Bludd 'n' Hammer to the Deep!
#1
Thor watched as Mjolnir entered the portal before him and it felt as though time slowed. It was a strange feeling. Thor new he was going fast enough that the time between his hammers entrance into the portal and is own should be at most a second. But the strangeness was not limited to slowness. Thor felt weak as he watched his Hammer enter the portal, he felt vulnerable. He had only ever felt this way once before, when his father had cast his hammer from him and sent them both to earth. Then he had been arrogant and prideful, and had refused to believe that even at his weakest he was anywhere near a normal human in strength, but now he was humble enough to recognize the feeling for what it was. He felt mortal.

Thor entered the portal and hit the ground roughly, his flight giving faltering as his strength had. He groaned. How can this be? He pulled his hammer close, gripping the handle tightly and felt his strength returning. Thank the gods! I have not been forsaken! Thor had for a moment that he had somehow angered his father to the point of true banishment. Not to earth but to somewhere he could not return from. But such was not the case. Thor began to pick himself up off the cobble stone ground, using his hammer as a momentary crutch, in time to see more white soldiers with plastic armor and black rifles moving in on him. His strength was returning quickly, but the sudden lose had fatigued him more than any blow could have. Still he was relieved to here Bluddflagg emerge from the portal with a grunt.

As Thor rose to his full height he realized they were in a sunlit court yard with palm trees, obviously planted and maintained by an intelligent hand, around them. A large sign could be seen not to far away that read 'Welcome to Costa del Sol' in bright colors with a picture of a beach making the sign's background. Thor raised his Hammer in a stance ready to throw.

"Are you ready my friend? For the gods favor us with more fools to fight!"

Bluddflagg hit the portal only a few seconds after Thor, feeling himself stretch out, feeling every slow down and seem to break apart. The ork never did like tellyporta's, and this wasn't any better, it was perhaps a bit more relaxed than the frenetic, warp based travel that most tellyporta's worked on, but he still didn't like it! He felt lighter than was possible, as if he were nothing but light, nothing but energy bouncing around a blank emptiness with no end, no boundaries and no limit. An ork mind, even one as clever as Bludfflagg's, was not built to process and expound upon such strange contradictions and physical impossibilities! Then, he came right back outside, stumbling onto some kind of tropical paradise, cobblestones beneath his heavy boots, a wide open blue sky, palm trees, some kind of courtyard they were in, and Thor saying something about fools to fight.

That was about when Bluddflagg looked up and saw the same pansy gits as before, well the same kind of pansy git. His chest was still blackened and withered from the battle too, with a few black spots still blotching his proud green hide here and there. He wasn't in nearly as much pain as two hours ago, but he was still hurt, and now more of them were showing up to hurt him some more! The Ork growled out as he stared at them, his red eye blazing with anger like a fire. "You lot 'ave ten seconds ta tell me what ya did with me Spacey Hulk, afore we'ze stomp tha lot of ya!" This time at least, Bluddflagg actually seemed intent on getting some kind of information from the Stormtroopers, if they were willing to speak and get it that was.

When Bluddflagg did not immediately charge into the enemy Thor was about to turn back and question his Orkish companion. Then Bluddflagg spoke.

Quote: "You lot 'ave ten seconds ta tell me what ya did with me Spacey Hulk, afore we'ze stomp tha lot of ya!"

Ten seconds! By Odin's beard they should already be dead! Then Thor hesitated. The captain was right. He was being smart. There were less of the soldiers than last time, but Bluddflagg was right to try to talk to them. Neither of them had recovered from the last fight fully, but more than that they needed information. Thor lowered his hammer then used it to jester back at the captain. He made a show of stepping aside to reveal the full gruesomeness of his companions.

"You should listen to my friend! He is prone to crushing puny armored men!"

The ork was not happy, but he wanted info, and pansy Eldar had a tendency to want to listen to themselves speak at least. If they decided to fire anyways, then fine, Bluddflagg would break the gits down and stomp the lot of them! He was not worried in the slightest...okay maybe he was slightly worried, but he waited. The stormtroopers, only four of them here, rather than the nine Bluddflagg had originally fought with Thor here. Fortunately, luck was on the side of both of them, the Stormtroopers took a step back, eyeing Thor and his gigantic Ork of a companion. It did not take a genius to figure out what had happened, they must be new primes, completely unaware of what had happened to them or where they were..and they were mistaking the stormtroopers for the ones who had done this to them. Also fortunately, these stormtroopers hadn't had the time to hear of the great battle at the fountain, they likely would find out very soon...but it hadn't happened yet.

The leader of this small squad lifted his hands up trying to calm the situation. "Whoa there, there's no reason for violence here. I understand that you're both very confused, but first let me say that we are not the ones who brought you here. We're stormtroopers in service to the Empire. We, like you, are stuck here in this place, it's called the Omniverse. I understand this must be quite confusing, but if you'll relax and come with us, we'll be happy to explain everything you need to know."

The Ork though, did not trust these pansy gits, cracking his neck slowly as he stared down the stormtrooper, who was far smaller than him...most gits were really. "Yer gonna tell us right 'ere. I don' trust yah pansy gits fer a moment. I ain' followin' no one, nowheres, until I know wot's goin' on."
#5
Thor listened to the supposed leader of the troopers. His hands were up and his gun was down in an effort to keep the situation from exploding. He was being very calm, some people would even say diplomatic. Thor found it very patronizing. But he stayed his hammer. The trooper asked them to follow him and Thor was about to protest, but the captain beat him to it.

Quote:"Yer gonna tell us right 'ere. I don' trust yah pansy gits fer a moment. I ain' followin' no one, nowheres, until I know wot's goin' on."

Thor saw the grip of some of the stormtroopers tighten on their weapons and he did the same. The leader, however, sensed the rise in tension and began speaking more urgently. "Ok, ok! Here, there, it doesn't matter. It's nothing to get violent over. We don't know where your, um, Spacey Hulk, is that what you called it? We don't know where it is. We're all in the same boat here!" Then the leader stopped talking suddenly, his head turned slightly as though listening to something. When he spoke again it was obvious it wasn't to Thor or Bluddflagg. "Nine troopers? And what was the prime's description? Two primes...?" With those last words the leaders head turned back to the two primes in front of him. Thor raised his hammer.

The Ork stood there, waiting rather impatiently, his one red eye moving from trooper to trooper as the leader tried to explain. The fact that he was essentially repeating himself did nothing for Bluddflagg's temper. If he wasn't the one who brought Bluddflagg here, then of course he didn't know where his Zogging Spacey Hulk was! That went without saying, but if they didn't bring him here, who did?! Who in Mork's good name was that pansy Omni git! He was getting really furious, starting to ignore his pain as the constant Orky itch to fight and duff gits started swelling within his chest. The fool wasn't telling them anything, and then he started talking on his zogging communicator, ignoring Bluddflagg, which was just getting him angrier and angrier. Then the man started talking into it, not quiet enough to keep Thor and old Kaptin Bluddflagg from hearing what he had to say...and it didn't take a Mek Boy to figure out that he was talking about the slaughter at the fountain. So, that made it very clear...the storm troopers were going to be a problem, and were not going to give Bluddflagg any answers. So he took matters into his own hands.

The Ork let out a sudden, blistering bellow, lurching forward into the storm troopers. These ones hadn't spread out like the group of nine, as the primes hadn't been immediately hostile. Thus, he charged right towards three of them, right as they were still trying to lift their rifles to attack. That was no good though, Bluddflagg did not need anymore burns from those stupid shootahs they used! One massive, booted foot lifted up as the stormtroopers attempted to start backing up, one to his left, right, and backing up right in front of him...but they weren't moving fast enough. With a tremendous crash, Bluddflagg slammed his boot into the ground, a vicious stomp of such force that it actually let out a powerful shockwave, it slammed into the three stormtroopers and sent them flying, rifles flying from the hands of two of them as they were sent hurtling to a sliding stop. Dazed, stunned...but not quite dead, not yet at least. The captain had been the only one out of range, and well...Thor was probably going to take care of him!

Thor heard the ork's ragging shout from behind him, then he felt the massive brute rush passed him like a Jotun frost beast. Thor had to admire Bluddflagg's physical prowess as he ground pounded the soldiers across the small courtyard. It wasn't something Thor had never seen, but it was impressive. Then Thor noticed one of the soldiers was still standing. How considerate of Bluddflagg. He left one. Thor smiled. He liked Bluddflagg.

"Hammer Throw!" Thor shouted before releasing Mjolnir. The last trooper went down. He would not be getting back up.

Stormtroopers went flying, but Bluddflagg must be getting rusty, he hadn't actually taken any of them out, he had simply scattered them. They were starting to get back up, but well, the impact and heavy blow had stunned them at the very least, and now Bluddflagg's lumbering bulk was not as much of a disadvantage. He hurtled towards two of them, grabbing them by their helmets before they could manage to get up and rush out of the way, and then simply smashed their helmets together with a sickening crack and drop them. Of course, that left the one he hadn't rushed towards, the odd one out who was still trying to get back to his feet. Bluddflagg had left Thor two...but now, it was likely only a few minutes before an alarm began sounding, alerted to the presence of the formidable duo.

"Bah, I need me shootah or choppah fer a big foight, an' dese pansy shootah's are way to small fer an Ork."

Thor looked at his larger comrade, Bluddflagg was right. He was powerful, but so was Thor. Thor looked at his hammer. A man can only be so strong without a weapon. His comrade needed some suitable weapons. Thor caught his hammer. One of the troopers was still alive. Maybe Thor would think of something while he laid into the puny man. He had to think before he hit. By Odin's beard, that was it! The soldier! Thor would make the trooper tell him where Bluddflagg could find weapons worthy of his power. Thor let his hammer fly, purposely missing the target. Thor rushed the stormtrooper, grabbing him by the arm.

"Tell me where my friend can find weapons worthy of his might before my hammer returns or you shall meet it head on."

"We-weapons? You can make them out of Omnilium, it should come naturally." The trooper spoke quickly. "Don't kill me!"

Thor nodded. He threw the trooper down and caught his hammer. Then he looked back over his shoulder.

"Can you do as he says? Or should he feel the weight of my hammer?" Thor raised Mjolnir as the trooper scrabbled to his feet. The trooper began to run.

The hefty, massive ork turned as the stormtrooper spilled the beans on omnilium and being able to summon one's weapons, as if it should be as effortless and easy as stomping on someone's head! Did these gits take him for a Weird Boy? Summoning up crazy warp storms and bolts?! Ah well, the git would pay for it if the stormtrooper was lying, what with Thor holding him right there to feel it, so why not? Bluddflagg considered this for several moments, something that came naturally eh? It sounded like something a Weird Boy would do, but they always described it as reaching through themselves....so he tried that...and found it surprisingly easy, almost as soon as he tried, he found himself 'contacting' some weird wellspring of...well, energy! His curiosity was piqued for sure and for certain, and he tried to bring it out...an orb of shimmering rainbow colors slowly started to appear in front of Bluddflagg, large and shimmering like some form of strange bubble...but this was one minute into what would be, at the minimum, a three minute summoning process...and alarms were starting to sound throughout the village. Bluddflagg's head jerked up from the bubble as he looked about, his one red eye glaring at the heavens. "Ah naff! I think the git's roight about this Thor, but the zoggin' things takin' forever ta make! I'll need time for dis, so either ya need ta keep dis gits boyz offa me, or we should commandeer a boat and git outta here!"

"As much as I want to smash through wave upon wave of these fools," Thor motioned at the trooper who was getting ever farther. "I think it would be best if we found a boat until you are armed." Thor was proud of himself. He had chosen the smart option. Then he looked around. He had know idea which way lead to shore, much less a boat. Well, even if they didn't find a boat maybe just looking for one would give Bluddflagg enough time to finish whatever it was he was making. Thor looked around again.

"This way!" Thor shouted before running directly away from the portal that had brought them here.

Bluddflagg looked about with that beady eye, the alarm still blaring through the island of Costa Del Sol. Yes, definitely best to get out of here. He might be a tough Ork, and Thor might be a tough humie, but it was still just two of them, and there were likely dozens of these pansies, they'd go down eventually if they stuck around to fight. Bluddflagg rushed after the Asgardian as Thor took off, his foosteps heavy and crashing as he thundered off. He tried to keep focusing on the item...but the movement, it made his concentration waver, the light vanishing and sinking back into his form. As they thundered out of the courtyard, Bluddflagg tried again to try and conjure it up..but it was clear what the problem was.

"Ahh, this 'naff powah doesn' work if Ah'm runnin', I gots ta stand still. Let's git off this rock." He said. Outside the courtyard, was into the town proper on Costa Del Sol, well more like a tropical resort city..and stormtroopers were barreling down from the left, but the street ahead, well if this was an island a straight line was the best path towards the ocean! "Keep goin' straight there Thor, only hit wot's roight in front of ya!" Bluddflagg bellowed out in his brutish, hulking voice, before the figure started striding forward to suit his own words, bolts of fire starting to fill the air, fortunately not too accurate at this distance...although a few would hit the great, twelve foot form of the Ork.

Thor heard the orc and was more than happy to oblige. He spun his hammer for a moment before releasing, launching forward into a low flight. It wasn't long before he started to feel the heat of lasers flying passed him. Then an all-terrain vehicle spun out into Thor's path with several troopers firing from it's roll cage. Thor took a shot to the shoulder causing his flight to falter. Thor slammed into the ground with minimal skidding thanks to the weight and make of his armor. Thor dragged himself to his feet only to take another shot to the chest. He readied his hammer as he forced the seering pain from the forefront of his mind. He would destroy these fools. Thor bolted toward the car as fast as he could taking another shot to the chest and knocking another away with his hammer. When he was close enough he leaped into the air bringing his hammer down on the vehicle's hood.

These gits were persistent, the Ork would give them that, and their shoota's definitely stung, and he was still healing from the last battle with these gits, but he wasn't going to get stopped here. He ran along with Thor, the two sprinting over the road, well Thor was flying, now that was a neat trick, he'd need to see if he could figure out how the humie did it later. For now he kept his attention forward, on the all terrain vehicle in front of them, and the storm troopers that came out of it. They opened fire, and Bluddflagg saw Thor tumble and slide, but the humie wasn't dead, he was pushing himself back up. Good, Bluddflagg's jaws opened, yellowed tusks on display as he let out a loud bellow. It was nothing more or less than the titular, infamous warcry of Orks across the galaxy! "WAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGH!" He roared out as he rushed forward. The ork saw Thor going for the vehicle, and so Bluddflagg rushed the troopers, blasts pelting his green hide, creating stinging black welts and in one lucky shot hitting cracked black skin that had not yet healed. It made it black further and ichor oozed out down the ork's chest, which served only to anger him.

He plowed into the midst of them, and again his heavy boot came up, and then down as he Stomped hard! The stormtroopers were sent flying in multiple directions, rolling, tumbling and sliding. Right about this time, the vehicle lifted up from the force of the hammer hitting its hood, before it crashed back down with a sizable dent. Bluddflagg did not stop to admire such a potent hammer though, and took off around the vehicle. "C'mon Thor, afore they get back up! I can smell da salt, we've jus' got ta get a bit further!"

Quote:"C'mon Thor, afore they get back up! I can smell da salt, we've jus' got ta get a bit further!"

Thor leaped onto the hood of the vehicle, using it as a spring board before launching once more into the air. He hoped his companion was right, because as much as Thor hated to admit it, they were not winning this fight. Fleeing was their best chance and that chance was dwindling the longer they remained under fire. Thor flew above and behind the ork trying to provide him with some cover from the ranged assaults, but Bluddflagg was proving to large to adequately defend. This was bad. Thor felt a searing sensation as a blast struck him in the side. This was very bad. They needed to get out of this gauntlet of doom before the constant enemy fire finally wore them down. Then Thor saw it. The Docks. Before them was a crowd massive enough to provide them the cover they needed. The way the people hustling and bustling about each other there was no way someone could get a clear shot off in that mess. More importantly beyond the crowd was the open sea and ships galore. And it was all an easy sprint away. They just had to make it to the crowd. Thor could drop out of flight and they could find a ship and be off and away. They just had to make it to the crowd.

This was truly a Naff situation they had arrived in, but they could make it. There wasn't anyone who could stop Kaptin Bluddflagg, not even that Kyras git had managed that! He would be zogged by Gork and Mork himself before he let these shiny pansies take him down! He kept rumbling forward and there...there was a whole bunch of humies just mingling in a great crowd, they didn't seem to even realize what was going on! The Ork just kept going though, as the hail of energy bolts continued to thunder at them. He felt more shots strike his back, making the green skin blacken and crack, but he kept rushing, kept going. The people were turning now as Bluddflagg let out his usual, intense battlecry, the great waaaauuuugh of the ork! They were starting to split as they saw two people charging towards them, one a green skinned, tusked goliath, and with Imperial Stormtroopers firing and shooting after them!

However, once Bluddflagg, and hopefully his companion reached the crowds, even with them splitting, the storm troopers had to stop their wild spray. They would risk hitting civilians as the two barreled towards the docks, and had to rely on more carefully aimed shots, better shots sure...but also slower and less frequent!

As Thor flew toward the crowd he felt as though something was off. The crowd began to split and scatter before them. The bulk of the crowd was parting before them, but it wasn't just humans. There was a big blue man with a fin on his back, a humanoid turtle wearing a helmet, a girl with blue skin and no clothes, and it didn't stop there. The humans outnumbered these oddities, yet they were by no means uncommon among the crowd. Thor dropped into the swirling chaos that the crowd's panic had created, just in time for a troopers shot to sail through the spot he had been in. Thor didn't stop moving after hitting the ground, but now that they were among the crowd, he had know idea where to go next. He had little knowledge of what made a ship good or bad since the waters surrounding Asgard only went out a few miles before falling of the edge of the world.

"Bloodflag! I am unskilled in this domain. You find a ship, I will follow." Thor shouted over the churning masses.

The Ork managed to hear Thor's words, although people were starting to scream and panic. After all, when two people, one of them an armored tall man with a hammer, and the other a twelve foot, green skinned monstrosity, chased by stormtroopers, that's going to cause more than just a stir. It was easy to figure out that some kind of crime was going down and people were starting to rush to get away from them, but they weren't quite running fast enough to leave Thor and Bluddflagg open! They were hurtling along, sprinting steadily. Neither was the fastest creature around, that was for sure, but they didn't have to get that far, and neither was super slow either. Then, it came, the satisfactory sound of Bluddflagg's heavy boots slamming on wooden planks, they were on the docks! His red eye peered about, looking for a suitable vessel, he could pilot it, Orks had a knack for using anything they got their hands on, before breaking it down and rebuilding it to be proper Orky.

There, was a long, sleek sailing vessel, bigger than most of the others, but it might be slower, but maybe sturdier. There was a smaller one, still with a big deck that could have room beneath for them to stay in depending on the engine sizes. His eye peered about and he barreled along. "Dis way Thor! All aboard for fairer waters!" The great pirate roared, leaping off the docks and landing on a middling sized ship, it would have a small cabin, no separate rooms bar the bathroom, but it wouldn't be as slow as the bigger ones. At least, that would be the case if this weren't the Omniverse, where every transport had a speed cap, but the Ork was not yet aware of this piece of information.

Thor saw his companion leap onto a ship of relatively average size compared to the ships on either side of it. He heard his brutish companion yell for him to follow, promising fairer waters. Thor followed Bludd onto the ship with a thunderous landing. He swung his hammer through the air, turning with a flourish of his cape to face the shore. He watched the troopers drive toward the boat.

"I am the God of Thunder, and by the Hammer of Thor, you will know my wrath!" Thor twirled his hammer as if stirring a pot directly above him. The clouds began to move. The sky began to darken. He pointed his hammer at the troops. They stopped, preparing for the incoming attack. "THUNDER!"

There was a moment, the storm paused. Then nothing. The sky cleared. Thor looked at his hammer, then at the sky. The troops began to move again. The sky does not obey me hear. I can't wield the power of the storm. Thor turned to the captain.

"Get us out of here!"

Bluddflagg needed only a few moments to learn the controls. Orks were naturals with pretty much anything that wasn't super advanced. If it was more complex than a wheel, some levers, and some buttons then you just threw a Mekboy at it and they usually managed to simplify it quickly. This wasn't that complex, and the boat was starting to pull out away from the dock. Ropes snapped as they pulled away, picking up speed as potshots from the stormtroopers hit the hull of the boat. Not in the right places and not enough to sink it or put in any serious holes. Thor was doing some kind of crazy trick, calling up something and...it fizzed out. Well that was a fat lot of nothing! Still the Warboss wouldn't put him down any. This entire place was tricky, it might not involve those pansy gits, but humies could be every bit as deceitful especially when that inquisition or Chaos was involved. Bluddflagg had no idea which it was, but he was going to find out later, escape came first!

The boat was speeding out into the harbor now, rushing along as Bluddflagg just put the boat into full gear. There was a lurch as he roared out. "Hold on tight thar Thor! A good Ork don' know tha meanin' o' slow!" He was going right up to the eighty mile limit and he was getting there fast. Boats were rushing out of the way and the massive green skin was laughing. A bellowing coughing roar that sounded out loudly as the boat just went straight out of the harbor. Thanks to the very same limits, any pursuit by the Empire now wouldn't be able to cover the distance, and Bluddflagg was going to get a larger lead with every moment. His reckless movement too, if he didn't crash them, which Thor might have very good reason to be seriously worried about, they would be just fine! "Ahead an' onta tha open waters. Ain' no one wot can duff Kaptin Bluddflagg!"
