Monster Meets King
#1
Across the sandy desert, there was a odd sight to behold. There was a person wearing a crimson cloak walking casually throughout the desert. The person didn't appear wary of their surroundings nor did it appear like they had a weapon on them. The cloak looked to be made out of silky material. Their pace was slow, walking without a care inside a dangerous terrain. "So hot!" Shouted the cloaked person. In truth Eudocia never liked the heat, she didn't like the feeling of sweat sticking to her body. Eudocia's stomach growled which demanded that she got food soon. Eudocia had been walking for what seemed like hours to her. She hadn't seen a single sign of civilization, that means that she couldn't get any food! A sudden thought had hit Eudocia as she walked. "Uh! I don't have this world's currency!" She shouted out into the air, her frustration audible from her voice. She couldn't even eat anybody since she hasn't found any signs of civilization yet. The thought hadn't crossed Eudocia's mind to just use her Omnilium to make food.

"Heat, I hate heat, please let the moon shine, I want some water." These thoughts filled Eudocia mind, her body was on autopilot . Eudocia still didn't think of using her Omnilium for food or water. Eudocia saw a spark of hope in front of her eyes, her eyes widening upon the sight in front of her. "Civilization!" She shouted out into the air, joy obvious in her voice. Increasing her pace she started to jog towards the small town, her right hand holding her hood down. She wouldn't want to cause a commotion before getting some water. After she got water she could then cause all the trouble she wants, because the people who dared to fight her would become her food.

Eudocia started thinking back to what she should do in this new world. The sure thing that she was going to do was to acquire more knowledge. She wanted to know exactly how could Omni grab her from her world and place her inside this one. If she could master that technique then couldn't she world jump? The mere thought of world jumping sent a shiver of joy up Eudocia's spine. She could acquire knowledge from lots of worlds! Traveling across different worlds acquiring different types of magic theories she could find. Eudocia knew it would be rather difficult, one world may be like her own or another world could be extremely dangerous. "What should I do in the meantime?" She thought to herself before letting out a sigh. She had no idea what she should do.

After several minutes Eudocia reached the town. The buildings were made of stone and wood, the people were dressed in dirty clothes indicating the town's wealth. As Eudocia crossed the people's paths they stared at her crimson cloak. Eudocia continued to walk down the sandy makeshift road looking for a place where she could get something to drink. Eudocia had no luck finding such a place and rested in an alleyway. She just wanted to find a place to rest and get out of the sun, luckily the alleyway provided such.

After a couple minutes of resting she was off again. She stood up reaching behind herself to pat the sand off her crimson cloak. "Time to move out." She said to herself and continued on her way. After a few minutes of continuing her walk she still bared no results. A sigh escaped her lips as she hung her head down in defeat. 'I can't believe this place doesn't have signs pointing out where you could get some water from! I'm about at the limit that I might drink somebodies' blood and see if that works out for me. Maybe I should just try that, after all it would be a free meal as well.' Eudocia thought as she continued to walk past the people, the people moved out of her way as she continued down the sandy road. Eudocia was clearly not paying attention to her surroundings, just lost in her own thoughts.

Gilgamesh exited the Saloon in a huff leaving the stubborn rats to their own devices. The sun was shining in his eyes and he put his hand to cover his eyes. The Golden Suit began to cook Gilgamesh on the inside and it began to dissipate into the golden dust that was so familiar to him. His casual clothes naturally took place and let his skin breathe and embrace the sun.

His conquest would begin tomorrow, he was too tired and uninterested to begin it today. Today would be preparing and enjoying his luxuries. He would find somewhere that he could indulge himself in order to vent the pent up frustration that the Saloon had taxed him. He rubbed his neck and he went in his search for a place suitable. The lice-infested shithole that he had stayed at last night put a kink in his neck that he needed taken out. However, he didn't expect a masseuse to be here in this place, particularly not one that he would allow to touch his skin.

He was walking down the path as he kicked up the dust that flooded the road and he was searching frantically for a place that didn't look absolutely horrid. Gil found an empty alley and he tried to summon a place of his caliber. The rainbow material began to flow out from his body into his hand and he closed his eyes in concentration. His head began to pulsate and his heart began to beat rapidly almost as if it was going to burst from his chest. The heart pounding flooded his ears and his eardrums began to have the deafening ringing. His eyes flickered open and the orb that so easily healed his wound refused to form the palace he dreamed of.

At least make a damn building that would suit me.

He glared at the rainbow ball as it flowed back into him and headed off onto his quest for a suitable dwelling place. He was about to turn off but a forced knocked him off his feet and he landed on the ground. He rubbed his head and looked at his opponent who also lay on the ground before him. A red cloaked man was on the ground, quite similar to the Sand Mage he had slaughtered but without all the ornate gold decorating the robes. His brows furrowed and he gritted his teeth.

This mongrel shall pay for daring to bring me beneath him.

The thing shook its head in confusion of what just happened and it got up at the same time Gilgamesh did. Noticing the angry King it seemed to feel slightly embarrassed. It spoke. But a feminine voice was elicited from the cloaked hood.

"I am so sorry. I beg for your forgiveness."The cloaked man woman bowed her head and her voice seemed genuine, which was a fresh taste that the King had in a while. It simmered down his rage and his crimson eyes began to relax.

"I acknowledge that you have realized your fault but I find it unacceptable for you not to show me your face. Reveal yourself at once!" The King demanded with his arms across his chest impatiently waiting for his demands to be fulfilled.

Her voice spoke with determination and had a hint of aggravation to it. "I will not do that. Good day sir." She tried to stride off and avoid further contact.

His arm extending and grabbed her cloak. Her arms were immediately on his arm trying to pry herself off of the King.

"You shall not deny a King his request. You shall face me!"

A feral growl and blood-red eyes seemed to emanate out of the cloak. With his other hand reaching to take off the garment her panic to escape increased and her cries became more desperate.

"No no please…anything please. Stop please." her futile cries were placed on deaf ears as Gilgamesh proceeded to reveal the woman's face. Her hands dropped from his hand to cover her face in embarrassment. Horns protruded from her silky, black hair and she had peculiar animal ears. Her breathing began to become labored, not sure if she was crying or preparing to attack.

"There. Now look at me and confess your sins to your King." The King demanded, unwavering of her appearance.

The woman lowered her hands, completely surprised by the nonchalance of the stranger who proclaimed to be her King. She was trembling and her eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"Wha-what? Her voice sounded surprised and confused.

"Apologize to me."

Her cheeks blushed and she pushed back her hair.

"I'm sorry…" Her voice was nervous and it almost took Gilgamesh by surprise.

"Very well, you may move along." He was about to wave her off until she began to speak again.

"What did you mean by King?" Her voice was curious and she let her guard down a little, however she still seemed a bit jittered.

The King turned and faced the woman, she was not around these parts and didn't know any better. The woman seemed to placate him, she was the first person in this realm to at least try to acknowledge is rule…without being threatened.

"My name is Gilgamesh. I am the Original, True King! I rule over everything and even this land. However, these rodents refuse to acknowledge my authority and I shall take this land back by force. All who serve my are under my protection and are all equal. You shall never experience persecution beneath my rules, and those who challenge me and my citizens shall be punished."

He felt that he was speaking to another person with deaf ears and that no one would join him, no matter how much he proved his rightful authority. He would have to show them with his own hands, something he would have to put effort to do. Slowly but surely, his old kingdom would rise.

As Eudocia had continued walking down the sandy road until she had hit something solid knocking her back onto the ground. Eudocia looked at the object that she hit only to find a person on the ground as well. He seemed to tall however he wasn't big or lanky, his body gave off the impression of being toned. The person had golden hair styled to mimic that of a blazing flame, with crimson eyes that was as red as human blood. People would describe his face as handsome, he gave off a aura full of elegant, however he gave off a different vibe as well. From what Eudocia could tell he gave off a vibe like that of a leader, a natural born leader so to say. Eudocia had noticed that she was still siting down and got up at the same time he did. She looked back at the man and noticed that his brow was slightly furrowed. Eudocia took this as a sign that he was made, perhaps because she had ran into him? Eudocia started to feel a bit embarrassed since this would be the first time ever having a normal conversation with somebody who didn't want to kill her on the spot. Before words could even flow out of the man's mouth, Eudocia was already bowing her head. "I'm so sorry. I beg you for your forgiveness." She said in a genuine voice.

Eudocia's journeys had took her all across the continent back in her home world, however not once in her journey had she meet anybody who seemed so perfect. He seemed to radiate perfection, it would not be an exaggeration to say that his body was crafted by the gods. Eudocia looked at the man's face as it visibly began to relax, this made let out a quiet sigh of relief. Never once in her life had she ever had a conversation with a person who didn't want to kill her. "What should I tell him now? Maybe I should introduce myself?" She thought to herself, however she heard the man's voice which immediately brought her out of her thoughts.

"I acknowledge that you have realized your fault but I find it unacceptable for you not to show me your face. Reveal yourself at once!" The man demanded of the girl that she removed her hood! He crossed his arms over his chest, waiting for Eudocia to take the hood off. Eudocia started to panic, she was going to lose the conversation that she had been waiting years for! "I will not do that. Good day sir." She said with a voice full of determination, and a hint of aggravation. She wanted to say sorry for coming off ruder than she had intended however she turned to march away from the man. She felt a tug on her crimson cloak only to turn around and see the man grabbing it. Eudocia's heart beat skyrocketed as she realized what the man was going to do. She moved her arms to grab the man's hand, trying to break the cloak out of his hold. "Dammit! Let go of my cloak!" She shouted out inside her head. She wanted to end the conversation in a good manner so that she might could talk to the man again! However if he saw the horns and animal ears it would end up with them fighting.

"You shall not deny a King of his request!"

'Why does he keep referring himself as a king!?" She asked herself as she struggled against the man's grip. "If he doesn't want to stop then the whole town would turn against me and I would be forced to run away again." She thought to herself as she started to let out a feral growl, her crimson eyes started to glow underneath her hood. Her eyes widened as he reached to grab her hood with his other hand. Her panic escalated yet again, she was struggling even more fiercely.

"No no please…anything please. Stop please." She started to plea towards the man, she hadn't even had her fill of food or drink yet! She was obviously weaker than when she was back on her home planet so she wasn't so sure if she could massacre a whole town of people as she was now. The man didn't care about her cries of plea, she unmasked the woman letting the hood fall back onto her back. Eudocia winced as sunlight shined in her eyes, she used her right hand to block the sunlight from clouding her eyes. She felt a bit embarrassed, her eyes shifting to view everything she could. She had to make sure that her breathing was steady, she was about to make a hit and run on the man seeing if she could at least damage him.

"There. Now look at me and confess your sins to your King." The man looked unfazed by Eudocia's nonhuman features. Eudocia was utterly shocked, for once somebody didn't hold any hostility towards her from just looking at her appearance. Her body was trembling from anxiety as she continued to observe her surroundings, her eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "Wh-what?" She asked, Eudocia was completely confused. For one, why wasn't the man attacking her? Two, why was the man referring himself as her king?

"Apologize to me." The man demanded of Eudocia again. A light shade of red dyed Eudocia's cheeks, she moved a strand of silky black hair out of her face pushing her hair behind her ear. "I'm sorry...." she said her voice trailing off into nothing.

"Very well, you may move along." The man said already beginning to wave Eudocia off, however she had a few questions for the man. Eudocia wasn't going to let somebody who wasn't surprised by her appearance just walk off like that. She had been considered a monster by everybody else, however the man had regarded her as a human being. "What should I do to make him stay? Think, think, think, think!" She thought to herself, she wanted to make the man stay and have a good conversation with him.

"What do you mean by king?" She asked the man, as soon as he heard the words that came out of Eudocia's mouth he turned around.

Eudocia had a spark of hope in her eyes, perhaps Gilgamesh's kingdom was her salvation? From what Gilgamesh had told her she could assume that Gilgamesh came from another world as well and Omni had pulled him here. Gilgamesh had talked about people of his kingdom all being equal, perhaps she could finally find a place where nobody would want to kill her just for her appearance? "I-I need to see if what he is saying is true." Eudocia thought to herself and looked up at Gilgamesh.

"King Gilgamesh. Could you let this notorious, corrupted, vile monster into your kingdom?" She asked bowing her head down to Gilgamesh. Some may call her decision a rash one, however she desired to be in such a place that he had said. Eudocia knowing that there was actually beings from other worlds knew that the person in front of her wasn't lying about being a king. Eudocia didn't have anywhere else to go and she desired to be in such a place that Gilgamesh had said

"King Gilgamesh. Could you let this notorious, corrupted, vile monster into your kingdom?" She asked bowing her head down to Gilgamesh.

The King raised an eyebrow when she initially addressed him. He was shocked by the immediate mention of her acknowledging him as a king. He was taken a back by the sudden change of development but his face showed no falter, until she was finished. Her last words turned Gilgamesh's foul frown into a dark grin and his eyes lit up with ambition. His lips curled against his teeth, in an aesthetically pleasing way. His face was in no means in a maniacal shape, but it reflected the success of his long personal ambition.

He reached out and took the "monster" by her chin and lifted her head to where she could look Gilgamesh in his eyes. It pained him to bring her up a couple of levels but he wouldn't let his pride sacrifice a potentially powerful ally. Anything non-human was worth something, even moreso than humans. They had power to offer Gilgamesh while humans were just labor. He needed this thing, which he had no idea to call yet.

"You are no monster." His voice struck her heart and the appearance of honesty was in his eyes. He knew that he had charisma and he could be well liked, or well when he wanted to be. He had power over his subjects in life and had experienced many battles that were won through moral. Gilgamesh was no rookie.

"You shall by my countries finest and my people shall praise you endlessly." He was lathering on the compliments trying to hit a chord that would at least let her stay. He hoped he had gotten her hook, line, and sinker. Her eyes lit up with hope and Gilgamesh continued on with his extended speech.

"My kingdom shall be feared across the Omniverse and we will eliminate those who oppose me."

His face seemed to darken and his smile grew wider. He extended his hand to the creature and spoke with a sense of wickedness in his voice. "But for now you and I…shall conquest."

Eudocia patiently waited for The King's answer. Her anxiety growing by each passing moment he didn't offer her a answer. Eudocia decided to raise her head to look at Gilgamesh's expression. Gilgamesh's expression was dark, his eyes were lit by a certain emotion that Eudocia couldn't quite put her finger on. He had a dark grin on his face, she couldn't figure out why Gilgamesh had that expression on his face or what it meant. She could only rarely guess how people felt, and only then it would be because of facial expressions. She was terribly dense when it came to human emotions other than anger and hatred.

Eudocia felt a hand on her chin, her neck craning as he forced her eyes to lock with his own. Eudocia had a hard time guessing what was going through Gilgamesh's mind, she was blatantly confused by what he was doing. "Isn't this what the romantic couple did in that one book?" She thought to herself recalling one of the many books she had read back in her world.

"You are no monster." Gilgamesh said in a soothing tone, his words resonated with her heart. From what Eudocia could tell he had seemed genuine enough, not that Eudocia could tell the lie from the truth that well. Eudocia had received the answer that she had been waiting for! Gilgamesh hadn't outright rejected her in fact if he had rejected her than why would he be doing what he was doing right now then? Eudocia was overjoyed! She had finally met a person who had accepted her even though she was a monster. While Eudocia was basking in her joy Gilgamesh hadn't stopped thinking that he still hasn't convinced Eudocia.

"You shall by my countries finest and my people shall praise you endlessly." The King had continued to compliment Eudocia. This only made Eudocia even more willing and more eager to see the kingdom that Gilgamesh had regarded so highly. Eudocia could see it now! No longer the monster that everybody hatred, the monster that everybody loved. Eudocia's body trembled every so slightly in euphoria, her dream could come true! She continued to look at Gilgamesh as his facial expression started to darken. "But for now you and I…shall conquest."

Eudocia stared at Gilgamesh repeating his words inside her head. 'But for now you and I shall conquest, but for no you and I shall conquest'. Inside her head the words repeated themselves. Gilgamesh had removed his hand from her chin since he already managed to get Eudocia on his side. Eudocia seemed to have a sinister air around her, her expression darkening as well. Her lips formed into a smile, however her smile wasn't dark instead it was a smile of pure euphoria. "Ah, I can't believe I get to kill people again! The taste of their flesh, the sound of their screams, the looks of utter horror on their face! I can't wait, they will become the sacrifices for my salvation. No more of them being the hunter, this time I'm the hunter and I will make sure that none of them will be left." Eudocia accidentally announced out loud for all to hear.

The sinister air remained around Eudocia, Eudocia not saying another word. A loud grumble came from Eudocia's stomach breaking her out of her trance. "Ah, sorry did I say something out loud King Gilgamesh? If so just ignore that. Do you know of a place to get any food and drink? Of course if you don't want to waste any money I will fetch me a person to eat right quick. Oh! Do you see any children anywhere? They are always so delicious to eat, their flesh is always so tender." Eudocia added, quickly changing the topic before Gilgamesh could even question her about what she had just said.

The words conquer incited some bloodlust in the girl, her eyes grew passionate and her smile grew almost as wide as Gilgamesh's. Her eyes were filled with excitement.

"Ah, I can't believe I get to kill people again! The taste of their flesh, the sound of their screams, the looks of utter horror on their face! I can't wait, they will become the sacrifices for my salvation. No more of them being the hunter, this time I'm the hunter and I will make sure that none of them will be left." Her eyes grew wide and passionate and her smile grew just as wide. She had a maniacal aura about her that seemed unstable in a sorts.

"Ah, sorry did I say something out loud King Gilgamesh? If so just ignore that. Do you know of a place to get any food and drink? Of course if you don't want to waste any money I will fetch me a person to eat right quick. Oh! Do you see any children anywhere? They are always so delicious to eat, their flesh is always so tender." He was beginning to realize why she was cloaked earlier…She was just as disgusting and vile as she had mentioned earlier but she intrigued him. Her bloodthirsty, politeness was so uncommon that he wanted to see what the abomination would plan to do. He just gave her a slight smile.

"Let us NOT eat my future citizens…but the insects that refuse to acknowledge my true authority…those you can eat." He grinned, she will be an asset to him even though she may be something he normally would avoid contact with. He sucked up his pride, temporarily, in order to gain influence…but once after…he would reign as he did in Babylonia.

"As for your food source, use Omnilium." The creature looked at him before the realization of her folly. He turned around and nodded her to follow along with him, and out of the corner of his eye he saw her playing with the rainbow orb that was the gold of this country. He saw her dig in behind him, not realizing that he was leaving her behind. He rolled his eyes and he heard a panicked gasp behind him, before he noticed her jogging up to catch up to him.

She was about to speak but he signaled for her to stop and he walked to the middle of the busy street and his Gold Armor materialized before the crowd. Gilgamesh looked up and his eyes were filled with fire. His Kingdom would start today and nothing…no one would stop him.

"People of Carrefore!" His booming voice echoed through the street and the crowd's attention was directed towards him. Their eyes in confusion and some seemed to recollect his action in the past couple of days.

"Today is the day I conquer this town! If you wish to be spared…Follow my rule and prosper." His word echoed and his eyes were filled with passion as he waited for their response.

Eudocia's bloodlust continued to grow as the sensations of the flesh she had ate over the past years filled her taste buds once again. "I can't wait, I can't wait, I can't wait!" She repeated inside her head, however Gilgamesh's words broke her out of her trance. "Let us NOT eat my future citizens…but the insects that refuse to acknowledge my true authority…those you can eat." He said, his grin resurfacing again. This made Eudocia slightly upset however she did understand why she shouldn't kill the future citizens of Gilgamesh's new kingdom. Eudocia let a quiet sigh escape past her lips. "As for your food source, use Omnilium." Gilgamesh added, Eudocia's eyes widened whenever she realized that she completely forgot about Omnilium and was still thinking the way she thought back on her old world.

Eudocia stretched out her right hand allowing the rainbow orb to reappear floating on her palm. "Uh, what did Omni say to work this thing again? I believe it was that you had to desire something? Yeah, I'm pretty sure those were his words." Eudocia thought recalling what Omni had told her when she arrived in this world. She gave a couple nods of satisfaction, she moved her gaze back to Gilgamesh only to find him gone! She let out a alarmed gasp and frantically looked around for him only to spot him walking. Eudocia broke out into a jog going after him, the Omnilium still floating in her palm. She managed to catch up to Gilgamesh and continued to fumble with the Omnilium. "Give me food and water, oh! How about a convenient water bottle that was a break through on my planet! Yes, I want a water bottle and.... How about a chicken? Yes! A water bottle and a chicken." She thought staring at the Omnilium. She felt a burning sensation in her chest, it wasn't painful it was just a burning sensation. Surely the Omnilium had went back inside her palm and instead of the glowing brightness that had happened last time she felt something in her hands. She found both her hands wrapped around a water bottle and a fried chicken leg. Eudocia let a sigh escape past her lips, Eudocia had just wanted some chicken but now that she thought about it a live chicken would have been better. Eudocia started to eat the chicken noticing that she was dragging behind Gilgamesh a little. She increased her pace to catch up to him.

After finishing her food and water Gilgamesh had led her into a rather crowded area. People were giving her nasty looks, staring at her horn, crimson eyes, and animal ears. Since the locals knew about the monsters in the desert and didn't know of any sentient race that looked like Eudocia they could guess what she was. The locals here obviously weren't so fond of primes. "They are giving me looks, they must hate me because of my appearance. Uh! I can't believe I was so caught up in getting food that I forgot my crimson cloak back there. I better tell Gilgamesh that I plan to kill these people soon if we don't get out of here." Eudocia thought to herself feeling wary of the locals around her. Her eyes continually shifted from person to person, as she turned to Gilgamesh to tell him what she had planned. Before she could even get a word out Gilgamesh lifted his hand up which indicated Eudocia to stop talking. Eudocia immediately shut her mouth preventing the words from coming out. Eudocia's eyes widened slightly when she saw Gilgamesh materialize his golden armor, she quickly remembered that Gilgamesh was a prime like herself.

"People of Carrefore" Gilgamesh said in a booming voice, his voice echoed throughout the streets for all the people to hear. Everyone stopped talking, all their eyes were fixated on Gilgamesh. "Today is the day I conquer this town! If you wish to be spared…Follow my rule and prosper." Gilgamesh continued now that he had the crowd's attention. Still everybody was silent, however you could tell from their facial expression what they thought. A few people had paled faces, obviously having a run in with The King before. The rest of the crowd had looks of extreme irritation, it appears like they all took Gilgamesh seriously which indicated his reputation in the town.

"Are you kidding me! Quit your bullshit!" A random man from the crowd called out, Eudocia looked around as the crowd started to get rowdy. "Get your fancy ass out of here mister 'King'!", "I'll kill you!", "Stop wasting our time with your crap!" Various comments were thrown at Gilgamesh. Eudocia was already getting ready to attack the first person in her sight, however she felt a chill run down her spine and she looked back to see Gilgamesh standing there with his arms crossed. Gilgamesh had a composed face, however Eudocia could feel the anger coming from him, perhaps it was her danger beast instinct?

"Quiet you insolent fools!" Gilgamesh commanded and once more the noise from the crowd died down. Gilgamesh's voice was filled with anger, any person in the right mind would quiet down upon hearing his words. "You insects, you dare refuse my generous offer to you? Me! King Gilgamesh, people would kill for the chance to even hope to get into my kingdom. Yet here you are refusing my answer, such insolent will not be tolerated in my presence!" Gilgamesh said and moved his gaze to Eudocia. "You, show these fools what happens to insects who get in our way." Gilgamesh said and everything was still silent, however Eudocia was the one to break the silence. "Really!?" She asked but she didn't wait for Gilgamesh to answer, she already started to make her move.

A small black puddle was underneath Eudocia, she seemed to get shorter and shorter. "I might just kill one or so, I definitely have to make a example out of him. That chicken was tasty, she made a mental note to conquer up more food later. Ah, which one should I kill though? Maybe a grown man to give them the impression that I'm strong. Yeah, that works." Eudocia thought to herself as the puddle underneath her was steadily getting larger and larger. In an instance she had vanished and the puddle had moved into the crowd.

The crowd was utterly horrified by what the woman was doing, she was actually turning into a liquid! They knew that primes had mysterious powers but they didn't expect anything as such. When the woman had completely turned into a black liquid puddle it had moved inside the crowd. "Ah! It's over here!" Shouted a woman frantically moving her feet to avoid the mysterious black liquid from getting on her. The crowd moved back pushing one another trying to get away from the puddle.

Eudocia had darted throughout the crowd, they had even started to run away from her. She stopped behind a man who seemed like he was trying to escape. In an instant she started to reform, her head, torso and arms coming from the puddle. Her body continued to reform, her lower body quickly coming out from the puddle as well. In a matter of seconds she was completely reformed standing behind the man who had his back turned trying to escape the commotion. She tapped the man's shoulder making him turn around. The man spun around quickly, thinking it was somebody other than Eudocia. When he laid his eyes upon the monster his eyes widened, his facial expression crumbled, his limbs were starting to quiver. Eudocia grabbed the man's shirt preventing him from running away, the man struggled in her group. However combined with his scrawny limbs and his fatigue he couldn't escape Eudocia's grip.

"Ah, don't worry this will be quick. Curse your ignorant past self for not joining King Gilgamesh's kingdom if you hate your fate." Eudocia said with a hint of delight in her voice, she wasn't so loud as to where everybody would hear her however she made sure that the man could hear her. Eudocia let go of his shirt however she moved her hands around his throat. She brought his head down, closer to her. With a quick and decisive blow she slammed her right horn into his throat. Because of the pointed tip of her horn and her strength it was easy to slam her horn into his throat. The man choked as he tried to speak words, all he managed to do was mouth the words. Eudocia removed her horn from his throat letting his blood spray all over her. A joyful smile appeared on her face as she felt the warm droplets of blood against her skin, how long has it been since she had felt another person's blood against her skin? One woman who had seen the scene had let out a deafening scream beckoning everyone else to look.

The crowd was absolutely horrified at what they saw, they saw the petite woman standing in front of 'Kevin'. Kevin was a nice guy, he ran a clothing shop called 'Kevin's Klothing'. He was a family man, he had a wife and two daughters. Pretty much everybody knew who Kevin was, he was well-liked among the community. They had just witnessed his death before their very eyes not able to do a single thing to save him. His killer however was looking at him with a smile on her face? Each and every person wondered how insane a person has to be to smile at a death as if they were a child at Christmas. No matter how much they wanted to they couldn't take their eyes off of this spectacle. No matter how much they wanted to help their friend they couldn't. They had no power, all they could do was watch their friend Kevin be murdered.

Eudocia raised a foot and kicked the dead man down to the ground, a small amount of blood still squirting out of his throat. "Ah, when was the last time I had even killed? If I remember correctly I hadn't found a town in a few weeks back in my home world. I can't believe I went without this sensation for that long!" She thought as she rubbed her own blood soaked arm against her cheek affectionately. The crowd finally coming out of their deep thoughts had two choices. One, was to avenge Kevin and kill the monster who killed him. Two, run away in fear.

The crowd had chose the latter, when one coward runs in fear it makes every coward run in fear. One little action can change the moral of a whole group. One woman broke out of the frozen crowd screaming running away from the monster known as Eudocia. Soon the whole crowd followed that woman, screams of pure terror had filled the air. Eudocia let out a quiet sigh, there was no way that she could take out that whole crowd with her limited abilities as of now. Within seconds the whole crowd was out of sight, taking shortcuts through alleyways to get away.

Eudocia had turned her attention to the dead corpse in front of her. "Ah! Maybe I can make a new friend!" She said out loud clapping her hands together. Using her telekinesis she lifted the corpse till it was standing in a upright position. The corpse's right arm moved out, it's right hand waving. It was as if it was waving at Eudocia. "I'm going to call you Gevi." She said with a bright, almost childish smile. ""Hey Gevi, do you want to join Gilgamesh's kingdom?" She asked the corpse, she used her telekinesis to make it seem like it was shaking it's head no. "Ah, that's too bad! I guess you have to die now." She said and made the corpse drop to the ground.

"Just how many times I have talked to corpses? All my conversations had been with corpses, no matter how much I hoped, how much I dreamed they would never reply. All I craved at that point was a normal conversation with somebody, not a normal life just a simple conversation without somebody having malice towards me. " Eudocia thought to herself as she stared down at the corpse. A quiet sigh escaped her lips and she turned around to face Gilgamesh. "Sorry I couldn't go after them King Gilgamesh, I'm pretty weak thanks to coming to this new world. Don't worry though, in my own world I was possibly the strongest being on the planet!" She said puffing her chest out with pride.

Gilgamesh frowned and looked over to the monster who had caused his people to run away in fear…well maybe not. They weren't loyal yet and this wasn't the worst case scenario. Hi put his hand to his forehead as he saw her play with the corpse she so dearly enjoyed playing with and he furrowed his brow and was stuck with concentration while he heard the thing call it his friend. He chuckled a little bit at the futility of the creature and how desperately lonely it was.

The more he thought, the more he realized that this wasn't such a bad thing after all. The crowd of people would run and fear and would tell the tale of what had happened here. They would cower in fear the next time he came and they would not be so resilient the next time they offer citizenship. He grinned. No…no they wouldn't. He looked at the creature, now bathing in the blood of her latest kill, she was like a lion on a leash. HIS LEASH. While she was filthy and disgusting, she was his to command. His smile grew darker and he couldn't help but laugh.

I've always wanted a pet Lion.

She turned to face him, "Sorry I couldn't go after them King Gilgamesh, I'm pretty weak thanks to coming to this new world. Don't worry though, in my own world I was possibly the strongest being on the planet!" she puffed her chest out in some sort of territorial pride. He could definitely get used to this.

"No no no. This worked all according to plan." He walked over and patted her head before realizing a nuisance would appear. He looked lazily to the left and saw a blob of white in the distance and he knew what this meant. He groaned and rolled his eyes.

"What is wrong King Gilgamesh? Is there something that upset you?" She asked looking up at his face to make sure she did nothing wrong.

He grinned for a moment and looked down at her. She was his pet, chain and all. He rubbed her hair and gave her a look of annoyance.

"Not anything that you did. There is just a pest we need to take care of." He looked up to the blob of white were now a bit closer but their image was still wavering from the heat rising off the ground. The King walked away from his lion but decided he needed to settle this himself. A golden portal opened up above him and spears and axes, ornate from the wealth of his time appeared to peek out of the gate.

The Troopers appeared and set up a formation, taking barrels and other crates for cover. There were many more than the King was accustomed to and he noticed that they had prepared for the King. They had taken aim and one Stormtrooper, who seemed to be the leader called out to the King.

"You are under arrest for the murder of a civilian. Put your hands above your head and…"

"SILENCE. You have trespassed on MY KINGDOM! You shall leave or face the consequences. Your KING HAS NO POWER HERE! The king had a look of annoyance and fury and his own weapons had taken aim at the covered stormtroopers.

The monster in the back was awaiting commands from the King but he gave none, he turned his head and just gave her a solemn nod. She was preparing to go in and tear the people apart but the King gave a wicked laugh and his grin returned. The stormtroopers were not leaving and looked tense, as if they were about to fire at the "demented" king.

"Very well. May your corpses entertain me!" His eyes grew wide and he fired. Weapons of all kinds fired out of his gate and penetrated the boxes they had for cover, causing splinters of wood and blood to fly everywhere.

He heard the commander, "FIRE!" and he turned his attention to him. Bullets seemed to fly past his ears and some singed his armor and his hair. More of his arsenal peeked out of the portal before they flew again, now more directed at the commander and the remaining troopers who served a pathetic King.

A blaster hit the King his shoulder eliciting a deadly glare from the King and the onslaught of spears and axes continued. The blasts continued to hit the King in his chest and he grimaced in pain. He winced and let the onslaught of spears continue to rain down upon them. A few blasts caught him in the shoulder and ended up almost nicking his neck. Gilgamesh was whittling down their numbers but his armor had received numerous amounts of holes and his skins was beginning to sear. After the rest had been finished…there was no one on the streets but the King and his Lion.

"No no no. This worked all according to plan." Gilgamesh replied, walking over to Eudocia to give her a pat on the head. Eudocia was quite alarmed when he started to pat her head, however she quickly calmed down upon realizing that he was only patting her head. She could get used to Gilgamesh's patting. Eudocia was relieved that she didn't fail Gilgamesh's expectations, he seemed to be the only one who would accept her. The crowd had proved what she was thinking, she needed to met Gilgamesh's expectations. "I can't fail him! He is going to make the place of my dreams so I have to do whatever I can to make his path easier." She thought to herself, strengthening her resolve. She looked at Gilgamesh to only see him groan and roll his eyes.

"What is wrong King Gilgamesh? Is there something that upset you?" She asked her face giving signs of her anxiety. "I have to make sure that I'm pleasing King Gilgamesh or else I will lose the only relationship that I have with a real, living person!" Eudocia thought to herself, she felt her anxiety steadily rise as negative thoughts filled her head. To this Gilgamesh replied with a grin and rubbed her hair. "Not anything that you did. There is just a pest we need to take care of." Gilgamesh said, a look of annoyance still lingering on his face. Gilgamesh had started to walk away from Eudocia, Eudocia deciding it would be better to get some distance away from Gilgamesh decided to. Getting some distance to the side of Gilgamesh her back was facing a building made from stone and wood.

Eudocia stared at Gilgamesh and his gates with curiosity. Various weaponry and fancy ornates peeked out from the golden portal above him. "That must be his power, perhaps he had that power in his past life? That might be it, however why are those golden gates there with weaponry peeking out from them? It doesn't seem like magic back from my home world." Eudocia thought to herself trying to discover the mystery behind his power. Soon storm troopers appeared and had taken formation, wasting no time, obviously wary of Gilgamesh and his power. The storm troopers hid behind the barrels and using them as cover. Eudocia noted that there were quite a few of them and may need to step in to protect Gilgamesh. A sole storm trooper stepped out that seemed to be the leader of the other storm troopers.

"You are under arrest for the murder of a civilian. Put your hands above your head and…" The storm trooper said, however he was soon cut off. "SILENCE. You have trespassed on MY KINGDOM! You shall leave or face the consequences. Your KING HAS NO POWER HERE!" Gilgamesh said, cutting the storm trooper leader off. Gilgamesh's voice was full of fury and annoyance, it seemed he was going to take out all his pent up aggression on the storm troopers. Eudocia was waiting for Gilgamesh's command, she had never seen Gilgamesh fight so she had no idea how strong he was. Eudocia was ready to jump in at any moment, however Gilgamesh turned to look at her and gave her a solemn nod. Gilgamesh turned back towards the storm troopers giving a short wicked laugh. Gilgamesh flashed a arrogant grin towards the storm troopers as if saying 'you are just insects in my way'. The storm troopers displayed no anger, they knew the power that Gilgamesh had. Their faces looked tense, their eyes were focused on his gates and his own body. They knew that one move from Gilgamesh could end their life.

"Very well. May your corpses entertain me!" Gilgamesh said, with that the massacre began. Various weapons flew out of the transparent golden portals. The weapons that flew out of his portal at high speeds had destroyed the barrels and crates that they had used as protection. Wood and blood flew in the air, the pained screams of the storm troopers and the sounds of the weapons cutting through the air, destroying whatever they hit filled Gilgamesh and Eudocia's ears.

"Fire!" The commander shouted which earned Gilgamesh's attention. The storm troopers had finally started their counter attack, however Eudocia knew that the storm troopers counter attack was futile. More weaponry peeked out of the portal, the weapons were directed at the storm troopers and the commander of the storm troopers. "It seems he's starting to put an end to this fight, I'm surprised I didn't expect King Gilgamesh to have such a powerful ability." Eudocia thought to herself as her eyes followed the various weapons zooming towards the storm troopers.

Within minutes the only people that were left was Eudocia and Gilgamesh. The onslaught of the weapons had finally ceased, the bloodied corpses of the storm troopers littered the road. Eudocia walked over towards Gilgamesh as he closed the golden portals. "That was amazing King Gilgamesh! I didn't know that you was that strong." Eudocia said in a joyful, almost childish tone. "Of course, I am King Gilgamesh the one who claimed all the treasures the world had to offer. That was a small show of my power, remember this scene well. All those who stand in the way of my kingdom will be reduced to this!" Gilgamesh said, and simply nodded to the mess of corpse and broken barrels and crates.

"Yes King Gilgamesh, I will remember your display of power. However King Gilgamesh, we should find a place to sleep. I know that it's the middle of the day however you never know how fast word can spread around here. We need to sneak into a inn, since I doubt that locals would welcome us if word spreads about what we did." Eudocia said and started to look around trying to see if there was a inn near them. "I can't believe this is how they treat their king yet they look up to pathetic, poser king! I shall teach these insolent fools who their true king is!" Gilgamesh said and started to walk off, looking over his shoulder at Eudocia indicating that she should follow him. Eudocia jogged to catch up with Gilgamesh and once she reached him she slowed her pace trying to match her footsteps with Gilgamesh's. As they began to search for a inn Gilgamesh took the liberty of switching his armor out for his casual attire.

"Pet, tell me about yourself. You intrigue me so I will let you tell me about yourself." Gilgamesh said looking straight ahead keeping his eyes out for any sort of sign that indicated a tavern. From what Eudocia could tell Gilgamesh still seemed a little annoyed about the fact that they had to sneak into a inn just to have a place to sleep. "Gilgamesh wants to know about me! I wonder what he will think when I tell him about the things I done. I wonder if he would leave me? No, he even accepted me when I had told him that I was a notorious, vile, evil monster. If he wanted to leave me he should have had a great opportunity to leave with the crowd when I was killing that man. Not to mention I had told him that I liked to the taste of flesh. So I guess it's okay to go into full detail about my past." Eudocia thought to herself, giving a few slight nods before beginning to tell Gilgamesh her story.

"My name is Eudocia, King Gilgamesh, as you already know I'm a monster. If your wondering I don't mean that figuratively I'm literally am a monster despised by humans. My world from my current knowledge used to be completely magic dependent. Humans were the only sentient lifeform back on my home planet, there were these monster called danger beast that humans used as materials for various equipment and such. One day humans started to wonder how the world works, why things do certain things. That was when 'Nock' was formed, it started out as a small group of people however it grew to become a large group. After decades had past Nock had accomplished a lot, they figured various theories out and had sufficient knowledge to back it up. Soon humans had faced a problem, that the danger beast were going extinct. So Nock was tasked with finding out how to recreate danger beast. Since there were a limit number of danger beast they decided to experiment using humans to create danger beast. They managed to make one successful experiment, me. Nock couldn't sell me as materials since I was the only successful one so they ran experiments. During that time I only had books to read, I read mostly about magic and such. Soon the kingdom I was from went to war and they demanded me to be used as materials. However me knowing magic and having the danger beast's powers. I attacked and successfully escaped. However wherever I went I was hated, I was so lonely. Whenever I was going to fight the army of knights I was teleported here. Their lucky that Omni saved their life, I was so close to escaping the continent to!" Eudocia said, sadness obvious from her tone.

Gilgamesh stopped in his tracks making Eudocia run into his back. Eudocia stepped back rubbing her nose as she looked at Gilgamesh curious as to why he stopped. Gilgamesh turned around looking down at Eudocia. "Eudocia, you have no need to fear loneliness anymore. For when my kingdom rises you shall be one of my citizens, I protect my citizens and I treat them fairly. When my kingdom rises once more you shall be surrounded by people, who look at you with kindness and respect." Gilgamesh said, his voice filled with confidence. "If I'm with Gilgamesh I feel that I can make the way easier for him making his dream as well as my dream come true. I look forward to seeing the kingdom with my own eyes." Eudocia said a bright smile coming onto her face, she then realized that Gilgamesh had started walking without her again and rushed after him once more.

Several minutes had passed after Gilgamesh giving Eudocia his encouraging words, a growl had came from Eudocia's stomach. "Sorry King Gilgamesh, may I have a short stop? We can rest in that alley over there." Eudocia asked pointing to an alley that was found between two houses. "You may go ahead and rest, however I refuse to rest in such a place. I shall take my break when our chambers are secured." Gilgamesh said crossing his arms with a hint of annoyance on his face. Eudocia offered a nod to Gilgamesh and quickly moved to the alley. A sigh escaped past her lips as she sat down resting her sore feet. "I guess I'll get some food." She said to herself, and stretched out her right arm. She opened her palm letting the rainbow orb float above her palm once more. "What do I want to eat though? Maybe I should get some chicken again, hm. I guess some chicken would do." She said to herself, and closed her eyes focusing on summoning the water bottle and large chicken leg again. She felt the painless burning sensation in her chest again, she felt both hands gripped around something. She opened her eyes to find the water bottle and chicken leg in her hands again. She looked at her arms to only find them covered with blood from the man she had killed earlier. The blood had already dried and clung to her skin, this earned a sigh from Eudocia. She had to wash up before she went to bed, she didn't mind eating food when she was covered in blood.

After finishing the meat on the chicken leg she dropped the bone in the alley and proceeded to drink her water. After finishing the water she clapped her hands together trying to get the chicken crust off her hand. She walked out the alley to only find a annoyed Gilgamesh. "Sorry I took so long King Gilgamesh, are you ready to resume looking?" She asked and Gilgamesh didn't bother replying. Gilgamesh started to continue walking in the direction they were walking in, Eudocia followed after him.

The sun was setting and they had finally reached their destination. Eudocia peeking inside the window only saw the desk clerk asleep which indicated the lack of business the inn had. "King Gilgamesh, this place appears to be good. I don't know how many people are inside it appears to be a good idea to find an open window so we can get inside." Eudocia said in a hushed voice. Luckily for Gilgamesh and Eudocia the inn only had one floor so they didn't need to worry about getting on the second floor. "These insolent fools, I can't believe their making their king resort to sneaking around hoping to get into a horrible place." Gilgamesh said, his voice full of annoyance. "I'm sorry King Gilgamesh, once we have made your kingdom rise back up we will not have to resort to this." Eudocia said trying to calm Gilgamesh down. While they examined the perimeter around the Inn Eudocia discovered a window was slightly cracked. Peeking inside she found a room with a bed, a bedside dresser and a lamp. Opening the window all the way Eudocia easily crawled through it. Gilgamesh on the other hand managed to get through but with more difficulty. "King Gilgamesh, you can rest on the bed and go to sleep if you need to. I'll wash this blood off me and sleep on the floor when I come back." Eudocia said and went out the window again leaving Gilgamesh alone in the room.

Gilgamesh looked at the bed as his pet had walked over to clean herself. She glanced at her pale hands, completely stained by the blood she was enthralled with. She was walking over to the restroom glancing at her filthy hands in some sort of sorrow. She looked at her hands as if she was departing with a lost friend and once again pressed the flakey, dried up blood against her face to feel the brief sensation of killing the beloved 'Kevin'. She smiled a forlorn smile and she disappeared with the sound of a door shutting behind her.

The sound of flowing water came from the room as Gilgamesh inspected the red sheets that had decorated the bed. Gilgamesh walked over looking at the bed, which looked more like a horrible framing of wood covered with a cheap mattress and some blankets they had lying around the house. He looked at the pathetic excuse for a bed with disgust and he reached to touch the bed as if he was testing the waters. His face made a grimace as he touched the red wool that decorated the bed and it's tackiness against the wooden walls. The fabric was not as bad as he thought, it was slightly softer than he though and he felt the bed sheet underneath. He wasn't sure if he was just too tired to notice that the fabric was not of his caliber or that this motel had actually decent quality of materials. He felt the material underneath it and it felt completely gorgeous to what he had the other night. This motel reminded him of home, well a crappier version of home. Gilgamesh crawled into the bed and his lights went out. The last thing he heard was the faucet that his pet was washing herself with…

Gilgamesh awoke to the bright sun gleaming through the window and the breeze tickling his nose. He woke up and got up from the bed lazily, the bright, burning sun blinding his eyes and heating him up. He got out the bed and let out a yawn, this thing was more comfortable than he had expected. His clothes were full of wrinkles and he lazily tried to brush out the wrinkles in his clothing. The night had released a lot of stress from Gilgamesh and he felt that the tension of the past few days wipe through his system. He saw Docy sprawled out on the floor, obviously more tense than himself and he almost felt bad that she laid on the floor instead of him. Almost. He looked back to his comfortable bed and wondered why this place was so completely isolated. He bent over to the curled up monster and he saw her long silky hair, a mess on the floor. He tapped her shoulder and she waved her hand, he tapped her again and she turned to see him. Her horns scratching the floor and her eyes filled to the brim with the sleep sand that still lingered on Gilgamesh's eyelids.

"Wake up. We should be…"That very moment he realized why this Hotel was isolated. His pet seemed unaffected because the bed's were…they were infested with lice. His entire body grew aflame in itches and he started to scratch a little here and a little there, his entire body ablaze and he frantically tried to put out the flames.

"Is there something wrong King Gilgamesh?" Her voice seemed concerned and she had no idea what he was doing and she acted like he was being possessed or worse. Her eyes were following his hands and she outreached her hands in an attempt to help him solve his problem. Her hands were trying to decide whether to touch him or not, leaning towards the first. She eventually started to rub his leg and a sense of relief washed over Gilgamesh and he breathed a sigh of relief. A giggle was let out of Eudocia's mouth and Gilgamesh realized what he had let her do. He glared at her and slapped her hand away from him and gave her a stern no, which in turn received a strong pout. The flaming itches returned and her offer looked tantalizing and he eventually let her satisfy her cravings.

Gilgamesh and his pet escaped to the outside through the window and they were met with a busy town, full of people. Some people avoided the two and soon the bustling streets were retreating to the inside of their 'safe' homes. Gilgamesh gave the buildings glares that could kill has he continued to walk down the street, with his pet on her 'leash'. His crimson eyes burned aflame, matching his skins reaction underneath his Golden Armor. The passion in his eyes was tangible while Eudocia seemed to be minding her own business tagging along and listening to Gilgamesh's orders.

A literal tumbleweed passed along their path and they both stopped to let it pass. A woman from a neighboring house appeared out with two small children. It was obvious that she had low, income. She was dressed in rags, her children looked famished and sick and they all looked to be unbathed and on the brink of death. She walked up to Gilgamesh and took a knee not really giving much mind to his lion. She still held the kids by their hands and dragged them down to their knees as well. They seemed to be at maximum six and had no idea what their mother was doing, and how right she was to do what she was about to do.

"Gilgamesh…King Gilgamesh. I wish to be saved from your wrath and that you protect me and my children from the fiends that lay across this land." her head peered up and Gilgamesh looked down on her. He nodded his head and crossed his hands across his chest.

"Very well. You and your children shall be under my protection." Gilgamesh said, the passion in his eye wavering and a bit of satisfaction was traced through his voice. A small grin began to form on his face and he extended his hand.

She got up and she began to back away, always facing Gilgamesh, not wishing to displease him.

"Wait one moment. As a token of my good will, and what my reign would be underneath my kingdom." He commanded and she approached to him once more. Her kids hid behind her and his outstretched hand began to flow with the rainbow orb. The children broke out of their hiding and looked at it with amazement and after a couple of minutes a silver platter of Babylonian delicacies formed on his hand. The mother's eyes grew as he offered this platter of food. She felt ecstatic that she could feed her children.

"How can i ever thank you?" She replied.

"There is no need. All life will be like that…Underneath my rule."

Eudocia looked at the blood on her hands, the blood from the man that she had killed. "How long was it when I started to enjoy killing the ignorant people?" She thought to herself, pressing her hands against her cheeks, rubbing her cheek against the hand affectionately. After coming back to reality she opened one of the two doors inside the room, closing the door behind herself. She turned the faucet on the sink, letting the sound of flowing water fill the room. She put her hands under the flowing water letting the dried blood come off her hands. Lowering her head towards the flowing water she started to splash water on her face making sure to get any dried blood on her face if there was any. Looking at her blood stained blouse she decided to summon some new clothes. Holding her right arm out with her palm open, the rainbow orb came from her palm floating above it. She closed her eyes and started to think of what clothes she should summon. She felt the painless burning sensation in her chest arise again. Within a minute she felt her hands clutch around soft fabric. She opened her eyes to see a black dress in her hands. The black corset dress came down to her knees. At the end of the dress there was black frills, as well as black frills on the chest area. There was a large white ribbon on her back as well as a smaller one. Looking at the lovely dress she was hesitant about putting it on right now since she was about to go to sleep. Deciding that she would rather wear it tomorrow she opened the bathroom door with the dress in her right hand.
Opening the door to the room she saw Gilgamesh already sleeping on the bed. She looked over herself making sure there was no dried blood on her skin, after confirming there wasn't she laid down on the floor closing her eyes. "Today has been a long day. I just hope we are closer to making Gilgamesh's kingdom." Eudocia thought to herself as she drifted off into her slumber. Eudocia had woke up in the middle of the night, her back sore from sleeping on the hard floor. Turning on her stomach she slept on her stomach. Eudocia had woke up a few more times that night, however she didn't want to wake up Gilgamesh so she remained quite and tried to go back to sleep. She felt a tap on her shoulder, however she was still somewhat asleep and tried to just go back to her slumber. With another tap she turned over only to see Gilgamesh standing over her.

"Wake up. We should be…" His words trailed off as he started to frantically scratch his body. "I wonder if King Gilgamesh is okay? It doesn't seem to be an attack and his skin is a little red." Eudocia thought to herself while she watched the King scratch himself as if his life depended on it. "Is there something wrong King Gilgamesh?" She asked her voice full of concern for her king's safety. Her jewel-like crimson followed Gilgamesh's hands, it she came to the conclusion that her king just had a really horrible itch. She outstretched her hands out trying to help him with his itch, however she was hesitant. "Would King Gilgamesh mind if I help him?" She thought to herself, her hand retracting and going back towards Gilgamesh as a sign of her hesitation. After hesitating for a while longer she decided to help Gilgamesh with his itch, her hand starting to rub his left leg. A sigh of relief came from Gilgamesh as Eudocia helped him with his problem. A giggle escaped her mouth, she was happy that she could help her king solve his problems. Looking at Gilgamesh she noticed that his face filled with relief had turned into a glare. She puffed out her cheeks in a adorable pouting way. Gilgamesh's face crumbled after denying Eudocia's request, soon Gilgamesh gave a wary nod and Eudocia helped Gilgamesh's itch.

Soon Gilgamesh and Eudocia was on their way into town after Gilgamesh gave Eudocia some time to change into her dress. They escape the room by going through the window, Gilgamesh had changed into his prized golden armor. "I wonder if I should get me some really cool armor like that." She wondered to herself as her and Gilgamesh walked through the town. She glanced around herself to see people escaping in their homes, some even running off to tell everybody that the king was back. As they continued on their way they noticed a tumbleweed pass through the road devoid of people other than Gilgamesh and Eudocia. When she saw Gilgamesh stopping to let it pass by she stopped as well, letting the tumbleweed tumble on by them. Soon a woman emerged from a house near them, her leading her kids by their hands out towards Gilgamesh. Eudocia had thought that she was getting ready to become her meal, however the mother dropped to her knees forcing her kids to do so as well. "Gilgamesh…King Gilgamesh. I wish to be saved from your wrath and that you protect me and my children from the fiends that lay across this land." The woman said, craning her neck to look at Gilgamesh's expression. He nodded his head and crossed his arms across his chest.

"Very well. You and your children shall be under my protection." Gilgamesh said, his eyes burning with passion to build a new kingdom and his voice having a tiny hint of fulfillment in it. Gilgamesh extended his hand, a grin making it's way across his face. The woman got back to her feet and backed up, she didn't turn away from Gilgamesh as a way of showing her respect towards him. "Wait one moment. As a token of my good will, and what my reign would be underneath my kingdom." Gilgamesh commanded to the woman and children. Gilgamesh's hand began to flow with the ever so familiar rainbow orb. The children that were hiding behind their mother came towards Gilgamesh and stared at the rainbow orb with amazement. The woman and children did as they were told, they stayed still as King Gilgamesh had commanded them to do. Soon a silver platters filled with various delicacies had formed on his hand. The mother's eyes grew wide upon the sight of the food. "How can I ever thank you?" She asked King Gilgamesh. "There is no need. All life will be like that…Underneath my rule." He replied, his eyes burning with passion and the same grin on his face.

"Listen to me people of Carrefore!" His voice boomed throughout the empty street. Eudocia could see a number of faces peeking through their window shades. "I, King Gilgamesh, am going to offer you all a chance to join my kingdom. For all those who join me you will no longer have to suffer poverty! You will have a safe haven. I will be back to Carrefore, me and my pet are going to establish a kingdom out in the desert. Make up your minds whether or not you will go and be part of my new kingdom. For those who stand in the way of my kingdom they will be put to death!" He said his voice unwavering and full of confidence. He turned towards the woman who was letting her children stuff their faces while also taking some food for herself. "You, I want you to spread the word about my kingdom. Of course you are welcomed to my kingdom once we come back as well." Gilgamesh said which earned a deep bow from the woman. "Thank you King Gilgamesh, I will never forget your benevolence." She said however Gilgamesh just gave a nod to the woman and turned around walking away from the street. Eudocia followed behind him traveling a couple steps behind him.

The unmerciful desert heat happened to rain down on two individuals who were unlucky enough to be walking in the desert during such a hot time. One of the individuals was King Gilgamesh, he was wearing his casual clothing. Gilgamesh had changed his clothing back when they left the town, there was no way that Gilgamesh could wear his armor through the desert. The other individual was Eudocia. She was following behind Gilgamesh, her arms hanging down as if they were limp. Sweat was dripping off her brow, she felt as if this heat was truly unbearable. "No, I must travel through this for the sake of making Gilgamesh's kingdom rise again." She thought to herself, her eyes blazing with new found resolve. Eudocia stared off into the distance, however she saw something move. Getting in front of Gilgamesh she focused her vision on the weird moving object. The object, which seemed like a monster of some sort, was no more than thirty feet away from them. "King Gilgamesh, do you want to find another direction to go? There seems to be a monster up ahead, I'm not sure how strong it is. If you don't mind me saying how long till we reach a suitable spot? We have been walking for hours."

The black moving object up ahead was a monster called Neapt. The Neapt are generally peaceful monsters unless provoked, they are used in a few human settlements as transportation. They are typically 1.8 meters tall and have defined muscles underneath it's hide. Their muscle portions make them great creatures to be used to carry things or people. They have a water storage container in their pronounced throat, making them able to last longer without getting water. They are also well known for their ability to converse water. When it comes to combat these monsters are quick and use their pointed horns to stab their enemies. They never fight unless they are provoked by people who have hostile intentions.

Gilgamesh felt the beating sun down on his face and even his Golden God-like body had began to break a sweat. He was thankful that he did not put up his hair this morning, his golden locks fell over his face giving him shade. He looked over to his 'Lion' and saw she was practically panting and looked as if she were about to die. Her skin was flushing red and she was drenched in sweat, her hand constantly wiping her forehead to keep the salty liquid from running into her vision. He frowned to see his loyal subject in such trauma and continued to scan the desert for anything, life, water...anything but these Endless Dunes.

His lion became alert and she took a few steps ahead from her King and peered out into the sands looking for anything. It appeared she spotted something, while Gilgamesh only looked out and saw the heat beaming above the sand. Her expression was drastic and she turned to Gilgamesh with a concerned look.

"King Gilgamesh, do you want to find another direction to go? There seems to be a monster up ahead, I'm not sure how strong it is. If you don't mind me saying how long till we reach a suitable spot? We have been walking for hours."

He walked up next to his pet and put his hand over his eyes, providing some momentary shade from the blinding sun. He saw something black in the distance. The creature looked like Omni's twisted mount, much more vile and aggressive than the cavalry that Gilgamesh was accustomed to.

Gilgamesh had no energy to fend off these creatures nor he had the will to even put up a fight. His sweat giving his body a ferocious odor that could kill anything. He and his pet however bad both grown accustomed to these stenches and Gilgamesh began to dream of a bath.

Oh how he dreamed of the luxuries he had once been blessed with. The luscious bed, the red, satin sheets, and the exquisite food and wine. Oh how he missed the food and wine. Not just the taste but the servants that came along with it. He remembered how they would feed their King as if he was their God...well he was their God. He was their sole purpose in life and he was able to lead his armies into battle, outnumbered by the thousands and his armies still managed to stand victorious.

He snapped out of his trance and looked at his lion awaiting for his orders, attentive like his old subjects.

"You are right my pet. It is best that we should not mess with these things, there might be worse further along. For now we shall move east."

He looked in the direction to his left, the sun directly above him, giving absolutely no sense of direction at this time and place. Carrefore is to the south, carrefore is to the south. He chanted in his head, he would remember and recruit more people. He lazily pointed his finger to the place he assumed was East. He could tell his pet was getting tired and he needed to find a suitable piece of land soon

The two avoided the monsters and could see them continuing to run free in the distance. Hours passed and the sun was still beating them down, relentlessly. Eudocia was now reduced to a crawl and Gilgamesh unable to think continued to walk along and search for their new kingdom.

Out of the distance buildings began to appear and Gilgamesh pulled Eudocia up. He could feel his sly grin return, he would no longer have to work. He would let his people do the work. Gilgamesh started to laugh uncontrollably and his pet curiously looked up at him and back to where he was looking. She took note of the buildings, obviously abandoned and long forgotten. She filled up with more energy, barely enough to keep her afloat and the pair began to stumble over to the town.

The pair entered the abandoned town and took note of the moldy buildings, the green substance seemed to thrive upon the wood. A building creaked next to him and Gilgamesh jumped to the side for fear that it might crash. He smiled a smug smile even though the town looked like a desolate wasteland. There was water around here, they can't settle a mining town if there wasn't.

The King sat on the ground and opened a portal, two glasses fell out followed by a vase, containing a liquid. The King poured out the wine into the two golden glasses and he handed one to his pet. She took the glass and Gilgamesh closed his eyes. He held out his hand revealing the Rainbow Orb that was so vital to life as he finished a sip of his wine.

He heard the slurping sounds from his pet and his brow furrowed. A scratch her and she poked the King.

"King Gilgamesh what are you doing?" Her incessant banter annoyed him but he kept his calm and opened an eye.

"Pet, please make yourself useful and take a map of our territory. Make sure you tell me where the well is."

"Yes King Gilgamesh!" He closed his eyes and he heard the faint footsteps of her feet against the sand. He concentrated on the orb before him as he let the blissful peace of isolation come to him. About an hour later 4 men appeared before him. Their attire was obviously older and their white cloaks already getting worn away with the sand. Gilgamesh greeted his four most trusted servants and a smile came upon his face. They took a knee before him and all said, "Long Live Gilgamesh."

The King stood up and greeted his servants before his pet came panting running towards him.

"Ahhh I see you finished?"

Her eyes were wide, "King...we have a problem."

The sand was shifting underneath Eudocia's hands and feet. Sweat was rolling down her face, her bangs was sticking to her sweat forehead. "So, hot!" Eudocia thought to herself, she had been reduced to crawling through the desert along side Gilgamesh. Back on her home world she had never experienced anything this hot! She felt as if the very blood that ran in her veins was turning into hot lava, going to melt her insides out.

She felt a tug on the back of her blouse as she would raise to a stand, her knees shaking threatening to give out on the poor monster. She looked at Gilgamesh who had just pulled her to a stand, a sly grin on his sweat covered face. Gilgamesh suddenly broke out in laughter. This made Eudocia a little worried about her king.

"Is Gilgamesh going crazy? Did this heat really get to him that much that it made him see something crazy? Even I don't think that I will go crazy from the heat. That just might be me though, who knows King Gilgamesh may have never experienced this much heat as well." Eudocia thought to herself, staring at her king with curiosity shining in her eyes.

She followed her king into an old abandoned place. Eudocia was filling up with more and more energy. The building provided some shade from the sun and Eudocia was guessing that they were going to establish Gilgamesh's new king here.

"I can't believe King Gilgamesh is finally going to settle down! Then we can start making his empire, I can finally find I place where I belong. Ah, no more being treated like a monster. I will be hailed as one of the founders of his new kingdom! I wonder what King Gilgamesh will do when he establishes his new king? He might expand his land, after all even though I had been with him for a few days I can already tell what kind of personality he has." Eudocia thought to herself, letting out a faint sigh as she realized how egotistical her new king was. However she didn't really mind his odd personality, after all her king had accepted her so she will accept him.

Eudocia took note of the old buildings that had green moss growing on them. Her king had even jumped away from a building in fear that it would fall on him, this got a little snicker from Eudocia. She stared at Gilgamesh as a smug smile had appeared on his face.

"I wonder why he is so excited to establish in an abandoned town like this. After all it's just an abandoned town." Eudocia thought to herself, giving a slight shrug of her shoulders.

She looked at Gilgamesh as he took his seat on the ground. The same golden portal opened, letting two glasses and a vase come out of it. She watched as the thick, red liquid flowed into the glass. Gilgamesh offered Eudocia a glass and she eagerly accepted it. Eudocia starting to sip on the wine, the rich, exquisite taste filling her taste buds, sending a shiver down her spine. Eudocia sipped on the rich wine, she stared at her king wondering what he was doing.

"King Gilgamesh what are you doing?" Eudocia asked, tilting her head slightly to the side. "Pet, please make yourself useful and take a map of our territory. Make sure you tell me where the well is." Gilgamesh retorted, his tone slightly annoyed with Eudocia. "Yes King Gilgamesh!" She said, hurrying to a stand, leaving her glass sitting by Gilgamesh.

She had decided to explore the area a little bit more, trying to get a better layout of the place. Sweat continued to dribbled down her brow, she had wondered what her king was doing right now. A bitter sigh escaped her lips as she realized that he is still drinking that delicious liquid that he had, she had to make a mental note to ask him where he had that from, more so where he had tasted that. After all Eudocia had been on the run for most of her life and had never gotten to dine like royalty.

"Ah, it's still hot outside, maybe I should go back to King Gilgamesh." Eudocia thought to herself and decided to stop and rest by an old building. She sat down in front of the building, she felt the fatigue of walking all day start to wash over her. She thought that she could use a little nap, so she leaned back on the building. When she leaned back she saw something brown run across the ground.

"Eh!?" She let out as she stumbled forward, her hands clutching the sand as she flung herself forward. She turned to look at the mass of brown insects that came from the building she was leaning on. Eudocia quickly stepped back, the sand shifting underneath her feet.

Eudocia's face paled as the brown insects had started to swam out of the building. Eudocia had started to back away from the gathering group of insects. They made no charge towards her, they instead started to gather together. The brown insects stacked on top of each other, stretching out to form a scarab. The scarab was a brown mass of moving insects, it's height came to be two meters tall. With the sight of this, Eudocia turned around and ran back off towards Gilgamesh.

Luckily the beast didn't find her, and with a few breaks she was there. Eudocia was panting heavily, sweat continuing to fall down her face. "Ahhh I see you finished?" Gilgamesh asked, turning around the see his pet gasping for air.

"King...we have a problem." Eudocia managed to word out. Gilgamesh narrowed his eyes at Eudocia, demanding her to tell him what was the problem.

"Speak pet." Gilgamesh stated, his voice unwavering at the sight of his pet panicking. "Yes... my king. I saw these bugs come out from the building and turn into a monster." Eudocia said, paying no mind to the people who were right behind him. "Are you delirious? Has the heat been getting to you?" He said with a hint of annoyance in his voice, after all who would believe somebody who had ran up to them to say that a group of bugs had formed a monster?

"It's true my king! I had been walkin- I mean! Mapping out the area like you have commanded me. I went to..... investigate a house, trying to see if it had anything worth bringing to you. However these bugs came out of the wall and formed this tall monster. You have to believe me King Gilgamesh, why would I run all the way over here to give you this false story? What should we do about this monster?" Eudocia asked, she looked up to the tall Gilgamesh, after all Eudocia wasn't the one making the call around here.

"Very well, I shall see if this story of yours is true. Do be aware of the consequences that waits for you if your story is false. Show me the way, servants come with me as well." Gilgamesh said and stood there, his arms crossed over his chest, obviously waiting for Eudocia to lead the way. "Yes King Gilgamesh." Eudocia replied and started to make her way towards the area where she once saw the monster.

Within twenty minutes that had found the monster, even though it had moved from it's location all they had to do was follow the trail of bugs squirming on the ground. They soon found the disgusting beast crawling through the sand. "My king, how should we deal with it?" Asked Eudocia, looking up at Gilgamesh. "Give the beast a surprise attack, that is if you have ranged attacks." Gilgamesh replied.

"Oh! I do have one... give me a moment and stand back please." Eudocia asked, giving Gilgamesh a slight bow. Gilgamesh complied with Eudocia and stepped back. Eudocia pointed her head outward, aiming it towards the monster. A red ball appeared between her horns, the red ball starting to quiver. Eudocia adjusted her head a final time to make sure that the beam was going to hit the monster. "Niver!" With this the red beam launched towards the mass of moving insects.

The King looked in amusement as his pet began to unleash her fury upon the collected beast. He took a step back, like she had suggested and a sly grin began to form on his face. His pet's brow was furrowed as she concentrated on the red, shaky ball between her brows began to quell with power. His grin darkened, his eyes filled with limitless opportunities as he watched his pet unleash her fury upon the Scarab. A red beam flew out of her horns impacting the unsuspected monster causing the Scarab to deform and many of the brown bugs that had built it were now scorched and burnt alive.

"See King?! I did it, I am so powerful! Aren't you proud of me?" His little pet exclaimed as the falling mess of green monsters fell on the floor into disordered shambles. The smile on her face showed she was eager to make her King happy. Gilgamesh patted his Lion's head and smiled as he noticed movement out of the corner of his eye and his smile had gone away. His pet followed his eyes and noticed that the Scarab monster was not yet dead, it was reforming, tossing away the dead bodies that were now useless to it. It was slightly shorter now but it was still standing, and it looked pissed off.

His pet looked at the abomination, "I am so sorry King, I will take care of it right away!" The same red ball appeared between her horns again and her brow furrowed. The Scarab was closing in on them and Gilgamesh could get a better look at the beast now. The brown things were actual scarabs, the one's that those pesky egyptians had an affinity for. However, they seemed to clump together and form a larger insect. It's head was the shape of a human, however it had clamp jaws that could grab a person. It's torso had four spider-like limbs and it seemed to roll over the scarabs it had, having no distinct feet.

The red beam flew out again, aiming directly for the chest of the beast, however the beasts chest opened up allowing for the beam to pass through. It began to close in faster and the King's pet stood there confused about what had just happened. She panicked and another red orb began to form between her horns, but yielded to the same result.

Gilgamesh opened up the Golden Portal behind him and he grabbed the two swords. The gold handles shimmering in the sunlight and Gilgamesh frowned. His brows furrowed as his pet furrowed her brow.

"You dare step into my Kingdom! AND TARNISH MY CAPITAL! Your body shall not litter the ground that I walk upon." His eyes flared up as if he were delusional. His aspirations to build his Kingdom here had altered his mind and made him think too highly of this poor town. He knew he would change this into a luxurious town where it would suit his tastes and would bless those that were wise enough to join him. A grimace on his face formed as he charged towards the beast. The mere sight of the abomination disgusted and angered him, NOTHING would stop him! Not this beast, not the 'king', not even his pet could stop him now. They were all pawns on his chessboard and HE WOULD NOT LOSE! Not now.

He walked over his gold armor materializing onto his body, his swords in hand. The cold steel reflecting his iron will as he walked over to the disgusting creature that tainted his future city. The monster had no change in it's face, its constantly moving parts forever faceless. It closed in on the two and his pet tried to get the thing but it was to close to her King. She felt helpless as her King began to deal with the mess.

The King noticed as one of the four blades swung at Gilgamesh as he blocked the blade. The monster's blade feel apart and many of the insects flew out in Gilgamesh's direction falling upon his armor. The King jumped in disgust and his face became livid as he wiped off the insects that tainted his armor.

"You disgusting filth! You shall not longer taint my land." He said as he dug his blade deep into the chest of the beast. The monster's flesh swallowed his blade, taking it from his hand and seeming to absorb it. The blade seemed to flow through the beast and the four blades had formed into two humanoid hands, one of which grabbed onto it's new weapon.

"You dare steal my treasures? Let us see how far your thievery gets you." His crimson eyes flared with disgust as he swung his sword, clashing with the beast's futile attempts to learn swordsmanship. The beast blocked in time, however Gilgamesh managed to land a blow straight to the creatures neck cleaving some of the brown abominations that made up the beast. A flash of Gold streaked through the monsters head and Gilgamesh would not press down. Another clang, another slash, another clang, another slash, another clang. The same flash of gold appeared over and over again.

His grimace turned into a stressful smile, his effort leaving a sweat on his brow. A piercing scream came from the things mouth and Gilgamesh flinched. His eyes opened as a stream of monsters flew out and hit him square in the chest leaving him flat on the ground with a sea of Scarabs crawling over him. He scrambled to get up and that's where he saw it. A Golden Scarab was crawling and the entire thing was reforming again. He brought down his sword cutting some of the monsters and a leg off of the Golden one. The entire floor below him screeched as the mass screamed in pain. It scattered over the floor in a panic reassembling into the creature. The thing seemed to bleed Scarabs…constantly. Gilgamesh smiled, So this was how it was going to be.

The creature let out another high pitch squeal as it swung more blades at it in the flurry. The King was forced to go on the defensive. The monster didn't let up it continued to swing at Gilgamesh and a fist of scarabs came at Gilgamesh and knocked him to the ground. The monster brought up a blade and began to swing down it's descent onto Gilgamesh however it stopped short of it's destination. A red beam comes and hits the beast in the face tearing it apart disassembling into the pool of Scarabs. Gilgamesh took a knee and spotted the golden, limping Scarab in the mass of brown. He stood up and put his heel behind the Scarab and a loud squeal emanated from the flood as the King rolled his foot and crushed the King Of Scarabs. The Golden Beetle splattered onto his golden boot and the brown Scarabs futilely attempted to save their King before they all crumbled and died. Much like Gilgamesh. If he dies, everything goes to shit.

He gave a disgusted look towards the corpses beneath him as he carefully stepped over the large number of courses he saw his pet gleaming, proud of her contribution. He walked over and petted her for a moment and glanced at the house that the beetles scurried out of.

"See King Gilgamesh I am useful." His pet exclaimed behind him jumping for joy. Gilgamesh waved for his pet to come and she walked up next to Gilgamesh looking at him weirdly for his fixation on the broken house.

"Is there something wrong King?" A Golden Portal was her response opening up for Gilgamesh's weapons. His weapons flew out, demolishing the house, not stopping until there was nothing but splinters on the ground. A sly grin came on his face and Eudocia gave him a questioning look. The open space was perfect, and his servants came close to the King examining if he had any wounds or not.

"My Pet, come here, lend me some of your Omnilium." He sat on the floor, closed his eyes the Rainbow orb flew through him and into his hand. He attempted to summon his palace again but he felt the burden feel easier.

"My King how long do we have to do this…" His pet whined. He opened one of his eyes and saw her sitting beside him with a bored look on her face. Curiosity and boredom were shown on her face and she let out a sigh.

"I am not sure my pet, but just keep on it. It shall be a worthy reward." They sat there for hours and he boredom flashed up and kept annoying Gilgamesh but he persisted that they continued. This time it was much easier and no backlash came from it. He smiled and he felt the Omnilium disappear from his hand and he opened his eyes. He saw his servants smirking as his pet's jaw dropped wide open. The Marble Palace that was so familiar with the Babylonians had left the Lion impressed.

"Welcome my pet, welcome to my Palace." The King grinned, sighing in fond reminiscence.

Eudocia was happy that her king was fighting the monstrosity! However he seemed to have some problems dealing with the vile creature so she launched a beam at it, thus making a opening for Gilgamesh! The beast was slain and Eudocia had helped out her king greatly with her powerful moves.

A smile floated on Eudocia's face, she was smiling as if she was a child at Christmas. "See King Gilgamesh, I am useful!" Eudocia stated, puffing out her chest in a cute manner of her pride. One could even swear that they saw a glint coming off from the tip of her horns.

She looked curiously at her king when he had asked her to lend him some of her Omnilium. She wasn't really against giving her king some of her own Omnilium but she wondered why he needed it. Why did Gilgamesh also clear down the house? Eudocia was starting to think that the creature had corrupted him or the heat was getting to him. But seeing that still arrogant display he was putting off she just gave a shrug.

"I wonder what King Gilgamesh's past was like. I do have to ask him about that later as well, right now he looks like he's concentrating on something so I shouldn't bug him. I wonder what can I do? I shouldn't move too far away from King Gilgamesh since another monster might appear." Eudocia thought to herself, giving a few slight nods.

Boredom.... that was one of the things that Eudocia felt. The other being the heat that was flooding her every being. It was too hot! She could have sworn that it was getting even hotter now. She was bored waiting for her king to do whatever he needed to do.

"I miss Gevi." She muttered, puffing out her cheeks. She was sure that she would at least have somebody to talk to if Gevi was still here. However she didn't want her King to be too mad at her for bringing her friend along, he didn't really seem to keen on that idea.

"My King how long do we have to do this?" She asked getting tired of waiting all day for her king to finish up what he was doing. She stared at Gilgamesh with wide eyes when he mentioned that he didn't even know how long it would take to finish up what he was doing.

"I wonder what I will have for dinner tonight. Maybe some chicken again? I don't think I can summon a child.... maybe I should try that later. Wait! I don't wait to make a mess in front of my King. He may not like me eating flesh...., well there is also the fact that I can't tear through flesh like I usually could. Who knew being here would limit my powers this much!" Eudocia talked to herself, letting out a sigh of disappointment when she realized that she may never get to eat flesh again anytime soon. Boredom had overtook Eudocia, she even starting to revert to her old habits of talking to herself.

Her king was still on the floor, trying to do whatever he was going to do. Eudocia had started to play with the sand, trying to form a structure with the sand. Eudocia pouted whenever the sand didn't stay and with a sigh she gave up on the idea of making something with the sand.

"Making I should actually take up a hobby now. I never really got to do anything back on my planet, perhaps I should make some friends. Oh! I could use some more friends. Gilgamesh is my king however I do need friends... maybe I should ask some of the girls back at that one town to be my friend? Oh! Maybe I can see if anybody wants to play with me and Gevi. Actually, did Gevi have a family? Maybe I could play with them, yeah. I'm sure Gevi would want to see his family again." Eudocia said with a bright smile on her face.

Eudocia had no morals she thought it was only natural that somebody would want to see their family again. She considered Gevi to be 'alive' at least inside her mind. Seeing such a person in this state makes somebody wonder exactly how tragic her past must be to resort to consider corpses 'alive' in her mind.

Soon Eudocia looked up with her jaw wide open. She had saw something pop into place however she couldn't believe she missed the palace forming! In the place where Gilgamesh knocked down the houses there was now a large palace!

"Wow! King Gilgamesh it's amazing!" Eudocia said, her child-like joy coming back over her.

"Go my pet, explore the palace that was made by us Babylonians." Gilgamesh said, a smirk gracing his face once more.

Eudocia pushed past the palace doors entering the palace. She was in love with the sight that was in front of her. The interior of the palace was a lovely golden hue. The floor was spotless, made of out black and white marble tiles. At the end of the hall there was a grand staircase leading up and splitting into two, one side going to the left the other going to the right. The railing of the staircase was made from fine wood, the steps were made from fine marble as well.

She took a few steps in the hall, her shoes kicking off bits of sand that she had on her shoes onto the floor, however Eudocia was too captivated with the sight of the palace to even care. Self-portraits of Gilgamesh lined the walls, a variety of them being him wearing different, exquisite attires.

There was another doorway that led to a hall, the hall led to various rooms which included the kitchen, living room, dining room, and other various rooms.

"My King! I'm going to take a room upstairs, I'll see you later!" She said and dashed down the main hall going up the staircase and taking a left. She roamed down the marble halls, various doors lining along the wall. She had taken a guess that they were free rooms that they could use for something else, however she didn't want any of the rooms near the staircase.

She continued to walk down the hall until she reached the end of it. There was one door to the left that seemed empty. Eudocia opened the door only to find a luxurious bed already in place! The walls inside the room were a golden hue as well. There was a closet and a dresser for Eudocia to use for a variety of outfits. The bed looked like one for royalty! The bed had red silky sheets that tempted Eudocia to come for a rest every single time her crimson eyes met with it.

"Ah! I'm so tired!" Eudocia said and was about to plop on the bed. She stopped herself when she realized how dirty she was, she didn't want to tarnish her new bed. She looked around the room and saw a door. She hurried into the room and to her hopes saw a sink, a toilet and a bathtub.

Her face lit up and she dashed over to the tub, turning the water on letting hot water fill the bathtub. As the water filled the tube Eudocia striped, letting her clothing hit the marble floor. She jumped into the water, letting out a sigh of relief as she felt her muscles relax in the warmth of the water. Her ears flicked in joy and she leaned her head back against the wall, relaxing in the water.

Soon she was out of the water, she donned new clothing. She wore a simple pair of jeans that wore relatively popular back in her world and a white t-shirt that said in bold red words 'Lil monster'. She had thought that the shirt looked cute, without a second thought she plopped on the bed.

She turned her head to the side, closing her eyes as she rested her head on the pillow. It was time for her to go asleep, it had indeed been a long, long day. However a knock at the door interrupted her from her sleep. She walked towards the door, rubbing her eyes. When she opened the door there was one of Gilgamesh's servants.

"The King has requested you to attend dinner." He stated, his tone respectful towards Eudocia.

Eudocia flashed a bright, childish smile. This was one of the few, few, few times that somebody had actually talked to her.... of their own free will. This delighted Eudocia, only to know that she will have more friends and people to talk to.

"Okay!" She said and rushed past the man and down the hall. Eager to see her King who was waiting for her in the dining hall.

The King grinned as he saw the palace that was all to familiar with him. He glanced towards his servants who looked bemused at his pet's face gleaming with awe. They seemed to smile and almost laughed in amusement and their King rolled his eyes at them. He walked up to his pet and extended his arm, almost offering this palace to her.

"Go my pet, explore the palace that was made by us Babylonians." Yes, this was his palace that he had made for him and he knew that she would have to take one of the servants quarters. Her eyes gleaming as she opened the giant doors of his palace and she saw the luxuries Gilgamesh took for granted. Her ignorance however, limited her appreciation of the finer things. As she rushed inside she allowed the dirt and dust to follow inside, tainting the white marble on the floor. Gilgamesh looked at the stain repugnantly and waved for his servants to come closer. The four came hurriedly, waiting on every word their almighty King utters.

"You three clean up this mess and make me something to eat, and please do hurry. Anos, do follow my pet and make sure she does not break anything. Also please do make sure she is entertained as long as she remains of use to me." The three servants had already gone to sweeping the marble floors and were trying their hardest to impress their King however Anos, the eldest of the three had experienced the will of the King before. He had grown accustomed to his style and already knew he was well in the King's favor.

Anos was an older man, much older than Gilgamesh. Wrinkles and grey hairs had just began to taint his appearance and his blue eyes contrasted the crimson of his King's. He bowed his head and began to enter the house, without much haste.

"As you wish my King." His voice trailed off as he was going to do his King's bidding.

Gilgamesh smiled, he can't believe he was getting accustomed to the pathetic living of commoners. This was more like his style. He took off his shoes handing them to a servant who did whatever he could to appease the King. Gilgamesh smiled…this was the life he used to enjoy. He fondly remembered the fame and how every citizen would hang on his word and would feel blessed by his presence. Oh how he sweetly missed Babylonia…The lush pleasures…the massive amount of treasures…the power. A grin came onto his face as he saw his pet rush up towards the stairs.

"My King! I'm going to take a room upstairs, I'll see you later!" Her voice traced of happiness and excitement which was perfect. He loved powerful pawns, especially one as obedient as her.

Anos slowly climbed up the stairs following her, grabbing onto the golden rail that was so purposefully placed. He saw her disappear to the upper level, hearing her feet stomp on the ground. He sighed, she could not truly appreciate the luxuries that he had been blessed with. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed the servants running into the Kitchen, the door flying from it's hinge. He frowned, he would have Anos deal with their misconduct. He knew that they wanted to impress him but this was absurd!

He walked in the other direction and opened a door into a hallway that was decorated so heavily with the riches that he had been blessed with. He stopped by a window that had filled the hallway with the bright light from the sandy Dunes from outside. He approached the window and squinted his eyes to see outside. It was a disappointment, the view was clearly inferior to that of Babylonia. He sighed as he saw the deteriorating town that he sought to improve, the tumbleweed passed outside of the giant window and Gilgamesh closed the red, silk curtains. He continued his walk towards the door on the other side of the hallway. He pushed open the door into a room that was rather large and closed off from the world. The room was to Gilgamesh's liking, the windows were covered but there were candles and incense lit and then there was the best part. The large pool that lay before him began to steam as he took note of the burning coal heating up the water.

Classic Anos…at least he knows what he is doing. The King took of his casual clothes and began to relax in the boiling water, the steam relieving him of all the stress that had occurred in the past couple of days. He began to melt and let himself sink in the water. The flickering candles provided just enough light that he could relax but not be in the dark and the incense provided a contrast to the dust that had tainted his skin. The warm water melting all of his stresses and the dark room made it so comfortable…until…the room…began to fade away…and Gilgamesh could not resist the tempting offer to sleep.

He jumped out of the water, something had awoken the King and he turned to see Anos standing above him. The faint smile on his face flickered, illuminated by the candles he had so dutifully set for him. Gilgamesh relaxed and allowed himself to float in the water as his servant began to speak to him. His crimson eyes standing out in the darkness.

"I see you are glad I had a servant set this up for you." Gilgamesh grinned in the water revealing the answer.

"Ah yes, Your majesty Dinner is ready, Pheasant Napoleon is on the menu for tonight along with a nice salad. I hope it meets your expectations."

Gilgamesh floated around in the water a moment before answering. "Yes, that sounds delicious." He paused for a moment, thinking.

"What room did my pet decide to take?" Anos walked over to the curtains and opened them, letting light taint this secluded environment. Gilgamesh exited the pool and walked over, drying himself with a towel that had been so thoughtfully placed.

"Ah yes, the creature…she took the guest room. She is currently enjoying a bath. Would you like her to join you in dinner?" Anos turned around looking at Gilgamesh starting to dress into his clothing. The clothes felt good on his skin, very kind to his royal skin. The material was so nice, however he needed it to be washed…oh well he'll have someone else do it for him.

"Ah yes, feel free to invite her over. I have many things to discuss with her, many future plans." Anos nodded as Gilgamesh was finishing getting ready. He fixed his hair as he opened the door, leaving the pleasures of his old life behind him.

"Many future conquests." His grin came back as he looked forward to the starting of his Kingdom.

Eudocia dashed throughout the hall, the sound of her feet hitting against the marble floor echoed throughout the empty hallway. It was a wonder how such a childish person like Eudocia could turn into a sadistic killer at the flick of a switch. It was truly a wonder. Eudocia had arrived at the dinner room in a matter of minutes. She slammed the reddish brown door open. Gilgamesh was sitting at the end of a long table that could hold at least twelve people. On the walls there were a few more self-portraits of Gilgamesh. Gilgamesh motioned to the seat beside his own, indicating that Eudocia should take it.

Eudocia sat down on the right of Gilgamesh. The chairs had cushions which made it tempting to never leave such a comfortable chair. A white table cloth covered the long table, the ends of the table cloth covered in frills. A growl was heard from Eudocia and she puffed out her cheeks. She didn't realize exactly how hungry she was. Eudocia turned to look at Gilgamesh, his eyebrow twitched slightly in annoyance.

"King Gilgamesh! I'm hungry, when is the food coming here?" Eudocia asked, slumping down on the table. Eudocia's chin rested on the white sheets and her arms were on the table. Eudocia wondered what they were having, she would expect something fancy since this was Gilgamesh's servants that were preparing the food.

"Wait pet. The food will be out when they get done with it." Gilgamesh said a hint of irritation in his voice, nevertheless he managed to regain his composure. Within a minute of waiting the doors opened once more. However this time Anos came walking inside pushing a cart filled with sliver plates.

"Ah! Finally the food is here!" Eudocia said enthusiasm obvious from her tone. Eudocia perked up, narrowing her eyes at the sliver plates. She could see the meat that was on them however she didn't know what kind of animal they were from. Anos moved to give Gilgamesh and Eudocia their plate, setting their plates in front of them along with some exquisite wine.

"My King, I gave those younger servants a lesson in manners. I do apologize for their misconduct." Anos said, giving Gilgamesh a deep bow. "Please punish me in any way you see fit my king." Anos added, his body in a 90 degree angel. To this Gilgamesh narrowed his crimson eyes at Anos and gave a simple shake of his head.

"Anos. I treat my servants greatly as you already know that. Why would I punish a servant who has severed me well? Raise your head Anos." Gilgamesh said his voice unwavering, full of confidence. Anos gave a sincere nod and with Gilgamesh's word he was dismissed. Anos left the room pushing the cart back out, he took his place outside next to the door giving the room to Gilgamesh and Eudocia.

"Ah! I can't wait to eat. I have been waiting for this all day." Eudocia said and started to dig into Pheasant. The meat was tender and well-cooked, the spices that were on the meat gave it a unique taste. It helped the flavor dance around Eudocia's tongue. This was indeed high quality food, Eudocia reached over grabbing the glass of wine. She took a sip of the aged wine and let out a sigh of relief upon tasting the delicious blood red substance.

Eudocia decided to eat her food in silence. She wanted to savor the tasty food and wine and apparently so did Gilgamesh. They had both been wanting to get eat something delicious all day. Eventually they finished their food, Gilgamesh was the last to finish.

"Ah, so did you want to talk to me about anything? Oh. Thank you for that meal King Gilgamesh it was delicious." Eudocia said giving a short nod towards Gilgamesh. Gilgamesh closed his eyes, as if thinking about what he wanted to say to Eudocia.

"Yes my pet. I was thinking about what other land we shall conquer. This is just a small step in our plans. Next we shall go and see if more people want to join the kingdom. The problem that we might have is other primes around this area. They might try to ruin my plans for my kingdom. If they do prove to be hostile then we shall take them down. If they prove to be okay with us we shall ask them to come and join my kingdom. If they then refuse again then we may either just kill them or keep a close eye on them." Gilgamesh said looking at Eudocia asking her to state her opinions about his idea.

"I agree my king. I think that we have to expand our control. We may even have to go separate ways so we can both spread more influence this way. I don't think that there will be any primes too strong. After all coming to the Omniverse must have weakened their powers as well. You seem pretty strong as well my King so I have confidence in our combined strength." Eudocia said giving a few nods.

"I suppose you are right pet. Let us resume this discussion tomorrow morning over breakfast. Think of some more ideas that we could use." Gilgamesh said, clapping his hands together. Anos entered the room again rolling the cart towards Eudocia and Gilgamesh. He took the empty plates and wine glasses and without a single word left the room again.

"I shall be off to my chambers. I will see you another time." Gilgamesh said and exited the dinning room. Eudocia waited a minute letting out a sigh of relief. That was a great meal and she just wanted a minute to relax and soak in her surroundings. Eudocia had never gotten the chance to stay in a palace like this.....one without dead corpses in it.

Eudocia pushed her chair back coming to a stand. She then made her way towards the door pushing it open. A yawn slipped past her lips. Eudocia walked towards her new room, her eyelids starting to feel heavy. She soon found her room and opened the door closing it behind herself. Eudocia didn't bother taking off her clothes and flopped onto the bed, crawling under the sheets.

Eudocia reached over to flick her bedside lamp off. She snuggled with one of the fluffy white pillows that was on her bed. It was time to go to sleep. Her thoughts before she went to sleep were of what to do about spreading their influence.

Gilgamesh sleepily got up from the table and pushed open the oak doors that led out into the grandeur hall. He sleepily opened the door as he let out a massive yawn. As he entered the main room with the tiles on the floor he took notice that the dust was gone and let out a little smile. His life was beginning to become back to the way it was…when he was alive…those were the time…His mind drifted as he began to lazily climb up the steps, his hand on the oak railing and his feet dragging behind on the red carpet that decorated the staircase. The King made a turn to the right hallway, and looked causally at all of the servant rooms…reminding him of the many people that used to take care and pamper him. He reached the end of the hallway and took note of the large door before him, the inscribed words on the middle of the door. "The King's Chambers" in cursive writing, the door opened before him. Gilgamesh let out another tired yawn before stumbling inside the room, the pheasant had tired the king out and he was inclined to just pass out right there and then. Gilgamesh took note of the young servant who had opened the door for him and with his other hand held out a glass of water. The King smiled and took the water up and took a sip of the cool, crisp water. He waved his hand and the door shut behind him, leaving Gilgamesh all alone in his room. Gilgamesh put his night garments on and his snugly, sleeping hat. He walked next to his bed and put his water down next to his night stand, and casually opened a portal to the fun device that the King had enjoyed playing with.

He turned on the mysterious device and selected the Omnitwitter app, I wonder how many of these "Followers" I had gained today. I'm sure the people on this device had learned to love me. His grinned disappeared from his face and his eyes scanned the words on the screen over and over again. The more he read the more his face grew red. His eyes were filled with hate and he grit his teeth together. His breathing became heavy and labor. A loud scream of rage filled the entire castle and Gilgamesh rapidly typed up garbage before throwing the device on the ground. His door flew open and Eudocia, and his four servants were breathing heavily, obviously from running.

"My King what happened?! Are you in danger?" Anos said, looking around for any sort of danger. He walked up to the King checking if there were any signs of harm to his King and breathed a sigh of relief when he found that his King was angry…like usual.

"That insolent wretch! How…how DARE SHE SPEAK LIKE THAT TO A KING!" A vein was bulging on his forehead and he pointed towards the device on the floor. Anos was talking to his King, calming him down while Eudocia bent over and picked up the device. Gilgamesh began to simmer down and his composure began to come back, and Eudocia covered her mouth, hiding an obvious smile.

"Thank you Anos, I-" His speech was broken with his pet's laughter and the clang of the device on the floor. The vein was bulging again on his head and he took a deep breathe and let it go. He pushed everyone else out of the room out and shut the doors.

"Thank you all for being so considerate, I feel quite tired after this chain of events and we have a busy day tomorrow." A somewhat forced grin on his face as he said all of that and he let of sigh of relief once he closed the door. He went over to the ground and picked up the device, a little shard of glass had broke off and Gilgamesh let out another sigh as he rolled his eyes. He walked over to his bed's golden curtains and opened them, laying in his bed, typing some last messages before he put it away and fell asleep.

The sun broke in through his curtains and sparkled on the King's face, awakening him. Gilgamesh let out a yawn and got up from his bed, wiping the sleeping sand from his eyes. He opened his enormous treasury and put on his favorite white dress shirt with a pair of black pants. He opened the doors and went straight away for the dining hall, he was starving after the rage he went through last night. He sat at the head of the table, with his head, well rather hair, in a disarray. He started to fix his hair as he was waiting for his chef to come out with his meal, with a sleepy Eudocia coming into the room sitting next to Gilgamesh.

Anos came out with more silver platters featuring a more recent dish, Pancakes! Eudocia frowned at the dish, hoping for something more carnivorous. The next platter, however got her smiling, a plate of crispy bacon. Her eyes widened and she began to chow down, trying to hold back, however failing miserably.

"I've decided today to recruit the people of Carrefore and to attempt to rebuild my land. Then we shall have the bases of my Kingdom." The King let it out casually as he took another bite of his fluffy, white pancake. All he heard was a "Mhm" from Eudocia's full mouth. The King let out a little smile before finishing his breakfast in, almost peace. Gilgamesh looked at Anos and he already nodded his head, making sure he would look after the palace.

The two left the comforts of the palace in a somber way, their faces sad as they left the embrace of luxury and now had to endure another traverse across the Endless Dunes. Gilgamesh turned around and noticed the large palace that now was distinct in the town…they would be able to come back to this place. He took note of the sun's rise and took a metal picture of what the place looked like before they went into the dunes.

"…Uhhh pet…do you remember where Carrefore is?"

Eudocia plopped down on the soft bed. She was then overtaken with her drowsiness and closed her eyes. A blissful smile came to her face as she rubbed her cheek against one of the pillows on her bed. Eudocia had never really slept in a bed that was as lovely as this. She had been on the run for her entire life and never really slept without a worry however she felt like in the first time in her life she could sleep peacefully.

She heard a scream that sounded like her king's voice. The scream had echoed throughout the house! Gilgamesh must be in pain or is in danger. Eudocia jumped off the bed that had tempted her to stay. Nevertheless Eudocia moved and slammed the door open, she had saw four other figures moving down the stairs which she presumed to be Gilgamesh's servants.

They continued to move down the hallway, when they reached the steps Eudocia jumped down it getting ahead of the servants. Eudocia pushed the door open letting her see the hallway that led to the kitchen and the king's room. Eudocia continued down the hall not noticing the marble statue of Gilgamesh.

Eudocia reached Gilgamesh's room and slammed the door open. Anos called out to his king making sure that he was okay. Anos pushed past Eudocia and came to Gilgamesh scanning his body for any injuries. Anos breathed a sigh of relief after making sure that Gilgamesh was unharmed.

Gilgamesh was furious, he looked like his head was about to explode from how angry he was. A vein was noticeable on his forehead and Anos was calming Gilgamesh down.

"M-my king, that insolent wretch shall learn manners! Just calm down getting worked up over some petty scoundrel shall learn to cower when they hear your name. Just take a deep breathe king and we shall handle it from here. No need to worry your head over something so trivial as somebody as lowly as a peasant." Anos said a wry smile coming onto his aged face.

While Anos had been trying to calm down Gilgamesh, Eudocia had took the device that had mad her king so mad. Luckily the page was still pulled up and Eudocia was reading what a.... child? Had posted to Gilgamesh. Upon the first few tweets a smile came to Eudocia's face and she covered it up with her left hand. Her king was getting told off by a child! Eudocia still had a sense of humor and this was indeed hilarious.

Eudocia couldn't take it anymore and dropped the phone causing it to crack. She bent over clutching her stomach as her laughter filled the room. The mighty King Gilgamesh had gotten told off by a ten year old! All he could do was let out his angry, yet that didn't change anything. Ah, this was truly hilarious!

Gilgamesh pushed Anos against Eudocia and Eudocia pushed against the group of servants. Gilgamesh gave his farewell to the group with a somewhat of a forced look on his face. He then slammed the door behind Anos. Even then Eudocia's laughter was still heard, what Gilgamesh had done made the whole thing even funnier to Eudocia. The servants and Eudocia walked back to their rooms lazily, Eudocia's laughter had ended. Anos went beside Eudocia asking what was so funny.

"Ah, King Gilgamesh was using this strange app to talk to this child online. He was posting about him doing stuff and about his greatness yet this child had told him off! I guess that was what had made him so mad." Eudocia said, letting out another giggle.

To this Anos only let out a sigh, Gilgamesh was still the Gilgamesh that he remembered after all. "That seems to be just like King Gilgamesh." Anos let out giving a small chuckle. Nevertheless he did hope that his king wouldn't worry about it too much. He shouldn't be hinder over some child spouting nonsense after all.

The other servants went towards Anos and asked for the story. They each let out their own chuckle and commented that Gilgamesh shouldn't worry over it as well. However they all wanted some sleep since they were awakened from their own slumber to check on their king. Eudocia let out a yawn as they all lazily climbed the stairs, Eudocia's right hand trailed up the wooden rail.

The servants returned to their respective chambers while Eudocia was still walking down the hall. She continued to feel her drowsiness overtaking her. She could have sworn that her own bed was cooing her name. Eudocia slammed open her door and closed it back behind herself. She plopped back onto the bed her horns accidentally stabbing into the sheets and mattress.

Eudocia went wide-eyed as she felt her heart rate increase. Cold sweat was instantly seen on her brow. Eudocia quickly pulled her horns back as she wondered what she would do as she stared down at the holes. Eudocia let out a sigh of relief trying to calm down, she could worry about it tomorrow. Eudocia flopped back down onto the bed and went under the sheets. She closed her eyes and snuggled up with the pillow. Soon she entered her own little dreamland.

A knock was heard from her door awakening the sleeping Eudocia. Eudocia lazily rose from her sheets and slowly made her way towards the door. When she opened it Anos was standing there. Eudocia looked curiously at the servant wondering why he had came to her door.

"King Gilgamesh has requested that you attend breakfast." Anos stated. Eudocia gave a slight nod to Anos. She pushed past Anos, Anos knowing better to get near her sharp horns backed up so Eudocia wouldn't impale him. She was still tired from being awakened in the middle of the night thanks to her king screaming. However she didn't bring up such a topic to Anos or Gilgamesh.

Eudocia shuffled down the hall, her eyes still distant since she had just woke up from her sleep. She wanted to go back to bed but she knew that she had to go to breakfast or else she would be dealing with a angry Gilgamesh and she would rather deal with a lack of sleep.

Eudocia lazily walked down the halls while Anos hurried down the stairs. It appeared like he had something to attend to in the kitchen. Eudocia continued to walk towards the dinning area and pushed open the doors. She was greeted with the sight of Gilgamesh trying to fix his messy hair. Eudocia herself didn't bother to fix her messy bed hair and just lazily sat down next to Gilgamesh. She could see Gilgamesh glancing down at the cracked phone as if he was checking on something.

Soon their food came, the servants opening the doors and pushing a silver cart which had plates of food on them. The servants gave Eudocia and Gilgamesh their plates, laying out a plate filled with.....fluffy pancakes. Eudocia's eye twitched, she was definitely not a fan of...anything that wasn't meat. Eudocia started pouting however when the servants laid out a plate filled with crispy bacon her face instantly brightened.

Eudocia's body shivered as she tasted the well-cooked bacon. She was glad to eat the bacon, she would take bacon over a pancake any day! Eudocia continued to stuff the bacon in her mouth, when she ran out she looked at Gilgamesh to only see that he was glancing at his phone. Eudocia managed to sneak one bacon off his plate while he was distracted. They finished their breakfast in peace and quiet.

Gilgamesh had wanted to go back to Carrefore. Eudocia's face darkened, she would have to transverse against the awful, awful desert! Eudocia let out a faint sigh and gave a nod to Gilgamesh. She really didn't want to go across the desert but knew that it would be better to go with Gilgamesh.

Eudocia walked through the ruined town with Gilgamesh in front of her. Eudocia didn't think anything about it since Gilgamesh voiced no opposition to her walking beside him. The servants had walked behind Gilgamesh and Eudocia, taking in the surroundings of the town. Eudocia took this moment to look at her surroundings. Eudocia was ready to get more people to form Gilgamesh's kingdom, she was ready to make the place where she belonged.

When they were a fair distance away Gilgamesh had turned to Eudocia asking where the direction to Carrefore is. To this Eudocia let out a quiet sigh. "I have a faint memorization of it, it is better than nothing." Eudocia said trying to hide the despair in her voice. However when she said faint she really meant faint.

Eudocia had taken off in the direction she remembered and after ten minutes of walking she had a shout come from behind her back. She turned around to see a red faced Gilgamesh, his eyes twitching in annoyance. He looked as if he was on the verge of exploding with anger, Eudocia covered her mouth with one hand as she let out a short giggle that Gilgamesh didn't hear. Eudocia had guessed that Gilgamesh saw the new post that the child had said.

"My hair style is one of a king's!" Gilgamesh said abruptly, clutching the phone in his hand in anger. "My king! Don't let that insolent wretch insult your hairstyle. I can guarantee you that she is simply just jealous of your hairstyle since she simply cannot afford it! Remember King Gilgamesh that insolent wretches cannot understand your greatness, let them learn when it is simply too late." Anos said comforting his king to make sure that Gilgamesh didn't get too mad.

Soon Gilgamesh was calmed down again and Anos let out a mute sigh. Eudocia continued leading the group kicking up a small cloud of sand along the way. Sweat was already coating Eudocia's body, she wanted to turn back and head to the confines of the luxurious palace! However she knew that her king would simply convince her to continue walking since Eudocia was the only one who had a vague idea where Carrefore was.

"I wonder how many people will be willing to join us. I mean, they do have very little in that town however there is no guarantee that people will take too gladly to us for killing off a town member. Then again, that woman did come to beg Gilgamesh. I wonder how long it will take to find Carrefore, it did take us several hours to find this place hopefully it would be shorter." Eudocia thought to herself as the heat didn't let up on the group.

"My king are we there yet?" Eudocia asked looking back at Gilgamesh. "Pet, you are aware that you are the one leading us right?" Gilgamesh replied, his voice having a hint of annoyance at Eudocia's pestering. This had earned a blank look from Eudocia before she gave a nod. Eudocia face was in cold sweat, she could only hope that she was going the right way.

It had been a few hours since they had left. The heat had been unmerciful continuing to beam down on the group of wanderers. Their pace had slowed and they looked tired. Eudocia's shoulders lopped and her arms hanged lifelessly in the air. It was unbearable for Eudocia who was used to cool, relaxing temperatures the others were handling it better. Gilgamesh was giving his phone glances, checking to see what that girl had posted about him now. However he did let out a rage filled shout which indicated that she had replied with nothing.

"I wonder if we will see Gevi. Maybe I can meet his family, I'm sure they would have lots of fun with me. Uh, the blood inside me feels like it will turn into lava any second! Gilgamesh how far are we from Carrefore?" Eudocia asked, a layer of sweat coating her body. Gilgamesh threw a annoyed glance at Eudocia who was complaining. "I don't know pet. Just keep walking and hopeful we will see it." Gilgamesh said and a golden portal opened up above his hand. A golden grail came out of the portal filled with crystal clear water. Gilgamesh took a drink from the grail and let out a quiet sigh. The portal opened back up again taking the grail away.

Eudocia did what they usual did to survive the almost blood boiling heat. She had summoned water bottles and given them out to the servants and took some water herself. They knew that they wouldn't stop moving doing that would only waste time. They didn't even want to think of the journey back to the palace. Soon they came across a familiar sight, it was a field of monsters that had looked like weird horses. Eudocia brightened up at the sight.

"Look King Gilgamesh! We saw those monsters which must mean that we might not be too far from the village. Well... at least we are making progress!" Eudocia commented, cheerfully pointing at the monsters. "That or they could have moved quite some distance pet." Gilgamesh replied. Bringing down the cheerful Eudocia. To this Eudocia only continued onward, making sure to avoid the group of monsters.

In the distance of Carrefore six lone figures could be seen. The people had been on the edge. The word was keep tight from the storm troopers but they knew that Gilgamesh was coming back. Only a select few had known, the woman had been wise and went up to the ones who had been complaining about their lifestyle here in Carrefore. They group of people who had known about Gilgamesh's kingdom had been waiting for him to return from the deadly desert.

Soon Gilgamesh had walked into Carrefore, Eudocia and his servants following behind him slightly. He keep walking on the make-shift sand road till he went further into the town. Soon Gilgamesh stood in front of a crowd filled with dumbfound people. Gilgamesh materialized his golden armor, the glare coming from it blinding some of the people in the crowd.

"Citizens of Carrefore! I, your king has returned! Rejoice as I now stand before you all offering the chance of a lifetime. I will allow anybody who is willing to venture out into the desert with me and my servants to go to our palace. Once we reach there we can promise you all food and protection. No longer will you have to worry about starving to death or wondering if you will be killed by some bandit. In my kingdom New Babylon you all shall be equal under my rule!

Me and my servants have went into the unmerciful desert and came back to tell the tale. We Primes have a unlimited amount of resources, we can survive out in the desert by spawning water and food. We are strong enough to defeat any monsters we encounter. There is no need to fear my future citizens, you all shall be treated nicely for following the true king.

Those who want to join my kingdom, New Babylon, step forth! Let yourself be known. Let yourself be known that you are now a Babylonian!"
Gilgamesh stated, crossing his arms against his chest plate. His crimson eyes scanned across the crowd, looking at them. The crowd had grown since others could hear Gilgamesh's loud voice booming throughout the street. Some of the crowd had split off. Some went to inform others while some went to go fetch storm troopers.

The woman and her children stepped up once more. They bowed deeply towards King Gilgamesh stating their absolute respect and submission towards him. "I would love to thank you once again King Gilgamesh for your benevolence." The woman stated still not lifting up her head. "No need to thank me for being a great king. Babylonians receive this kind of treatment." Gilgamesh stated waving off the woman's bow. The bow guided her children to stand a little behind the servants and Eudocia.

More and more people came up to Gilgamesh, stating how they wanted to be apart of his kingdom. In the past seven minutes fifteen people had gathered behind Gilgamesh. He was rather annoyed that the town didn't realize his greatness and come to New Babylon however it would look bad to yell at the insolent crowd right now. With a wave of his hand Gilgamesh turned around and started to head back into the desert. However he stopped to turn to his four trusted servants and his pet.

"Do....you remember the way back?" He asked the servants and Eudocia. To this Eudocia's body tensed and cold sweat was visible on her brow. However Anos stated that he remembered the way back which caused Eudocia to breath a sigh of relief. Soon Anos made his way to the front of the crowd along with Gilgamesh, Eudocia and his servants. With this the crowd was off.

It had been around a hour since they ventured out into the desert. Some of the children were complaining about how they were thirsted or needed to use the bathroom. At this time everybody would get to have a break from walking to eat, drink or take care of their other business.

Hours and hours of walking and slipping past the monster they were soon in the old ruined town. They had seen nothing but sand for miles and miles however now they could finally see something else. The New Babylon citizen's faces that were filled with despair were now bright smiling faces. Gilgamesh went in front of Anos and turned around to the group.

"My citizens of New Babylon. This shall be our kingdom! We shall raise it from the ground and create New Babylon! It may be hard at first but the rewards shall be great. Now let us show the Omniverse who the 'True King' is!"
