Erza ended up coming to in a bit of a daze. She hadn't been knocked out like this since... Well, since she was a kid. She could normally defend herself from attackers of any sort, and falling wasn't usually a problem... That is, if one's ability to fly wasn't nullified by having completely exhausted a week's worth of magic energy the day before. She'd been looking forward to the quiet bliss of a good night's sleep at the end of an adventure, but instead, as soon as her eyes had closed, she'd been pulled against her will into a very Celestially-reminiscent void, hastily informed of the rules of her new plane of existence, and unceremoniously dropped onto a large, white floor from an unfortunate height.

Realizing this, she jumped to her feet, brushing herself off as quickly as she could while still appearing somewhat dignified. She had no idea how long she'd been lying there, unconscious, and - to her dismay - in her bedclothes. She closed her eyes, gritting her teeth, her eyebrows twitching more in annoyance than pain, and held a hand to her forehead as the discomfort worsened, a headache growing in strength as it centralized towards the front of her forehead, and then slowly dissipated to nothing. She looked down to her arms and legs - Not perfect, but less beaten up than when she'd fallen asleep last night, so that was a plus.

Again, she closed her eyes, this time concentrating on the innate magic of her very being. Her arms lifted, and a bright but somehow soft glow of white light enveloped her. Fading, it revealed the sturdy and slightly-battleworn Heart Kreuz armor she so adored, and which she found more comfortable than standard clothing. Strapping the plain sword to her back, she rested her fists on her hips as she took in the surroundings. Her Requip had apparently gleaned a few stares from some nearby folks, but her intimidating glare upon noticing them apparently was enough to turn their gaze the other way as they coughed an made excuses under their breath.

Above her stood a great tree, far taller than even the fantastic mushroom-hybrids of Edolas, though on closer inspection it seemed to be made of steel rather than wood. Starting at about ten feet there was an ever-expanding network of steel branches, a truly tangled mess of metal expanding beyond her sight to the sky. That must be what I fell from when I was sent here. The great tree seemed to be giving off a bit of shade, as Erza was presently doused in a mild pool of shadow, but this contrasted with the fact that this place didn't seem to have a sun. In fact, she didn't seem to have a shadow herself. She turned and walked out of the shade and into the omnipresent illumination that this place seemed to harbor.

The ground was white. The sky was white. The only things that weren't just intangible blankness were the denizens of this place. Humans, humanoids, even creatures that just looked like their names would be unintelligible to human ears walked, shambled and crawled about on the monotonal white plane. This certainly wasn't Edolas. Was this just... The future? The future OF the future she had come from, that is? ... No, couldn't be. The way it had been rather vaguely explained to her by the floating white body was as a completely different universe, probably unreachable from Fiore and Edolas alike. She seemed to be able to use her magic, though she could sense a disconnect between her and the majority of her armors and weapons. This was a strange feeling, one that she decided she'd have to rectify as soon as this foreign place would allow.

Erza grinned to herself. This would be a challenge, indeed, but surely it would at least be an interesting one. She'd overcome worse. Giving a quick nod to herself, and with her confidence regained, she began to make her way out into the crowd. Perhaps she could overhear something to help get her bearings - Or, barring that, just sort of eventually arrive somewhere important. Certainly there would be some way to make a name for herself in this odd place.
