Question: Why wasn't there a deadline set for this last round? It's been weeks and there's only been one post. In most of the other DD threads, characters were killed off or took heavy damage for being late or missing posts. I don't want to be rude, but can you guys, like, hurry up. Reasonably, based on some of the other threads, it's more feasible for everyone here to just die (or barely escape at best) and say Nebula has got his foothold in the verse. Although you guys haven't really been doing damage so idk.

Maybe I'm missing something behind the reasoning - but I couldn't see anything in the OOC about it. I figured you'd want this thread over for June so everyone can focus on DA and come back to DD once that's over (probably after a short cooldown period). I get some of you are probably busy, but you guys have been holding up the finale for months. Yeah, I know some delays have been due to Failz activity. And 'life happens'. But is there any way we can just bite the bullet here and guarantee this thread will be 100% over before DA finishes - even if any of you enter and fight.

I know this might seem like me whining or complaining, but I'm sure most other people waiting on the finale agree. And, I don't think there's anything I can do to speed it up. If I could join you in Nebula space with Eb and tag out someone who can't write, I'd do that (if I could bring Summer and Morene too). I guess I could take a shot at writing Nebula if those posts are causing the hold up, but I probably wouldn't be the best at it - especially compared to Ghidorah.

I am 100% in favor of pushing things along in any way you guys want to. Our skype thread is basically all of us (including Failz) explaining how ridiculously burned out we are from life. There were points where we were all motivated and ready and no update would come, or the host would get motivated a point we were busy. The timing screwed a lot of us up.

The whole saga was way too ambitious from the get-go. A lot of us jumped in to try and push it over the finish line. I agree that there's a point where can't reasonably wait anymore, so feel free to do what you guys gotta do.

Seconding the above post; I understand completely y'all might be having it rough, but we haven't gotten any updates to either the story within the thread for a very long time.

I just find it a bit unfair considering in the same questline, Desman and Shenron died IC pretty much instantly for not hitting the deadlines, so waiting for this for so long is a bit strange to me.

Again, I and everybody knows how it feels when delaying on posts, and it's completely fine, but please don't hold the rest of us up. I really do wanna get to the finale, and I don't even mind if it's before DA at all considering I won't be joining myself with either of my characters. Still, please do something about this, dears.

Just wanted to say, for the record: reason there was no deadline for this last round was because I didn't know when I'd have internet access again to make another update. Didn't want to set a deadline for some arbitrary date and then not be around until weeks after it or something. And because of the aforementioned everyone and their mother being exhausted/burned out from life/extremely busy.

That said, I do have more reliable access and ability to write now. So I'll be trying to get things moving along and see when/if everyone can get to writing so as to set a deadline and iron out this last bit in the deeps and move on to the finale.
