Blog of a Spaceman
#1
Hello my followers, Spaceman here.

You may wonder what happened to me. I know it seemed ominous for me to go silent on all of you like that, and I apologize if I frightened anyone. I want to let you all know that I am still among the realm of the living, and while what I have to say isn’t pleasant, I will still remain there for a long time. Please don’t worry about me; while I may have my issues, I won’t do anything stupid.

You see, before I came to the Omniverse, I was a great explorer. I would search through the vastness of space on my ship the Excalibur. I’ve escaped the gravity of numerous black holes at once (though not as difficult as some may think,) I’ve stood on alien worlds, greeted alien cultures, single handedly defended the Earth from defenders; I was celebrated as a hero but for some reason I never cared how people thought of me. In retrospect, I guess I just thrilled at the idea of the vastness of it all. Just the thought that space was endless, there were always worlds to explore and things to see, that excited me. Never thought it made me insignificant, just thought of it as just more of a challenge to prove myself.

So when I was summoned to the Omniverse as a secondary, I was thrilled.
“Eight different worlds to explore? This is so incredibly epic!” Is what I said when I learned about this place.
Heck, I even started this blog as a way of sharing my adventures with everyone. I was jumping at the chance to bring all my new stories to you; you could even still read some of them, I won’t take them down.
However, that was before I realized the truth.

I thought each verse was endless. I thought I could just fly up in each world and explore a separate space exclusive to it. But I quickly realized that each verse has boundaries, and everything beyond it was just more scene dressing than an actual place. I was devastated. I was trapped in a tiny little bubble, except with no chance of bursting through.
I tried to continue my adventures after that, I really did. I traveled to each verse, visiting its most well known landmarks but the further I went along, the more I felt I was closer to the ending. This universe was too small for me, and I knew it. I never recovered from that realization.

So what’s next for me now? Well, I’ve done something I never thought I’d do. I’ve settled down. I found a girl in Costa Del Sol; single mom with a little girl to look after. Don’t worry, I do love them a lot, I just never expected that this would be the end game.

With that, I end this blog. It has been a good run and I want to thank everyone who has followed me on this journey. I’m sorry it all ended in an anti-climax.

Hello followers, spaceman here.

I thought you all deserved an update. I left off on such a depressing note last time and I realized that wasn’t the place I wanted to leave off on.

Like I said last time, I’ve settled down and found a family. This still holds true. I’ve gotten into the world of fatherhood. I never knew what I was missing. This little girl of mine, she’s just so smart and talented. I never thought a little girl could keep up with someone like me. She’s been running track and she’s been making so much progress. I’ve never been so proud.

The woman I married understands me so well. We get into arguments sometimes, which I think is normal for some couples, but I’ve been good to her and she’s been good to me. To think the perfect team up would not be from the stars above but with a normal every day person down on the ground. She works in retail and like a freak, she loves every minute of it. I honestly don’t get how it doesn’t drive her out of her mind, but I’ve learned that there’s a lot I don’t know about simple people. I kind of envy people like that now-a-days.

As for me, I’ve got a job in construction. It’s grueling and boring, but it’s an honest stable job and it supports my family, so it’s something. Sometimes, my mind wanders to days past. I miss the thrill of adventure, but those days are behind me. For now it’s just one day after another, slaving for the weekend. That’s the life for me now. No sense arguing against it.

Please don’t worry about me. I’m quite alright.

I hit the road again! Sorry if people liked the direction of my last post, I couldn’t ignore the call of adventure!

But anyways, it was amazing what happened to me on my travels the other day! So I went to to this small little village in the Camelot verse. The people there kept judging me for my futuristic clothing, but I didn’t let it bother me. I enter a local diner where I ordered a sandwich, but the person serving would just refuse to take my order. Can you believe this level of prejudice? All because of the clothing I wear! I mean, the deals up with that?

Anyways, things took a turn for the worse when some bandits arrived into town. They were a bad bunch, the meanest bandits I’ve ever seen! They didn’t even offer the peaceful route, they just straight up said they’d kill everyone and take their stuff!

Seeing the danger the townsfolk were in. I walked up to them and - oh man, you won’t believe this. I said to them:

“Evil doers! I won’t stand as you wish to harm these good people! In the name of justice and as the protector of the galaxy, I declare I will defeat you and all your allies. It is destined by the stars!”

I said it all heroically and stuff, it was totally awesome! I could tell the townsfolk were blown away by it!

The bandits all laughed at me, I could tell they didn’t take me seriously at all. Probably all because of my clothing. They underestimated me, that was a big mistake!

I took the opportunity to shoot the leader with my pistol, killing him in one shot! Then I pulled out my sword and dueled his henchmen single handedly to the death. I won of course! It was so incredible, the townsfolk were all just speechless!

I left dawn the next day. I was like a hero to those people. They’ll probably name the town after me! People will be singing my name for decades to come!

So I was walking down Tier one of coruscant when I met this really foxy lady. I swear, she was a ten. I approached her, gave her one of my pick up lines.

“Ooh, you so fine, they name diamonds after you.”

And she was all over me in an instant. She knows when perfection was approached her. She was all like:

“Take me now Spaceman!”

And I was all like.

“Sorry, I like to toy with my prey for a little while.”

She passes out in my arms as I make out with her while she’s unconscious. (Don’t worry, she totally consented.)

Then suddenly the cops show up. They tell me that she is a major criminal, pure evil. She says to me:

“Won’t you bail me out, just for old time’s sake?”

And I’m all like:

“Sorry sugar, but I’m cold turkey on evil.”

She was dragged off to jail, and while my heart is broken, I know that it was better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all.

It was kind of crazy! I found this verse that was composed entirely of blood and guts! Like the floor was made of entrails, and the lakes were all made of blood. It was quite a horrifying sight to see! I’m not even sure how I even walked on such a surface!

Anywho, you won’t believe what I found there. It was a spa! Very clean place even! I got in one of the hot tubs and I got a good soak in. It was what I needed after that horrible experience. It was so relaxing that I fell asleep! Haha.

But all good things came to an end. When I woke up, I had to go back into the blood and guts world. Such the struggles of an adventurer.

Tragedy struck in my latest adventure. I wound up in the middle of nowhere in the Frozen Fields. I was outright lost. I camped out near what I think was a lumber mill. Not sure, my memory is hazy. Anyways wood was plenty out there so I got a fire going and kept it going. It kept me warm, but I wound up being stuck there for days on end.

Well, eventually this hiker joined me and I really enjoyed the company. However after a while, it was pretty clear that neither of us were going to make it. In a noble act of self-sacrifice, he gave up his last bit of food so I may live.

I eventually got out of there, not sure how. But I’ll always be thankful to that hiker who gave everything for me.

Thank you, you are a true bother.

[float=right]Always in my memories,

Hello my friends. It’s been a long time coming. We’ve been on many adventures together and I’m glad you’ve been around for it all. However, I cannot be held down by gravity anymore. My heart belongs to space and it always will. I need to be up there, it is calling my name.

With my expertise, I’m building a rocket. I have decades experience in the subject so it’ll be easy once I find the parts. As soon as I finish it, I’ll be up in the stars again where I belong. However, I fear there will not be any internet service up there, so this will be the end of my blog. I’ll be selling my dataverse device.

Don’t feel too sad though, life is still an adventure; you don’t need me to light that fire. Be well my friends.

I hope this works.

Hello, my name is Lily Frank, I’m the spouse of Richard Frank, the man you know better as “Spaceman.” I was married to him for several months before he left me and my daughter to go on some silly adventure. He just up and left while he was in the middle of construction and I’ve been worried sick.

It’s not just that he left me though. A month before he went on his quest, he discovered a drug called “Dwarven Dust.” He started taking small doses to relieve the stress. I didn’t want him to, but he just went and did it. We were working towards getting it taken care of but… I fear he might be taking the stuff out there.

I’ve heard all the horror stories about the stuff. The things people have done under it are horrifying. I’m terrified that something horrible may happen to him because of it. I fear of the things he may do. I fear the things he has already done.

Please, if you see this man, send me an e-mail at: lilyanne822@omail.com

I want to know he won’t hurt himself anymore. I want him safe. Please, find him!
