Basically, it was going to sort of a larger version of the Nexus, connecting to all the Main Verses, but being so large it would be impractical to use it for "fast travel" as people use the Nexus for. It would be a star-filled void, pretty much, with a mass of planetoids, space-stations, and Knowhere (being the "hub") floating in it. There would be no sun, to speak of, though on the Planetoids themselves a day and night cycle would occur for... reasons. The edges of the Verse would loop around on themselves, meaning the size would be "proportionally" the same as any other Verse and you wouldn't be able to, say, travel to another star system. The Planetoids would be small, but would have normal gravity, and while they might be similar to the Verses we already have (ie: forest planet, desert planet), they'd be something like 20 miles in diameter, so as not to decrease the importance of our current Verses.
I also have an introduction Saga in mind for it involving the Yeerk from Animorphs as the Bad Guys and a yet to be determined Good Guy Faction vying for dominance. The PCs would be put on sides as it would work via planetary conquest. The Faction that manages to take control of either all the Planetoids, or the opposing side's home Planet would be the dominant Faction in the Verse and the loser would be the "rebels". Players would, rather than dying when they would normally do so, be converted to the opposing Faction's side, so no one would need to worry about dying off and having to watch the Saga from the sidelines.
Oh! On a personal note, if we can manage to hash this out in time, I think this would be a fantastic thing to introduce on the Omniversary.

I think it would be cool if we had like, a "standard system" with at least a small sun and some slightly larger planetoids? That was you can have all the really fun realistic space battles that use gravity and planets as opposed to just a huge void. The planets don't have to be habitable, or even have atmosphere, but I feel like you cut out a lot of the possibilities when you remove larger objects.
In order to alleviate the issue of size, you could create relays that make each area of the verse "smaller" with just empty space in between.
We also have to consider RELATIVE size. 10 AU isn't a huge amount of space if you're travelling at interstellar speeds. If you're in a spacecraft (which you almost always would have to be outside of space stations and tiny habitable planetoids) the actual SIZE of the verse matters less.

Why not just make it that every planetoid, no matter its size, once you get inside one, you just jump into a mainverse that corresponds to it. Also, no FTL for some reason. Maybe make it a single star system with full sized planets, each planet corresponding to one of the eight verses. Still make space travel between each verse inconvenient than Nexus.
Thaal: I wanted to keep things smaller so the main Verses would maintain relevance. However, I wouldn't mind turning it into a sort of Solar System of sorts, which somewhat larger planets, some gas giants, asteroids, etc. I didn't include a sun mainly just because it didn't really seem necessary due to Omniphysics, and because I wanted Knowhere to be the "center" of the Verse, rather than a star. I still think having epic space battles in ships doesn't really require larger planets, or a star. In fact, most space battles in fiction tend to happen either in a void, or just off planet. Since the Planetoids exhibit gravity higher than their size would suggest, this can still happen. However, I think a size increase to about a 100 mile diameter for solid planets and 1000 or so for Gas Giants would be fine. How does that sound?
Carn: I specifically strayed away from that, just because I wanted people to be able to find planets from series they enjoy, such as Dune, Helios Prime, etc. And to maintain SOME degree of separation between this Verse and the others. This Verse WILL be huge, and the planetoids will be spread about fairly randomly (basically at the whim of the people roleplaying there). There will be very few "per-made" planets (Knowhere is the only one I have in mind so far), so Players can introduce ones of their own. Which goes back to the "small" planets part; I'm trying to keep people from creating something larger than our current Verses, and as I said, making them more or less moot.

As a player, I like this idea. It could definitely be something someone from a Space-faring Canon would enjoy.
Anyone have any ideas for a good guy, female Space Person to lead the "Good" faction?

Kortana from halo ? only one that comes to mind
I had a few in mind, but they either didn't seem to fit super well, or they had someone else from their Canon as an NPC already.
Captain Janeway (Star Trek)
Princess Leia (Star Wars)
Nova Prime (Guardians of the Galaxy)
And now:
Kortana (Halo)

Captain Janeway sounds like an interesting idea, I would avoid Leia though as it would be two factions with star wars characters at the top.
Ellen Ripley (Alien) is now a candidate as well.

I think Ellen Ripley would make a good faction member but I am not sure how good a leader she would be, she has always seemed more like a solider than a leader to me, although I guess it depends on how people write her.
Melissa Bergman (Metroid: Other M) is another option now. As are any other names suggested in this thread.

I think so long as we prevnt the planets below from being habitable, we can do whatever size or scale as we want, because the only actual places that the writers would have for their primes to move around in on foot would be in space ships or space stations.
But yeah, those size planetoids would be fine I think, so long as there's some gravity and shit to play with!
I think a big appeal of the Space Verse will be planetary exploration, though. But I figured even the smallest Planetoid would have Earth-Like gravity or more, so gravity wouldn't be an issue, unless the writer wanted it to be.

That's where this disconnect happened for me. I imagine if we wanna do planetary exploration that's where you'd run into issues.
Alternative suggestion: planet fade.
New and interesting planets coffee into and it if existence, seemingly at random. Entire planetary systems pop up and fade out over the course of a week. Some lady longer, some don't last as long.
The "core system" that Knowhere is located in sends to be fairly stable, and acts as a hub. When another system fades out, any characters or vessels find themselves back at the far edge of Knowhere space.
This way people can explore planets of any size, of any type and write the story they want to write without the fear that people will just use the Final Frontier as a replacement for every other verse. No bases can be made in anywhere but the hub system, etc etc

this makes a lot of sense, it could be explained that the system is a worm hole hot spot meaning that the way to get to different planets and systems is constantly changing .

I think it would be okay to have bases in the space verse...
...as personal star ships.
And, we dream of home I dream of life out of here Their dreams are small My dreams don't know fear I got my heart full of hope I will change everything No matter what I'm told How impossible it seems We did it before And we'll do it again We're indestructible Even when we're tired And we've been here before Just you and I
Don't try to rescue me I don't need to be rescued

Just take note how massive a spaceverse is... When I first suggested spaceverse, I only had something in mind to accomodate space colonies and short interplanetary travel things since what I had in mind was for that particular setting. A full scale Jumpspace capable of fading in and out star systems can be really huge. Also, things escalate quickly in space. I hope we don't get to a point where every peime has their own personal battleship base, lol.
Thinking all this through, I can safely say that Omniverse isn't ripe enough to expand to the stars, we haven't had much development in Camelot compared to Coruscant and a spaceverse will increase that gap. I suggest that Knowhere be some kind of "Eventverse" for now, maybe make in available for limited periods of time instead of changing everytime. Make the reason something like "Due to instability issues caused by Omnillium to the gate, Knowhere and its surrounding areas are only available for 3-5 IC days."
