Donated 10.00 to the site, so I can swap early if allowed.

Starting OM: 9647
Spent OM:

CHARACTER NAME:  Officially he has no name, but he has adopted the name "Dupe"

[Image: Royal-Tutor-Anime-Character-Visual-Bruno...161217.jpg]

CHARACTER SOURCE:  OC (But ties to a lot of fandoms)

CHARACTER HISTORY:   Dupe was made in a lab as an attempt to create an individual who could be the perfect clone of people, one who could mimic and download not only the skills and abilities possessed by the individuals, but their personalities. However, there was one flaw that the scientists who made the experiment overlooked. The  downside to him was that the personalities would still have their own desires, and wills although they were unaware of that at the time.

STARTING MOVES:

Smart Phone - Video Replay: Barrier MK I (Area Defense, 300.)

One of the moves that uses his smart phone, or his tablet. This allows him to replay a video that involves a hero creating a Force Field. While the Force Field may be significantly weakened, this can take damage up to his maximum. (Def versus ATK or Tec of opponent, whichever is higher). This will remain standing until such is the case. This is a purely defensive move. A good hit, or any super move could shatter the shield. It requires one hand, and cannot be used while moving, unfortunately. Takes him about 5 seconds to summon, and covers the area of a mini van around him. This is summoned around his body. It does require about 4 seconds of uninterrupted concentration for him to use. It cannot when being made be used with other moves, but after it is produced, he can use other moves while it is active for 12 seconds. The barrier is very fragile, and so a single hit could break it.

This is moderately draining on his stamina, equivalent to a MK I. It should be noted that this is only the first version of his barrier, and as such weak comparatively to any that he would gain in the future to replace it.

Bumping this, because I've donated and if Cell is correct, that resets the donation time for Veritas.
#4
Confirming that he has donated.
Curious about me and the characters I play? See the 'Staff' page! See also the rosters for my characters Samus Aran or Enel if you'd like to see examples of well-formatted rosters. Hope you enjoy the Omniverse!

Barrier: Does this require concentration while casting or can he do things like use other moves while casting it? What's the stamina drain/similar downside? Is this summoned next to him or can he summon it at range?

Blast: How damaging is the weakest version, roughly? Does it require concentration to maintain channeling? Can it be reaimed, and if so how easily? How draining is it on his stamina/energy? Can he use other moves?

I believe I have answered all of your questions related to the barrier, and the blast though I cannot be entirely sure. If I have missed anything, let me know.
#7
For your barrier, I still need to know how draining it is on his stamina. And for the durability, if you're going to have 5 seconds of cast time you can make it stronger than a single hit. It kinda seems too weak from how I'm reading it. Of course you're free to keep it that way if you want.

For the beam, I need to know if it requires concentration to channel or if taking a hit or something would stop the attack. Also, something I missed in my first read through: you have Homing and Remote Control listed as prereqs but if it's just a beam that he can't aim or otherwise manipulate, you don't need those.

I've added in everything you wanted Mark, and I hope he is acceptable. Also, could I please have a new Purchases and Deduction Log for Dupe, when he is approved?
#9
I'll be converting your old Veritas log into your new one for Dupe once you're good to go here. We like to keep track of where the OM went when people switch.

Your shield looks fine but for the beam, can you describe how it homes? Like how long will it follow the target, how tightly can it turn to reverse direction, etc?

I believe that is everything, but if I am wrong, I will make any adjustments required.
#11
While I have no problem with the weaker versions of the beam working as you've described, I feel like the charged version will need some other downside. Like moving slower or turning wider maybe? If you have any other ideas we can talk those over too, I'm just worried about a move that strong basically being an auto-hit when used on a slower player.

I've taken the Blast Move back to the drawing board.

Upon considering the concept of Dupe, I have decided he would be better off as an NPC Prime. Therefore, I've decided to go with someone different, if that is alright, someone I have played in the past. Therefore, I've put the char I'm swapping to below.

CHARACTER SOURCE:  NFL Rush Zone

CHARACTER HISTORY:    Originally Warren Zimmer loved spending time with his dad Richard Zimmer. However his dad was always too busy, working on experiments with the Core which was a powerful energy source from outerspace. This led to his dad creating the robot known as "Side Kick" to look after his son. Unfortunately, Richard didn't count on the robot developing emotions similar to those of a human, including jealousy. In a last ditch effort to bond with his father, Warren agreed to be part of an experiment that would lead to the creation of a group of individuals to guard the Mega Cores, and the Core from threats. Unfortunately, Sidekick who would later become known as Drop Kick sabotaged the experiment, killing Richard, and trapping Warren in a containment suit to survive. Over the years, when R.Z 6.0 came online Warren grew angry, believing he had been replaced by the Guardians in his father's eyes.

This led to him becoming the villain known as "Wild Card" but in the end, he was defeated by the Guardian Ish who sacrificed his Guardian abilities in order to save all of his friends, and the world. Locked up in a prison, Wild Card was later 'released' or rather broken out by the villainous alien known as Sudden Death who decided he'd use Warren and Drop Kick in order to steal all the Mega Cores of the planet. Unfortunately, when Sudden Death turned Warren back into Wild Card he didn't count on how treacherous Warren Zimmer was. Eventually Warren helped the Guardians defeat Sudden Death, but it was part of a plot to steal the energy of the core directly. It was thwarted, and the safe zone was completely obliterated.

Warren has been brought to the Omniverse before by Omni, and is not too happy about being brought here again. In fact he's more than a little peeved he somehow keeps ending up here in the OMnive

STARTING POWERS:

STARTING MOVES:

NFL-R (Ranged Prof,  300, Flavor.):

The NFL-R is a watch like device that shoots a 7-14 inch beam of energy out of it at an opponent when worn. This travels at about the speed of an arrow,  and takes  him about 15 seconds to charge up properly. The damage dealt by the move is pitiful at best,  at least with this version of the NFL-R. However, the NFL-R is required to have a variety of apps and techniques that he can do while wearing it. It also, if functional would create his armor over his body. Sadly that function has been lost when it was brought to the Omniverse.

Chaos Energy Charge Hands:  (600, Physical Strength, Ranged Prof.):

Chaos Energy Charge Hands is a technique that Warren possessed for a brief time when he had his original NFL-R that he had designed himself for the use of Ricky back in his own universe. Since he has managed to recreate his NFL-R, Warren has once more become capable of the technique. The technique involves seven seconds of focused concentration in which he cannot do anything else, which includes protecting himself or executing any other moves during the charging time of this. There are two ways that this move can be utilized when it is charged, both of which do a high amount of damage to anyone who is hit by the technique. The first is melee combat, which the charge lasts about ten seconds or until he hits an opponent, or the move is interrupted by him switching to another move. When he is performing the melee combat variant his hands will appear to be made of a purple energy whether or not he is wearing his suit.

The second form of this move is made for ranged combat. It shoots bronze beams at his opponents from the palms of his hands. The beams travel at the speed of an arrow. Both forms are mildly draining on his stamina and energy reserves. As this cannot be used with any other moves and requires both of his hands in order to use properly the move is somewhat dangerous for him to rely on. This move has a fifteen second cool down during which he cannot use any other energy beam based moves that he has at his disposal that involve blasting his opponents, or charging his hands.  This has a length of five feet by three feet.
