) if it meant taking down her target.

The girl is a lone wolf player, however her will to live – or rather, deliver vengeance – has the potential to bond her with other likeminded individuals, who she would fight for. She isn't the self sacrificing type, but she would go out of her way to save someone if they could prove useful to her down the line.

Skills:
Speciality: Marksman, hand to hand, battle strategy, artillery expert. Startlingly keen on adapting to survive while her life is on the line.

SN: Grenades

Extra: her sister is dead, she frequently gets flashbacks during battle that could pose a threat to her efficiency.

Possible Quotes: "Better him than me." (Context: said as she shoots someone who would kill her if she freed him)

"I don't want your damn Omni-copy" (said as the empire attempts to bribe her compliance with the promise - a suspected bluff - of returning her deceased sister.)

"Bite my fifty cal fucker!"

Name: Raw Onion

Full name: PFC Raw Onion of the East Pegasus Battalion

Source: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic/Original Character

Appearance: She’s a pegasus pony with a brown coat and green and yellow mane. She’s wearing armor designated for Privates back in the old days of Equestria:
That armor, except the lightning bolt emblem is instead a symbol of a Griffon, signifying her allegiance to the East Pegasus Battalion.

When she has the armor off, she likes to tie up her mane in a top ponytail. On both her thighs are pictures of an onion cut in halves

History: She was raised in the old days before Equestria, back when the Pegasi, Unicorns, and Earth Ponies only worked together out of necessity and quite hated each other. The Pegasi tribes were run by a warrior hierarchy where the ranking commanders ruled society.

After the pegasi were brought to the Omniverse, they wound up dividing, unable to agree what to do in this new world. They divided by East, West, South, and North.

Raw Onion was part of the Eastern tribe. She gained her cutiemark (that’s a tattoo on your thigh that signify’s a pony’s destiny) in culinary arts. However, her mom wanted her to be a soldier. Afraid of disappointing her mother, she made up a lie about about how the onion signified her “inability to cry in the face of combat” and joined up. She’s always been disappointed with her decision, but she stuck with it and served long enough to gain the rank of “Private First Class”

Goals and motivations: Her drive as a soldier draws from societal pressures, but partially out of boredom. Considering the pegasi never really had a cause to fight for, she felt like the sacrifice of her dreams were kind of pointless in the long run and tends to get excited when she’s ordered to do something of value. While she aims to become a high ranking officer for her mom, she still dreams of opening a restaurant some day.

Why do they want to find Omni? She’s acting on orders by higher command. When they learned of the journey, they couldn’t leave themselves to be unrepresented. Onion is just excited to go on a mission that actually matters and gladly accepted on that basis alone.

Personality: She acts formally when she has the armor on. Often acting the best she can to come off as honorable. However, when she has the armor off, she’s often incredibly sweet and friendly and enjoys the company of others. She’s fascinated by other cultures and likes listening to members of other species talking about their homelands.

Possible Reactions: She’s quick to protect the innocent or save an ally in trouble. She’ll gravitate anyone else who calls themselves a soldier and bond with them.

Relationships: (Who do they know?) Most of her interactions have been with her platoon. She used to have friends back in her childhood but she hasn’t spoken with them in ages. She has interacted with John Connor on the dataverse, but it’s more an acquaintance kind of deal.

Combat Style: Being a Pegasus, she was trained heavily in midair kicks and wing attacks. She can also pull a cloud out of the sky, either using it to make it rain or to launch lightning down on her foes. She can also fly around in circles in one spot and create a mini tornado to toss around some enemies, but she usually refrains from this as it also harms her allies.

Skills: Flight is an obvious one. She can fly up to 8 spd if she’s flying in a straight line however she's quite unstable at those speeds; she's far more comfortable at 4 spd. She’s served at least a year in the military and has combat experience against orcs.

She can touch and interact with clouds. If it’s an overcast day, she can punch a hole. If there is only one cloud in the sky, she can move it so her team can be in the shade. As mentioned before, she could use any cloud to summon rain or lightning. As also already mentioned she can make mini tornados.

Extra: She can use her flight feathers as fingers, allowing her to use a dataverse device.

Possible Quotes: “Ready to see Omni, Sir!”

“We fight together! Honor amongst soldiers!”

“Sometimes I wonder if everything I do for the military is pointless.”

“I’m glad you’re my friend.”

Secondary : Klaud Nine
Name: Klaud

Full name: General Klaud Nine

Source: D.gray man

Appearance: [Image: latest?cb=20090919005207]

History: Prior to becoming an exorcist of the Black Order, Klaud was a beast master in a circus. She then became an exorcist and worked her way up to becoming one of the four generals.

Goals and motivations: Klaud is highly motivated to perform her tasks as exorcist and eliminate Akuma. Though in the ommiverse her only current goal is to find a way to get Lau Jimin at her side once again.

Why do they want to find Omni? She wishes that she is reunited with her companion Lau Jimin. She has always been together with her companion and he was part of her innocense. She wants him with her in the omniverse.

Personality: She seems to be a gentle woman, as she is seen weeping for her deceased team. She also seems very friendly and calm. However, she is very stern and serious when it comes to her duty as an Exorcist. She also does not care for useless men at all.

Relationships: Klaud is affiliated with all fellow exorcists within the omniverse. Other NPC's have seen her pass through as she is traveling the verses searching for awnsers and Lau. She has heard of the more powerful primes but has never met any of them.

Combat Style: Fighting with her whip she fights off her enemies. Highly agile and her speed make her a difficult target, though she is not as durable. The tip of the whip consists out of blue innocense energy. she could also use the whip to control Lau jimin though he is not in the Omniverse.

Skills: She is a general in the black order, a person of leadership. A strategist that stays calm under pressure and calculates risks.

Name: Captain Crow

Full name: Richard Falthas Crow

Source: Original

Appearance:

A tall and lean man, Crow doesn't appear imposing, aside from the angular and somehow hawkish features of his face, and preternaturally sharp and pale eyes that mirror the gray of his hair. He does have unnaturally sharp canines in his maw, which he professes to have filed and sharpened as an intimidation factor. Dresses in a somewhat extravagant style, with what looks more like the long dress coat of a military man or minor royalty than the garb of a pirate. Rarely ever seen without his signature pointy-brimmed hat and deep red one-shoulder cape, and frequently wears crisp white gloves on his hands. Completing the ensemble are boots that reach to upper-mid-shin, capped with metal plates on the toe, and being entirely waterproof. A well-maintained saber often hangs from his left hip, whether he is expecting trouble or not.

History: Born to an unremarkable life, the man who would grow up to become Captain Crow led a simple existence, fascinated by the sea, and tales that the ones who sailed it brought back with them. When he was old enough, he took the first chance to enlist with his country's navy. It wasn't what he expected, and after one too many unfortunate run-ins with the filth that roamed the sea, and the tragedies that were dealt on both sides of the conflicts...he finally had enough.

He still loved the sea, and the adventure and stories just waiting to be found out on the open water, but not the discipline and mindless tedium of military life. So he struck out on his own. He never did gain much of an actual reputation, earning himself only a place in myth and story for the sheer ridiculous level of his exploits, things that no sane and rational man would -- or, in some cases, could -- have done and lived to tell the tale.

He gathered a crew, and over the years a wealth of both riches, and oh so many stories to tell. And all the time he grew stronger, and better, and more inspired to ever greater heights. And when the navy or some bounty hunter did decide to go off on the wild goose chase that was looking for Captain Crow, after a bit of pillaging or 'adventuring' left witnesses and people to admit that the tales were real, the poor sailors were never heard from again. Gone, absorbed right into Crow's growing legend.

Until one day it all just stopped. People said Crow and his ship had sailed out into the dark waters beyond the map's edge one day, and never came back.

What ever really happened to him, well...now that would be a tale to tell, wouldn't it?

Goals and motivations: Crow is always in the market for adding more wealth to his repertoire -- whether of the physical and monetary variety, or to the vault of hard-earned wisdom he's built up over the years. The prospect of a good adventure has sent him on more than one wild trip across the world, and across the verses, in the Omniverse. He's really seeking nothing in particular, but at the same time, a little bit of everything...just wants to see it all, so to speak.

Why do they want to find Omni? Finding Omni seems to be the biggest accomplishment anyone ever talks about. And being the one -- or one of the ones -- to accomplish such a lofty goal? Well, that'd make for one grand story to tell afterward, and a hell of an adventure along the way, no?

Personality:Replete with a wit and sense of humor as sharp as his saber, laidback and relatively cool-headed. Has a sharp temper when agitated, but luckily has no small measure of skill keeping it under control. Quick to laugh, and slow to really take any sort of true offense to just about anything.

Crow is, however, not exactly known for being the kindest or gentlest person, and doesn't mince words, preferring to cut straight to the point, and often in the most blunt, upfront way possible. He's lived a long life under harsh conditions, and intermingled with his harsh, seafaring accent and mannerisms, he's got quite a vault of wisdom, even if most of it is practical and life-learned, and he's prone to share it when asked.

He enjoys a good drink and a story more than most anything -- even the scent of a fresh treasure hunt -- and is equally at home crossing swords as with crossing words with other folk.

Possible Reactions: Crow doesn't take well to threats or violence against his person, or those he's taken a shine to, and is liable to respond in kind. On top of that, he doesn't care much for being interrupted, or for -- gods forbid -- having a drink of any description spilled, and will get rather upset about both things. Aside from that, he's prone to laugh most anything else off, keeping a jovial outlook, almost to the point of being unnerving.

Relationships: Crow has met many folks in his travels, from just about every verse, though never really anyone of import. He knows ABOUT a great many people thanks to that, and the occasional peek at the Dataverse, but the number of people he knows personally, on a named basis could be counted on both hands.

Combat Style: When Crow fights, it's a lightning-quick and dazzling display, his bloodied saber flashing like a silver glint, and Crow himself looking like a wraith as he dashes and darts about, weaving in and through his enemies' guard and around them, almost like some bizarre, macabre dance, leaving them as confused as anything. He's got a number of pistols and knives on his person, as well, which he makes ample, deadly use of when the need arises, and he's far from being too god to kick some proverbial sand in an enemies' eyes, or use just about anything around him to get the upper hand.

Skills: Crow was a navyman for a number of years in his home world, and he was a skilled pirate for decades afterward. He's skilled with a sword, pistol, and at keeping a ship running through anything. He's supernaturally fast and coordinated on just about any terrain, and strong as tough as steel cable, from a lifetime of fights and adverse conditions. He's good at keeping up an imposing, wolfish facade, bearing pointed teeth and inhuman, gray eyes and has developed a talent for piercing, inhuman shrieks and battlecries to scare the pants off anyone who isn't expecting them.

Aside from all that, Crow can leap startlingly high, enough to make his way halfway up a ships mast in a good quick hop, and his eyesight is sharp as a hawk.

Extra: Crow's saber is perpetually bloodied, looking like a scarlet ribbon or intricate design worked into the blade, and he can let this blood 'fly' and turn his blade into a whip at need. Also, in a curious note, many people have commented that Crow only seems to cast a shadow at the hours surrounding high noon...curious.
Alright, decided who I'm going with.

Name: Abner

Full name: Captain Abner White

Source: Omniverse Original Character (or Star Wars?)

Appearance: Abner wears green BDU pants, black boots, and a grey t-shirt. He wears a black bulletproof vest as well, but only because it was issued to him and happens to have extra pockets for storage. He frequently complains about how hot the damn thing is. He also wears a black ballcap with the Imperial logo on it. His face is scruffy and unshaven, and if he's not smoking a cigarette he's likely chewing tobacco dip. He speaks with an accent associated with the rural American southeast. One would be able to correctly guess upon looking at him that he is in his late 30s, most noticeably his black hair is showing bits of grey in it.

History: Abner has been an Imperial stormtrooper for a long time, as well as a soldier in his world before arriving in the Omniverse. He served on many missions and is well known as one of the Empire's best "normal" stormtroopers, in that he has no extra powers and is not a Prime. That said, he's slowed down considerably the past few years. He'd like to take a break from being a front-line soldier, but he doesn't have many other marketable skills. He's seen and done many things, and now he's become somewhat tired of it all. He has worked as a stormtrooper in the Nexus for the past several years, having to deal with both new Primes as well as soldiers from Camelot. He was sent to the Nexus to help recruit Primes to the Imperial side after it was decided that he might not be the best at patrolling in Coruscant. This didn't work too well, as he was much more interested in simply surviving than actually recruiting Primes, unlike some of the more eager, younger troopers. He has now been reassigned to the special operations section, with his superiors hoping that his unorthodox skills and methods might bring some success in some unusual operations.

Goals and motivations: Abner would be more than happy to simply retire and fade away, but he has a long time left before that happens. So for now, he's content to do his work and be a soldier with as little effort as possible. The only real goal he has is making it back home at the end of every mission.

Why do they want to find Omni? He really doesn't. But his mission from the Empire is to investigate and follow up on rumors that there's a way to the Oververse, and they pay the bills. Should he actually reach Omni, he would have to re-evaluate his priorities.

Personality: "Doesn't give a shit" appears to be the easiest way to describe Abner. He will do his job with as little effort as is needed to get it done. That said, he'll never leave something unfinished or in bad shape, he's just not the "extra mile" type. He is very laid back and relaxed, and he rarely gets worked up over anything. The flip side is that he is fiercely loyal to his allies, after he warms up to them. He will fight for them and do anything he can to help them out. If they make a questionable or unwise decision on the quest, though, he'll be the first to tell them that he thinks they've done wrong, in his own (colorful) way. One of the reasons he was sent away from Corsucant is that if he has an opinion that isn't very politically correct, he's not afraid to speak it out loud.

Possible Reactions: Whatever crazy life story anyone has, Abner's not impressed by it. He's seen and heard it all already. Whatever crazy enemy or challenge is thrown at them, he'll take it in stride. If one of his companions gets on a long tangent about their past, the others will likely see Abner shaking his head somewhere nearby. He's a believer that when it's it's his time to die, then it's his time. That said, he won't dive headfirst needlessly. If the quest gets too hard, and people begin dying rapidly, Abner will gladly speak up and say that it's time to go back. If he can't convince his team to turn back, then that's fine by him, he's liable to leave on his own. If there appears to be no other alternative, he will press on, grumbling more than usual about it.

Relationships: Abner knows many Imperial soldiers, from high to low ranking, simply as a result of his tenure. He's also met several Primes in his time in the Nexus and is also on friendly terms with some Camelot soldiers, preferring that over the possibility of violence breaking out.

Combat Style: Abner typically operates at long range with a rifle or a pistol, but if he's forced to he can survive up close with his hand to hand skills or his combat knife.

Skills: Despite his apathetic personality, Abner is actually an incredibly skilled hand to hand fighter and an expert shot with a pistol and a rifle. He is a great tracker, having grown up a hunter. He has plenty of survival skills that pertain to long missions away from backup or support.

Extra: Abner has one appearance already, in this post during my alt's arrival in the Omniverse.

Possible Quotes: Not exactly a quote, but he is pretty well known for his exasperated and annoyed sigh.

GOBLIN SHAMAN
Grobdum Noseflayer
from:
Warhammer Fantasy

History: Grobdum was summoned by a mighty Orc Warboss in the Tangled Greens, to serve as a trusted (and very magical) advisor. Within an hour the Warboss, along with the rest of the WAAAGH!, lay in a puddle of their own green blood, killed at the hands of Aragorn's knights. Grobdum only managed to escape after calling upon the residual WAAAGH! magic and summoning the Foot of Gork, which crushed a sizable portion of the cavalry. He wondered breifly why he had not cast it before the slaughter of his WAAAGH! but pretty quickly got over it. Now, without a WAAAGH! to draw magic from, Grobdum seeks a new group of screaming, psychotic lunatics to join so that he may pay tribute to Gork and Mork, regaining the power he has lost.

Goals and motivations: "Who's Omni? Who CARES!? Need more WAAAGH!" Grobdum only seeks the company of others to draw from their fanatical dedication to a cause, so that he can convert that energy into MAGIC STUFFS.

Personality: Chittering, insane, and only half as clever as he thinks himself to be (which is still pretty clever), Grobdum is used to the primal and brutal lifestyle of the WAAAGH! He does not discuss, he does not care about the pain and suffering of others, and by default looks at other creatures (and himself) as a simple piece on the board. All he truly cares about is bringing wanton destruction. It's what he was MADE for. He also speaks in what we would OOG consider to a Cockney accent.

Possible Reactions: Grobdum will react with confusion at most diplomacy, discussion or anything other than a direct, head-on charge towards whatever the current goal is. He will only respect the person that is PHYSICALLY the largest in the group, and refer to them as, "Warboss." Other tall or physically imposing characters will be referred to as, "Nobs," where smaller characters will be referred to as, "Grots." He uses magic, and probably WAY TOO MUCH for whatever the given situation is. If you ask him to light a fire, half the canopy is going up with it.

Acquaintances: Nobody. He'll probably join because there is a large group of people doing... something? He doesn't care.

Combat Style: Magic? MAGIC. NEEDS MORE BOOM. He is small, nimble, callous and skilled in the ways of magic. He's pretty good at running away too, so that he can magic at you. In fact, if things are looking bad, or less than amazing, he's likely to start running away. If he finds a giant spider, you better bet your bottom fucking dollar that he's gonna ride it, and ride it good.

Skills: Magic. Running. Being green. Stabbing things with a little knife. Laughing maniacally. SPIDER RIDING.

Name: Isaac the Bloodlance

Full name: Isaac "Bloodlance" Carter

Source: OC

Appearance: Old and weathered Isaac looks like he's seen better days. His face is thin and his blue eyes are weary with the weight of the world. Despite this his smile is still sincere and heartfelt. He's missing his left arm up to the elbow and usually keeps the stump bandaged. He wears a tattered crimson cloak on top of whatever his outfit is and has a black octagon tattooed on his chest.

History: Before he was brought to the omniverse Isaac served in several military campaigns and grew into an incredibly skilled soldier. Eventually he was offered a position on an elite clandestine strike force, known as Sector 8. Tt was during one of their strikes against a secret enemy installation that his team was captured and forced into biological experiments. These experiments allowed him and his allies to develop extraordinary powers. This was where he learned to manipulate his blood and turn it into a deadly weapon. He spent two years in this facility before he was summoned to the Omniverse.

During his time in the Omniverse he served the Empire and with his ability and training he made a name for himself. It was during his servitude with the Empire that he found his now-deceased wife. After having a falling out with the Empire they now seek to capture him and make him pay for his supposed treachery. He now seeks Omni in hopes of resurrecting his dead wife.

Goals and motivations: He wants to see the good in people and thinks the world could be a peaceful place if people put in the effort. Isaac wants nothing more than his wife back in his arms and to hide away in some peaceful place.

Why do they want to find Omni? To resurrect his wife and escape the Omniverse

Personality: Kind and values life greatly. He believes no one deserves to die and tries his best to avoid killing. Isaac tries to be the "wizened old man" and offers a friendly ear for anyone who needs it.

Possible Reactions: Isaac will try to remain on friendly terms with everyone. However he is not afraid to scold someone or speak his mind if he disagrees.

Relationships: Christa

Combat Style: Being a member of an elite strike force Isaac is skilled in hand-to-hand combat and firearms. Unfortunantly due to his missing limb firing rifles is difficult if not impossible and he is at aa disadvantage in fistfights. But his one trick up his sleeve is his ability to manipulate his blood. He can turn his blood into a very sharp blade or relatively strong shield. He'll avoid vital areas and seek to incapacitate his foe rather than slaying them.

Skills: Elite military training and the ability to manipulate his blood into a deadly offensive or defensive tool.

Extra: Has appeared in "An Alliance Forged in Blood" <!-- l --><a class="postlink-local" href="http://omniverse-rpg.com/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=2986">viewtopic.php?f=18&t=2986</a><!-- l -->

Possible Quotes: "No one deserves to die." "Everyone is so trigger-happy nowadays, I think we just need to take a moment to relax."

#9
Name: Richtoffen

Full name:
Dr. Edward Richtoffen

Source:
Call of Duty Black Ops 2: Zombies - Map Pack: Origins, right after upgrading the Lightning Staff.

Appearance:
[Image: Edward_Richtofen_Photo_Origins_BOII.jpg]
History: Dr. Edward Richtoffen is the former head of the Nazi Research Group during World War II called, "Group 935." 935 was tasked with finding a way to advance the Nazi War Machine, locating something that would give Germany an edge in the war. This led to the discovery of Element 115, an element not of this world. Richtoffen was a brilliant scientist, quite absorbed in his work to benefit the Fatherland. Using this new-found element, he made great strides in technology and science, and used these advancements to aid Germany in the war effort by creating things like weapons, medicine, and much more. Including Giant FRIGGEN ROBOTS.
-ahem-
But that's besides the point.
This was all well and good, until scouts discovered a rather large deposit of 115 in Northern France. Group 935 immediately mobilized to go recover it, marveling at the luck that they had had. Up until this point, element 115 was in short supply, and only very diminutive deposits and veins had been located. When the entirety of the research team made it to the battlefields of Northern France, Richtoffen set to work immediately. 115 was excavated in vast, quantities, and brought back so that Dr. Richtoffen and the other scientists could examine it and test it's properties even further. Richtoffen soon became obsessed with his work, and even began to display signs of paranoia and schizophrenia. The other scientists often talked of how they heard him speaking, shouting even, to no one but himself.
Dr. Ludvig Maxis, A fellow scientist of Group 935, was worried about his colleague and friend, and even went at lengths to prevent Edward from working. That is, until he heard the voices as well. The voice of a little girl, Samantha, who claimed that she was his daughter. Samantha was apparently from a different dimension altogether, one called Agartha. In Agartha, there was a powerful spectral force known as Aether. Samantha was in control of this power, and thus, she controlled them. Them. This made little sense, until the Unearthing.
The soldiers digging in the excavation site did not know what powers they were toying with. They were simply doing what they were told to; dig up the glowing blue rocks and bring them back to the nerds. And they were okay with this: it was a relatively safe posting, one more or less away from the bullets and bombshells. And then, they dug up one too many glowing rocks. An infection ravaged the front lines from the inside out, men dying only to resurrect moments later with a desire for the flesh and blood of their former brothers-in-arms. Zombies.
Samantha, from her place in Agartha, was able to assume mild control over the zombies, but considering she was just a child, she could not directly influence their actions. They were her lifeline to the real world, and how she got what she wanted out of it. And right now she wanted to go home. She convinced Maxis to betray Richtoffen, which in the end only led Maxis to getting infected himself. Richtoffen performed field surgery on his former friend, removing the brain and pickling it to keep the organ from expiring. By the time the operation was finished, the doors to his bunker were bashed in, and Richtoffen found himself being confronted by members of each world power: Tank Dempsey, from America, Takeo Masaki, from Japan, and Nikolai Belinski from Russia.
Forced to work together for their mutual survival, the uneasy allies banded together as a cohesive fighting force against the undead. This unlikely band of warriors is now the new "Group 935." Together, they began the steps necessary to release Samantha from Agartha and the Aether she controlled, and hopefully set everything right... But Richtoffen had plans for the Aether after all was said and done.

Goals and motivations: While the Omniverse does intrigue and beguile the scientist in Richtoffen, he is still consumed with his work back on Earth. He does plan to study this world and its inhabitants as much as he can, but the end game is to leave this dreadful place and resume his plan to seize control of Agartha from Samantha. Who knows? Perhaps he can obtain some samples of this "Omnium."
Richtoffen will locate Omni and ask that he be sent back to earth to resume his life's work, possibly with some sort of Aid. His troubled mental state is causing complications for him to think that far ahead.

Personality: Richtoffen appears level-headed yet paranoid. His mental state is slowly unraveling, and being pulled into the omniverse certainly did not help. He can be very calculating and cold, but such is the life of a scientist during war. He is almost certainly by no means of the word friendly, but perhaps this is only because he's more focused with not dying. It is also of note that he has a strange, often times morbid sense of humor. Richtoffen is quite ambitious, yet cautious. In other words, an opportunist, but he knows when he cannot win.

Possible Reactions:
This wouldn't be the first time he has had to team up with people who would, in any other situation, be his enemies. Richtoffen can be quite cold and ruthless at times, but he understands the necessity of teamwork and co-operation. Depending on how long the journey is, his mental state may deteriorate to dangerous levels... Without attention, that could become a problem. I think the biggest problem, however, is going to be comprehending flying ponies.

Relationships:
He was the only one of Group 935 to be transported to the omniverse. Richtoffen faces an uncertain future, alone.

Combat Style: Before he was transported to the Omniverse, Richtoffen was able to craft the Kemat's Bite with the aid of his unlikely friends. Kemat's Bite is a weapon of great power resembling a staff, crowned with a violet crystal. It is ornate, yet has a certain steam-punk like quality. The Kemat's Bite literally shoots lightning bolts that penetrate through dozens of bodies at a time. It can also be charged up, which releases an orb of static electricity that arcs bolts of lighting to nearby foes. It also has retractrable blades fixated to the end of the staff, that allow it to function as if it were a scythe, should the need arise, but Richtoffen is no heavy hitter. Besides combat efficiency, It also has Sehkmet's Vigor attatched to the shaft, which shoots an orb of healing energy to allies. This can heal them from near death situations, but requires a good aim. The real fault with the staff is that if it is not replenished with electricity, or some other form of viable energy, it will run out of juice until it reboots itself. In emergencies like this, Richtoffen also has a Boomhilda, which is a Mauser C23 Pistol Upgraded with the use of element 115. Essentially, its a laser pistol.

Skills: Richtoffen is a scientist, first and foremost. This makes him quite the intelligent problem solver. However, he also received mild military training from the German Forces. He can effectively aim and shoot a gun, and is quite proficient with his Lightning Staff.

Extra: Richtoffen is no stranger to death and strife. He has been through many ordeals at this point in his life. He is also aware that things such as these are simply endless cycles just waiting to be broken. His endless cycle on Earth has been broken only to be replaced with this, a much more dangerous game. Richtoffen is a dangerous man. He is unafraid to do dangerous things to himself, and to others, because of that gut feeling he gets that he WILL be back.
Oh. And he has a pretty thick German accent. (To save myself from having to type zis and zat and zey and vhat)

Possible Quotes: "Do not be afraid of death! Be afraid of the Doctor!" - Referring to himself when killing zombies.
"Such Sparks it creates! Wunderbar!" - Upon Building the Lightning Staff
"Omnium?... I shall call it Element 116!" Upon discovering Omnium and its properties for the first time.

Name: Lyra

Full name: Unknown

Source: The Legend of Zelda/Original

Appearance:
(not pictured: blue eyes)
History:
One of the many children orphaned as a result of the Hyrule Civil War, Lyra was separated from her parents when she was still barely a newborn. As a result, she never knew who they were, nor did she have any recollection of the home she might have once had. The only relic that remained of her original life was her name — it was apparently inscribed in the blanket she was wrapped in when they found her, a blanket that was lost when it was subsequently given away to the other children that required its warmth and comfort.

Her earliest memories mostly consisted of her days in the overcrowded orphanage in the Hyrule Castle Town. It wasn't a pleasant existence — it was cramped, smelly and the understaffed caretakers could not give them as much attention as they needed. But for Lyra and others like her, it was the only thing they had — for all its inadequacies, it was still a place they could call home, a place where they could find some measure of happiness in their troubled existence.

But even that did not last. When Ganondorf seized the throne of Hyrule, his troops flooded the Castle Town, burning and pillaging in their wake. The surviving residents were forced to abandon their ruined homes and flee elsewhere. Not even the orphanage was spared from destruction. Driven out of their only shelter, the caretakers and their charges followed the lead of the other refugees and did their best to make their way to Kakariko Village.

The situation became increasingly worse as the Gerudo King solidified his rule. In order to build his tower and maintain his vast army, he culled any services he deemed unnecessary and imposed heavy taxes on the populace. On top of this, the dark clouds that had covered the land as a result of his evil sometimes caused crops to fail. This had catastrophic consequences for the people of Hyrule, but none were hit harder by this than those who were already poor and downtrodden...including the orphans. With no one to feed and care for them, they were left to fend for themselves and abandoned to their fates. Over the years, many would succumb to hunger, disease and violence.

Like her desperate peers, Lyra resorted to petty thievery in order to survive. But Ganondorf's regime maintained a 'zero tolerance' policy towards crime, so punishments for even the most minor offences were swift and brutal. The guards also didn't like the guttersnipes, calling them 'rats' and sometimes hunting them for sport. It was only through skill, cunning and a fair bit of luck that Lyra managed to avoid a gruesome fate on many occasions. Some of the other orphans she worked with, however, weren't so fortunate and came back severely beaten or amputated....if they came back at all.

But this cruel and inhumane treatment also pushed the girl to fight back, at least in ways that she could. Not only did she make it a point to make the guards and other lackeys of the regime the targets of her thefts and other mischief, she also aided elements of the resistance that were present in and near Kakariko. Though too young to fight herself, she still acted as an informant and courier. It was thanks in part to her efforts that the resistance managed to persevere in that area and continued to make life miserable for the authorities.

For many years, it seemed as though all those efforts would be for naught and that the nightmare that had befallen the land would never end. But one day, the Hero of Time triumphed over Ganondorf and the Seven Sages were able to seal him away. Not only did this lift the darkness that covered Hyrule, news of Ganondorf's defeat and the fall of his tower spread like wildfire. This sparked an open revolt against what remained of the regime. Due to the immense power vacuum left behind, the once mighty Ganondorf's army rapidly fell apart under pressure and many of the former lackeys either surrendered or fled for their lives.

When peace returned to Hyrule, Lyra was overjoyed. After so much pain and grief, after having to watch so many people she grew to care about die or disappear right in front of her eyes, she had hoped she would finally have a chance at a better life — a chance to be truly happy. But fate had other designs for her. Before she could truly enjoy the benefits of Ganondorf's fall with the rest of the populace, she was whisked away from Hyrule by an unknown force and she found herself within the Omniverse. Appearing within the Nexus, she wandered around frightened and confused until she made her way to Camelot with the help of some guards.

Though the situation there was certainly not as bad as it was in occupied Kakariko, life in the lower tiers of Minas Tirith was still difficult and grim. This was particularly true for Lyra, who experienced the racism that ran rampant in Camelot. The humans feared her, believing her to be an 'elf witch', and treated her with hostility. Meanwhile, a significant portion of the non-human population considered her 'too human' to be trusted. As a result, the girl was forced to fend for herself, continuing her life of crime and eking out an existence as best as she could.

Thanks to her wit and resourcefulness, she had managed to live a reasonably good life for a street urchin, even managing to secure herself a small luxury (like a bath) on occasion. But the prejudice she had to endure day after day ensured that she would continue to feel unwanted and lonely, even more so than she did in Hyrule. So in spite of her best efforts, she remained unhappy and her situation became an increasing burden on her soul. She wondered what was the point of it all, why was she even there...if there was any place in this world or any other for her.

Little did she realise that, one day, an opportunity would present itself....an opportunity to finally learn at least some of the answers to the questions that had been plaguing her.
Goals and motivations: Having lived a life full of trials and hardships, Lyra lacks any sort of grand aspirations. Fame, power, fortune....she is keenly aware of the fact that all of those things are out of reach for her, nor does she particularly desire them; keeping her belly full and enjoying an occasional bath is enough for her. But there is one thing that she does truly wish for above all.

Not only did she lose her family at a very early age, the friends she had made over the years all either met a premature end or disappeared. As a result, she had always felt like she was adrift, like there was no one place where she truly belonged. For this reason, she had always desired a place she could call her own, people she could call family....people that fate wouldn't take away from her shortly thereafter.

Why do they want to find Omni? After arriving in the Omniverse, Lyra quickly learned the basic facts about the universe, including that she was a Secondary and that people like her were brought there by Primes. Though she did not know who the Prime that summoned her was, the girl grew to resent that person. They took her away from Hyrule just as things were getting better and she ended up in yet another wretched place. Part of her wondered if she would ever be happy in the Omniverse and if there was any way she could return to Hyrule.

Yet, in spite of her rancour, Lyra was also immensely curious about this Prime. After all, during her entire stay in Camelot, she had not seen a single familiar face. Who were they? Why did they bring her to the Omniverse? How did they know her? It was these questions, more than the cold and the rain, that kept her awake at night. She wanted to know who this Prime was. She wanted to confront them and demand answers.

But whether it was about methods of escaping the Omniverse or finding out the identity of the Prime that summoned her, she knew there was only one person who had those answers, one entity she could turn to....Omni.

Personality: Openly, Lyra tends to behave in a very energetic fashion. She is upbeat and full of confidence when in a good mood, while a foul mood makes her blunt and easy to anger. But beneath that facade lies a lonely and frightened soul that is hesitant to open her heart to anyone, lest they be taken away from her like so many before.

However, it is to those that manage to befriend her that Lyra shows her kind and gentle side. And in those times when the people she cares about are in trouble, her courage and strength of character manage to shine brightly.

Possible Reactions: Being a child of the streets, Lyra tends to be very accepting of all kinds of people. Anything new to her is more likely to elicit curiosity and awe from her than fear. Coming from a society with limited forms of technology, she is especially easily impressed by various machines and gadgets.

However, for a thief, the girl also has a surprisingly strong sense of justice. If she sees any sort of act or behaviour that she considers wrong or that even simply rubs her the wrong way, she will loudly call that person out on it and will easily get into a heated argument. If something particularly vexes her, she isn't afraid to even kick that person, though any show of force will usually have her back off and retreat rather quickly.

Lyra also has a tendency to behave as a motivator, constantly encouraging people and pushing them onward no matter how difficult the situation may be.

Relationships: During her stay in Camelot, Lyra has gotten to know some of the individuals that reside in the lower tiers of Minas Tirith, usually the poorer or shadier kind. However, due to being a frequent victim of racism, she hasn't been able to form any strong relationships with them. Combined with the lack of people she knew from Hyrule, Lyra has mostly been forced to contend with life in the Omniverse by herself.

Combat Style: Having frequently faced enemies who were much larger and stronger than her, the street urchin is not a fan of direct confrontations and will usually opt to hide or run away. But if forced to fight, Lyra generally favours using traps and deception to keep her enemies at a range while she shoots at them with her bow from a distance. Though quite capable of thinking on her feet, she generally prefers to fight on terrain she is familiar with, where she could use all of its various features to her advantage.

Skills: The consistent fight for survival has forced Lyra to be extremely independent and resourceful, always trying to make the most out of what she has to work with. The challenges and dangers she has faced as a thief and courier have not only made her incredibly quick with her hands and feet, but have prompted her to think up plans and actions on the fly. And while usually not one for diplomacy, she can put on a cute face if she thinks it will help her get her way.

Though hardly a great warrior, she is surprisingly talented with a bow. She is even capable of making rudimentary arrows of her own, provided she can find/salvage the necessary materials and some arrowheads.
