Character name: Ruby Rose
Character source: RWBY by Rooster Teeth
Character history: (Written from Ruby's perspective) Finally! My second year has begun! I can't wait to get Weiss, Blake and Yang up! It's here, it's here, it's here! Okay, maybe I'm overreacting a little, but come on, we get to do even more fun Huntress stuff! Man, team RWBY's going to show everyone what real Huntresses are made of! I'm getting down from my rather precariously perched bed and crouching by Weiss's, and I'm going to wake her up first - wait, she's not there. Did she already leave? That snobbish Miss Schnee... I guess I'll go check on Blake then!
But she's not here either, and neither is Yang... what's happening? Are they playing a joke on me? If so, this isn't funny... I'm actually kinda scared... I'll go see if they're all already out. It
is possible. But when I open the door, there is no hallway. Just blackness. It's ominous, to say the least... Is this just a nightmare? If I pinch myself - ow! N-nope... I'm not dreaming. This is getting scary...
Before I know it the doorway and floor have disappeared, and I'm falling into the nothingness. I can feel a scream in my throat and mouth, but no sound comes out. Before long, I feel nothing as I stop falling, stop screaming.
What's happening to me?!

As its name implies, Crescent Rose's frame is colored rose red with black trims, with its large scythe blade forged into a crescent shape. Ruby's crest is engraved onto the circular swivel frame of the weapon.
The most notable property of Crescent Rose is its converting frame: it allows Crescent Rose to transform into different combat modes, from a full-scale scythe and sniper rifle form to a condensed rifle form. It can also fold up tightly and be holstered for more convenient transportation, stored underneath Ruby's cloak at her waist. Also, while it appears to be a bolt-action weapon, it does not need to be in its gun mode to fire.
Why this character is a candidate: Ruby is more my age, so it'll be slightly easier to connect with her thoughts and implement some of my own in. She's very, very upbeat, and that's a character type I believe would be very fun to play and interact with others with. Ruby would be a great character to bring a warm light to any situation.
Possible goals and interactions: Many people I have seen have the original thought of getting out of the place, then end up giving up, extending small notions about escaping on the way. Ruby, on the other hand, will have a long-standing goal of finding information and hauling ass out of the Omniverse, while enjoying herself a little on the way. Interactions are something that would be rather interesting. Being a young girl, many of the older characters I would expect to see her as a sort of little sister figure, even the more evil ones. On the other hand for the younger characters she'd be seen as a mischievous role model.
Character name: Ken Kaneki
Character source: Tokyo Ghoul
Character history: (Written from a CCG [Commision of Counter Ghoul] member's perspective) A strange, white haired boy with one black and red eye strolled up the road between our forces, leaving large but soft footprints in the white snow that lay upon the bitumen. He was holding something, what seemed like a body with a white cloth draped over it. No one made a move, not the Ghoul, not us. We just watched as this being casually made his way forward, like the ending scene to some old war movie where the hero comes back alive with his best friend dead in his arms. When the cloth was blown away, so were we - the lifeless body of Hideyoshi Nagachika. The poor boy was only spending part-time here in CCG, and now he's gone - but he doesn't look to be the Ghoul's victim. All it is is a slash to the gut, and if anything the boy would already have been eaten by now. That's right - a Ghoul was friends with a CCG member.
The Ghoul placed his dear friend upon the white earth, and looked up to face Investigator Arima, our best member. A few moments passed between the two, as they almost seemed to be trading words, greetings and farewells telepathically. Without warning, the two clashed with each other, fighting it out, Kagune to Quinque.
No more than two minutes in, something strange happened - as Investigator Arima's blade slashed into the Ghoul's ribcage, the creature almost seemed to disappear into ashes, leaving his black clothing behind with one last remnant of the boy's name - a mask with an eyepatch over the right eye.

Kaneki grows a group of four, scarlet, fox tail-like tentacles from his mid back, sprouting out to a normal length of two meters long, and able to extend to a maximum of ten meters. Kaneki uses these tentacles to attack his opponents, using them in two different forms: a slippery, liquid-based form which he uses for attacking and slashing his opponent and moving around like a spider, and a more solid form in which he defends against attacks. He can have the separate tentacles in different forms for a balance of attack and defense.
Why this character is a candidate: Okay, first off, why the f*** has no one picked this guy up yet? Now, Kaneki is an absolute beast. He's agile, doesn't fear physical pain and overall is a really cool character. He's fairly quiet, so not much dialogue would be needed, but seeing as he's a bookworm, writing in first person with loads of detail would fit so well. Unlike Lubba and Ruby, this guy's not good, but he's also not evil. He's fighting for what HE believes is right, and not what others tell him is right, even if it means getting his hands dirty. His dark side would be pretty cool to display IC, and the psychological side of the anime/manga would definitely pop up many times throughout his adventures in the Omniverse.
Possible goals and interactions: Kaneki's main goal: not get too friendly with people so he can survive the chaos and pull himself together. He's traumatised enough by his past, being sent here would 'Unravel' his world (TG fans will get that reference). His interactions are going to be the opposite of what he wants. I want him to be kinda cold to making friendships, but have a bunch of people try and pull out his soft side, his brighter side, and make it easier for him to pull himself together. Some people will be afraid of him, yes, but I want some people to be able to wade past his cold façade.
