For those of you that don't know, I teach high school (year 4!). Just like last fall, I'll be coaching football, which will be the main reason why I will be on the lite side of Alex'ing until the end of October. Football season means me working 12-hour days during the week and 5-7 hours on Saturdays. Kind of stuff burns me out pretty harshly. Last year I was pretty much dead from September until Christmas, but I'm hoping that it won't be that dramatic this time around since I have previous experience.

I won't be gone entirely, mind you. I'll still be checking in to see what's going on, and I still intend to write my characters. I'll also continue to be in touch with the lovely staff family, so I'll be within a digital arm's reach.

Anyway, wish me luck. Football team has a new head coach with a new philosophy, so maybe we can win more than 4 games this season.

As might already be apparent, I have been/will be fading in and out of usefulness for a bit while I shuffle life stuff around. I'll delete this post when stability it restored, but until then tolerance is muuuch appreciated.

Not going away per say, but it seems that the most recent update to the firewall at my workplace has caused it to block the Omniverse. In other words I'll be absent in the mornings to afternoons of the week unless by some chance the block gets removed. I'll still try to be around in the evenings and weekends, of course - need to get my dosis of Omniverse!

I'm going through some extremely emotional and troubling times in my personal life. My willingness to write is very inhibited, so Drake can be skipped in his current thread.

Leaving for vacation on Thursday, August 9th. The next round of DA will go live before then.

I'll be gone for roughly two weeks to PA and Mexico, which should let me get back around the time those fights will likely resolve (given the lack of many strikes remaining) -- around the 22nd or 23rd.
