A Seamless Roaming...?
#1
A nearby portal has opened letting the blunette come falling through before it momentarily closed behind the Koopa as he was falling towards what it seems to be a place of nothing. It didn't take long before he landed on what it seems to be a the roughness of the ground, only to become momentarily becoming dazed for a time.

Looks like he had a rough landing.

The Koopa rose his arm, momentarily rubbing his wavy blue hair, as he murmured, "Ugh..what in the world? That was rather odd, especially when I felt like the falling would seem to almost last an eternity. Time, itself, seemed to move slower for some reason,"

It didn't take long before the daze faded out and he was able to see everything, but the realization was shocking, as the blunette immediately sat up, getting on his feet and looked around at this empty place, almost breaking out in a cold sweat. Did something happened or was this on purpose and if so, who brought him here? What is this place? When was the end, if there is an end? Where is he even at? Why is everything so blank and most importantly, how did it exist? There are many questions that ran through his head and only so little answers were available.

'Calm yourself down Ludwig. No need for an overreaction, just focus on the problem and find a solution,' he thought to himself before he breathed in and out several times before he momentarily dusted himself off. A delayed reaction but it was necessarily.

"There must be some hint of an exit around here," he murmured to himself as his brain was at work, evaluating everything around him, surroundings and all. "Somehow..but if there is a will, there is a way as the saying goes,"

Nothing gets by Ludwig that easily with him being the observant one of the Koopalings. In fact, that was a defining trait he had besides his magic, which reminded him: did he still have his scepter?

He absolutely couldn't possibly be without that of all things!

He checked around him for a bit and when he had nothing, he sighed as he crossed his arms and tilted his head. Great! What is he going to do now? He couldn't just be without his scepter!

..or wait..

By calming down a bit and taking the time to remembering his mentor's words, he mentioned about being able to summon his scepter to him in case of emergencies as it was required for all of the Koopalings to know of in case they were caught in a situation.

'Your scepters are of your magical power. If one is to be able to summon their scepter, you must focus your energy into materializing the scepter and only then, you will be at an advantage. Ludwig, I trust that you will remember my words should you find yourself in trouble,'

Ludwig rose his hand out as he concentrated - a rainbow sphere of Omninlium forming - channeling energy through it into summoning his scepter. It took about three minutes of concentration for a flash of blue light to appear, before the scepter appeared and he firmly grasped it with his hand.

"Kamek, your words of wisdom will never leave me," he murmured before he lowered his arm with the scepter, confident that he has his scepter back before he put it away. He had no doubt that he would get it back, but then again..there was that element of uncertainty lingering..

He has a feeling that the road ahead of him will be a long one.

"Perhaps, this would be an opportune time to start to get a more direct hands-on experience," he mused, fully satisfied with having his scepter with him once more. "After all, surely there are possibilities.."

Just the thought of it encouraged the Koopa to start moving on.
Maybe this wouldn't be a bad thing right? Giving to the fact that despite of this place being a lifeless white void, he was taking the time to enjoy the peace and silence. It's better than having your hair pulled or even interrupted by the other siblings back at the Castle, though he did miss the sound of his instruments and the occasional relaxing during a thunderstorm, listening to the rain pour down against the window.

Perhaps, he should hurry up before he thinks more about it and so he rushed onwards deeper into the unknown reaches of this seemingly endless void.

As the Koopa continued on, he eventually slowed back down to save some energy in case something was to come up and foolhardily ambush him. You just don't know about what can lurk in this place, even if it is empty and lifeless, but then again, it could be something trying to mess with his head. Of course, if someone demented like Iggy was here, he would simply go mad given enough time and if it was Lemmy, the poor 'child' would be bored.

Preferably, the one individual that he likes to see to mess up more than anything was Bowser Jr., the Heir to the Koopa Throne, and to be honest, he would absolutely enjoy throwing the child into this seamless void and see how he would like it being trapped and crying his tears out, begging for freedom.

Just call it an evil thought of his and boy, does Ludwig find it absolutely amusing. With a crooked smile seeping across his face, he rose his hand and chuckled lightly to himself the more he thought of it. Oh how that would be an ideal day indeed!

At the most, atleast he was preoccupied while traversing, but even that wouldn't last forever.

Later on down the road, he came to a stop only to see what it seems to be a massive hourglass of sorts in the distance. Now, why would he see this? Was his eyes really deceiving him as of this was played as a mirage or was this real? He wasn't certain but it was an alluring point of interest with slight change of the usual empty scenery.

Maybe, this hourglass was a sign to him.

Carefully, he resumed walking over to this strange structure and some landscaping from a distance, only to come closer and closer. Once he had approached close enough, immediately he began to observe it, walking around it with interest before stopping again, this time looking towards it and bringing up more questions.

With furrowed eyes, he crossed his arm and rose his free hand against the side of his muzzle with pushing down several of his fingers. In short, today just seems the type of day that Ludwig questions everything, but alas he has good reason to for he is in an unfamiliar territory.

"The only structure that is found in the literal sense of nowhere is here? Hmm..to it's credit, it is something rather than nothing, mostly because I was starting to get tired of walking around this place," he murmured before he walked left and right before he stopped. "Maybe there's more to this that I am missing?"

He eventually turned around and noticed some seemingly nearby gates from the horizon of his location, well, eight of them to be precise, each having a unique characteristic about them. Eventually, he lowered his arms and looked onward in the direction of the gate that has caught his eye; however to which of the eight gates he chooses, that is a mystery onto itself as he showed to be in a bit of a hurry to explore.

If it's time to take action, it's now or never!
