I'm going with a stolen, but kinda popular one:

You are faced with God and Satan. Armageddon has happened, and as the only neutral soul, with no inclination to good or evil, they must judge you personally. Unknown to them, you are Death, and you have come to claim them.

Now what they do when you and human civilization have been dead for centuries.

A library where the books are living creatures. Their personality and manner of speech are based on their contents, on who wrote them and when. Patrons come to visit and they talk to each other too.

A large apartment block whose tenants are each their own brand of 'special': from a mad scientist to a gentleman thief, a grumpy old man to a genius computer nerd, from a wall street superman to a mafioso and his wife. This can involve a single big story, or several small ones telling the lives of each one and what influences they have on their respective neighbors.
