It's me, Vincent Valentine, ex-staff member of Another Destiny (Friend & Foe briefly too). I was also Kirby and a few other characters, but namely Vincent. Although it seems someone else has joined as my beloved character already. :poop:

I can't believe I stumbled upon this site. I can't believe you guys have continued on with the community. I'm ecstatic and can't wait to join. I hope to speak with you guys soon, especially Greg and Alex.

I'm so happy that people just seem to find this website. How did you stumble across it? Google searching for something? I'm just curious to see what leads people to find this.

Funny enough I was google-searching Chubbs since I noticed their site is no longer running. Aaaand I clicked a link that led me to these forums! I'm irrevocably geared up to have found you all again. I assumed everyone sort of went their seperate says and the community fire was extinguished. Glad to be proven wrong.

I've been good though, I'm working at a hospital now on midnights so life is slightly hectic at times, but at least now I'll have some old fashioned writing therapy. When exactly did this site get up and running? Also what inspired you to try again? Regardless of reasoning, I'm stoked that you guys came together.

Welcome back, dude. I think a lot of the community HAS vanished, unfortunately. If anything, I'm hoping to make a new community with the ashes of the old. Something better, that hopefully lasts. We've already got a lot of awesome new people as part of it. :mrgreen:

Thanks, and yeah that'll happen with time. I'm confidant a new, tightly-bound community can be forged. Looking at the current Roster it appears we just need more players. The foundation and the systems you've setup are unbelievable. Worlds better than the old style systems in my opinion. I love the vast options for continuity as well.

Thanks dude! I literally worked on this stuff for years on and off, scribbling in notebooks at my desk and such. Working on maps right now! The really cool stuff is also way the hardest to do, though. I know exactly how, in THEORY, I can implement an automated weekly OM system, but phpbb ... is difficult for a noob.

Well considering I just had to google what phpbb means, I tip my hat off to you. XD An automated system would be quite crafty.

I'd say your hard work and note-taking has proved fruitful. I'll try to spread the word as best I can too. Now for my current dilemma, deciding which character to take. -.-

Chubbs does get mentioned, in various forms of its name, several times in all our staff bios.

If you think about it in hindsight, it was pretty genius on our parts!

I found the place when I was talking to Greg and he was all like: "Hey! I'm working on a new roleplaying website." and I said, "Cool. Anything I can help with?" I then became a sort of quality control for Greg's ideas. When he said he was finally ready to launch, I immediately offered to help him as a staff member. He agreed. I've been here since day one.
