I dislike the original direction I went with Jim's Super Moves and was wondering if I can submit to have them changed? I would do so in the Move Approval, but I would bump my T1 Super Attack to my T2 and create a different T1, and change my T2 Super Defence.

You can upgrade T1 super moves to T2 super moves and pay the difference (i.e. pay 200 OM). It works the same way as upgrading a normal move in that regard. Take it to move approval and say that you're upgrading a move if you wish to do this.

You can also modify existing super moves as you would a normal move. With super moves there's more leniency on how much you can change "functionality" compared with normal moves - at least for super attacks and super defences (as they all deal or block damage). But, for example, you can't replace a T2 super defence where you teleport out of the way with a T2 super defence where you make a shield, for example. Unless you refund the first super and buy the second super normally.

Depends how different the replacement is. If it's just a reskin, maybe changing some numbers (like tweaking the size, fire rate, etc.) then yeah, you can do that.

But you can't replace a sword with an axe or anything like that. You'd have the buy the axe move at the full price.

Depends how different the replacement is. If it's just a reskin, maybe changing some numbers (like tweaking the size, fire rate, etc.) then yeah, you can do that.

They're both 300 OM guns, and besides you losing the 3-shot burst thing and gaining a strong shot, I don't see why not. You don't really gain any functionality.

Secondly after reading about the Requirements involving Recognition, is the only real requirement that you have to have written 50k words in a verse?

If so does it happen automatically?

The fortnightly thing was replaced with rest points.

Recognition is not automatic. You need to ask for it by making a thread in the help desk (and ideally linking all relevant threads and noting their word counts). And if those 50k words are just you counting rocks or "just chilling", it won't be awarded - you need to be doing something. Only words that are written inside the verse count. So you cannot get Coruscant recognition if you write 40k in Coruscant and 100k of you chasing up Coruscant bounties elsewhere, for example. Furthermore, NPC threads do not count towards recognition for your main character. It's 50k+ words of your character doing noteworthy things (stopping crimes, building a base, helping out villages, slaying monsters, killing people - whatever strikes your fancy, the line is vague and as long as you're not counting rocks or just going for leisurely strolls then you'll probably be fine).

I was just giving my roster a look over when I realized the above move probably needs Area Defense prof? I don't have that. Should I go buy it or can I re-write the move so it's not necessary?

Anyway, you've got two choices here.

Option A: Buy Area Defence.
Option B: Go to approval and rewrite the move to limit the defended area to have a 3ft diameter at most. (Which won't need area defence)

When a Writing bonus is given, how does the bonus OM get added? Is there a queue that a higher level staffer will get to, or should it be immediately added by the staffer that graded it? Do bonuses still get added to the Purchases/Deductions log?
