The Frozen Fields didn't get a whole lot of traffic. It was inherently uncomfortable and dangerous to travel in, so tourists tended to avoid the verse. The only people who traversed through the icy regions of the Frozen Fields were people who lived there, or had a purpose there. It wasn't exactly a prime spot for anyone to put down a hotel or a ski lodge. But there it was, and had been for years: The Arctica Inn and Lounge. A tall manor on top of one of the smaller mountains of the clustered center of the chilly verse, the Arctica had to be reached via a ski lift at the base of the mountain. The mountain was at the exterior of the Roof of the World, the verse's dangerous range of mountains, which made the inn a popular place for would-be daredevils. But the large manor was still visible far beyond it, which did attract the odd traveler or two.
It was historically run-down and ill-maintained due to the lack of staff and activity. But it did not look like that today. Today it just as beautiful as it was the day it had been summoned into the Omniverse.
At the tippy top of the slope sat the manor, sparkling and fresh. The sign above the big double doors read its name in sparkling dark blue letters: Arctica Inn and Lounge. Down the path leading from the ski lift to the manor itself was a single covered figure. It was cloaked in black, seemingly covering up from the cold climate. They had just finished planting a big sign in the snow next to the cleared passage that read 'Welcome to Arctica! GRAND RE-OPENING!' The figure nodded to itself in self-approval, rubbing their together to get the snow off of their gloves.
The moved their dataverse device on their wrist in front of them and clicked a button. "Time to get the word out," they said, "And get to work."

Quote:More information on how to join Whodunnit? is located right here. The story will start proper on Sunday, October 15th.
When you are good and ready to post your intro roleplay, just have your character arrive at the Arctica Inn. They will take a ski lift up to the grounds themselves, and once inside they will be greeted to a lobby and a bubbly blonde receptionist named Megan, who will check them in. Again, if you need help with an IC reason or anything in general, lemme know!
