Character Name: Moira Branwen
Character Source: Original
Character History: Born into a wealthy family, Moira had just about everything. Well, except for expectations, goals, and the adoration of her parents, but she was your average girl nonetheless. While her family oversaw affairs in stock and trade, dabbling in business with other empires and the like, Moira wouldn't do much outside of playing with her friends and laying around in her tower for most of her childhood years, as far as everyone else knew. Beneath the surface, you could find her in the family's library, picking out the more dubious tomes from her family's collection and practicing dark arts in her bedroom, mimicking the cultists she would often watch while playing outside, before they chased her off anyway. This went on for years on end, honing her skills in witchcraft and the like.
One day, peering through the telescope on her balcony revealed an invasion in the next town over, pirates invading this quaint little port village seemingly without any casualties. Needless to say, she was inspired. What better way to put an end to her seemingly eternal cabin fever than to set out to sea and plunder whoever she likes! With that, she packed her tomes, grimoires, and her teddy bear U'rszak, swiped some money right from her family's reserves, and bought herself a mighty ship! She never returned on that note, leaving her neglectful family.
The years pass and her gains grow with her bounty, even buying enough teddy bears to form her own crew, using the rest as little magic test subjects. Moira likes teddy bears. Her first mate, U'rszak, was a gift from her parents, one of the only gifts they had every given her and the only thing she has to remember them by. The bear itself was tattered and discolored, grotesque tentacle-like appendages bursting from the belly seam and idly writhing. Her pack of teddy bears are animated with magic, so as not to get too lonely out at sea.
Fascination with stuffed bears aside, one night she had just a tad too much to drink and blacked out, hitting the floor with a mighty thud before waking up in the presence of Omni.
Physical Appearance: Moira is known for her auburn hair, red peaked cap, and facial tattoos-- a large crimson "X" and little "stitches" covering her mouth to match her first mate.
Here's a little WIP thing I did, it's not quite done but it gives an idea of her tattoos! http://i.imgur.com/6BIWCTA.png Just pretend her cap is red and her crest is gold~
Celestial Warhammer and Dark Matter Shield - 1200 OM (requires Physical Strength and Area Shield Proficiency)
In the realm of divine powers, Moira is no stranger to the astral realm. Earning these glistening starmetal arms from one of her stranger voyages out on the sea, Moira realized after coming in contact with these items, she could summon them at will, not unlike a Prime would in the Omniverse.
As for the weapons themselves, the Celestial warhammer comes in at a decently large 3 foot length, her shield one and a half foot in diameter; this combined with it's measly 5 pound weight allows Moira to seamlessly switch from two-handing the hammer and keep her shield up less than a second later. These stellar, dark purple weapons adorned in some of the finest and hardest wooden materials in her own universe are almost nigh-indestructible in nature, though Primes may have an easier time finding their way around that.
To counteract this, Moria's Dark Matter shield is able to project a protective field of dark energy that bubbles around the witch at a 1 meter diameter, as if a body of celestial debris surrounded her as it fully summoned, taking about 2 seconds to project and keep up. This energy keeps her decently safe from ranged attacks, but doesn't prevent melee attacks from hitting her as her normal shield would. Moria can keep this energy shield up for about 5 seconds before it flickers away. As due result of the energy being exerted, Moria can get quite exhausted if the full 5 second duration passes without lowering her shield.
Primes and secondaries with enough patience can realize a well placed kick or constant melee pressure within the bubble will keep Moira at bay, not to mention if they can sneak an attack in before the energy field formed fully, or worse yet, hit her from behind as she kept her shield up, but... only if they dare come close to the warhammer in her hand.
Though she is unable to attack keeping her energy shield up, Moria is able to convert the kinetic energy her shield absorbs and channel it as potential energy for her warhammer in order to later attack with and use against her opponents later on. After all, revenge is sweet, and Moira had a thing for treats, despite how sensitive her teeth seem to be nowadays!
