[Ambrosia Public Access] - Grizz and Panda Variety Hour

[Ice Bear]

(OOC: After I make a post saying "Call-In Segment Is A-Go, you can respond with questions/stories/etc... and Grizz and Panda will answer them live. Try to limit one per character, and the closer you are to ambrosia/the tangled greens, the better.)

A generic dissolve occurs as Panda and Grizz appear, with Panda sweating profusely, and Grizz grinning from ear to ear.

Grizz: Hello ladies and gents to the Grizz and Panda Variety hour. I am your co-host, Grizz Lee Bear.

Panda: and... uh... I'm Panda.

Grizz: We have recently come to ambrosia, and wish to know more about this wonderful town and it's neighboring cities. So, feel free in our next subsegment to give us a call, let us know what's going on in your neck of the woods. In the meantime, Panda and I are going to be researching certain aspects of this town.

Panda: Uh... yeah that's what we'll be doing.

Panda starts poking at his phone, typing in 'Ambrosia' to see what comes up.

Grizz: me and Panda actually came here because our brother was somehow summoned here... we're not really sure how. So we'd love to know more.

Panda: Uh... this city used to be a Camelot colony. The current leader, Princess Guu, actually lead a rebellion that made the city what it is today. They appearently tried to execute Guu but failed.

Grizz: oh, that's really interesting Panda. Gotta love a good ol' peaceful revolution.

Panda: uh... not sure if it was 100% peaceful or not. Also this city is 20 minutes from the "nexus gate". I guess there's some sort of landmark. Let me see what this "nexus gate" is.

Grizz: is that like the Golden Gate Bridge?

Panda: no, it's actually a teleporter that sends you to the nexus... which connects to other "verses". There's other "verses"?!

Grizz: what's a verse?

Panda: like... a universe.

Grizz: woah... we're in a different universe right now? That'd explain alot.

Panda: and they're all connected via the nexus and other interlinking teleport gates.

Grizz: Woah dude. Mind is blown. I know for people watching this might seem like a "you don't say" moment, but right now for me and Panda, not being here that long, our mind is blown. It also explains us having to drive through a portal gate thing to find Ice Bear.

Panda: Have you seen Princess Guu? She has no fingers most of the time.

Grizz: neither do we, bro, neither do we.

Panda: This is fascinating, there's more than just Ambrosia in this "Verse" known as the Tangled Greens. There's a ninja city a ways away from Ambrosia, and also a city with a big tree in the centre. I think that's where Guu and the others are right now... Y...Yagg-drasil? What kind of city name is that? How do you even pronounce that?

Grizz: I dunno, but it sounds like a heck of a cool place.

Panda: speaking of cool, the Ashen Steppes is the polar opposite of cool. It's actually very hot and volcanic. And the next verse to our left is Camelot.

Grizz: woah! That's cool. How are you finding out so much about this place?

Panda: The Dataverse has tons of info. I can search for about anything. There's even... ooooh... a dating service named oHarmony in Ambrosia. I'm saved Grizz! I'm saved!

Grizz: *beat* well that's good Panda!

Grizz: well this is a good place to open our phone lines. The phone number is on the screen.

Panda: what.

Grizz: call in with your questions, stories and whatever else you'd like to share! Oooh! we got a call all ready!

Caller (Rina): Hi! My name's Rina, I'm from Mokugakure. Ice Bear told me so much about you and how he missed you! Sometime I'm gonna come to Ambrosia to meet you two lovelies!

Grizz: aww, we all ready have a fan!

Rina: a friend of Ice Bear's is a friend of mine.

Panda: Aww. *blushes*

Rina: well, I gotta go, lunch is ready. Take care!

Grizz: aww, that was awesome. Ooh! another caller!

Caller (Prankster): *heavy breathing is heard on the line*

Panda: uh... Grizz...

Grizz: if you're having trouble breathing you should call 911 and not us, just saying.

Prankster: *breathing intensifies*

Grizz: ... *hangs up the line* well that was a thing, wasn't it? Next caller!

[Marcus Wright]

A deeper voice pops in "Hello? "

"This is Marcus, I believe I have the right number?"

[Ice Bear]

Grizz: Hello, you're on the air with the Grizz and Panda Variety Hour, Marcus. What's up?

[Ice Bear]

Grizz: Well that was Marcus. I hope you have a wonderful day. Next caller!

Caller (Pleasure Motors Guy): You know, pleasure motors-

Grizz slams the telephone down with force.

Panda: be careful!

Grizz: well it seems our phones are broken for the time being. So we'll go to a commercial break.

Panda: uh, Grizz... this is public access... they don't do commercials.

Grizz: ... they don't? Well... then that's all the time we have for today. I hope you all enjoyed our program. It was a short but sweet ride, but we enjoyed it. Thank you Ambrosia, good night!
