Character name: Angeline 'Angel' Fisher

Character history: Angel was a normal girl in a big city, on the outside she was gorgeous and appealing to just about anyone. Her attitude has always been positive and her personality enjoyable. She was all but perfect!

Except not perfect.

People loved being around her, but they didn't know her. Not the true her. Not because she kept it a secret, but because no one asked her more than once about her hobbies, likes, and the mountain of fiction that consumes her free time.

Her relationship with her parents was rather pleasant, and while they didn't approve of her staying in all day and night to watch movies and anime, read manga and comics, or play a stack of games she earned the money for by being a great help, she did her chores.

If only to be left alone to enjoy the spoils.

One day she finally saved up enough to go to her local convention for everything otaku and nerd. Armed with cash, her home-made Dust costume and a back pack big enough for all the awesome things she was going to purchase, and her 3-day pass; she was on her way!!

..It was there, between the fun and finally being able to be herself, that she found herself drawn to a booth in particular. As soon as she came in close, she could feel herself getting dizzy, the sounds and sensations of her world getting blurry, eventually the sensations got to much for her and she fainted. When she woke up, all she could see was the smile of a man the was about to change her life, the surrounding area nothing but a black void....

Angel stands at a height of 5"1' and weighs in at about the 120 pound range. With this weight, the teenger is naturally slim; this and the angles blessed upon her body meant that she could easily become a model, of course she cause a more quiet life. Her long sky blue hair and messy fringe are her most distinguishing feature, though her pale complexion could also be seen as a trade mark of herself and her looks.

You can skip to after the intro takes place but you cannot alter it.

This is the true Introduction. Your character's history conflicts with this. Please adjust your History to fit the Introduction--- for example, your character might approach the booth, feel a falling sensation, and wind up in a black void where she is confronted by Omni.

Another thing of note. You said, "Armed with cash, her home-made Dust costume (...)" I have to ask, are you referring to the character on the Omniverse known as Dust? Because there is also this rule in the General FAQ:

Q42: I saw that "blatantly breaking the fourth wall" is against the rules. That sucks, can I still make jokes?

A: It's one thing to reference real-life brands ie "Samus picked up a bottle of shaybelline shampoo" or to make jokes that only the audience would understand: ie, Cell meets a man with long black hair and a beard and says "looks like a nerd, I bet he runs an online RPG" but if your character, for example knows they're in an RPG, reads other players' posts, or knows information they shouldn't, that's totally over the line. Your character might believe they're in a game, or even say it, but in-universe the Omniverse is a real place and your character is crazy. Therefore they should have a reason for why they believe that, and in-universe, they are wrong regardless of what they believe.

In-universe, your character may come from a world where certain fictional entities exist: for example, Harry Dresden comes from a universe where Star Wars is fictional. All that necessarily means is that there is a universe where Star Wars is fictional and based on a movie. Importantly, your character should never use details of these fictional worlds to know real facts about other Primes, for example saying "oh hey, Palpatine was in a movie, he has lightning attacks!". Your character will have had this knowledge erased by Omni, for balance sake. Unless you purchase Insight, in which case you may roleplay in those specific cases as having that memory returned.

If you are, in fact, referring to the Omniverse character Dust, please keep this in mind while writing.

About the World [spoiler] Angel comes for a world where characters we in the 'real world' would consider 'OCs' are characters in mainstream and not-so . main stream media (our 'cannon characters' either don't don't exist or are OCs). Other then that, and the very slight variation that 'The Omniverse RPG' as we know it does not exist (or if it does, she's been to busy reading books and watching anime to know of it), her world is basically a carbon copy of ours.[/spoiler]

If it's Angel wearing a cosplay of Dust would I just be able to have her appear in the fountain in different clothes?

I really don't understand what this means to be honest. Could you maybe put it more simply?

Angel comes from a mirror universe where OCs are cannon charaters with their own medias and our cannon charaters never existed.

Are you talking about a mirror Omniverse when you say that? 

If so, that isn't going to fly.

That is fine. However having default knowledge of the Omniverse or acknowledging that it's a game or having knowledge of other characters is still meta gaming and is still not allowed.

I understand this, and hence why the omniverse is mentioned nowhere in my app. Angel would only remember the charaters as how they were before the omniverse, and would have no infomation of the omniverse to begin with when first summoned by omni.

Im going to step in here for a second. It will be fine for you to use someone's OC and say that they are conon in this character's universe if the person that created the OC gives you permission.

Otherwise you wont be able to do so.

Since it appears that Dust is the only one, so far, who has given you permission, then dust's character is the only one you'll be able to use.

Would I be allow to make a 'patiion' thread for people confirm their OC's are okay to use in the intended manner before or after Angel gets approved?

And other then that is there any other issues that need fixing?

I haven't looked at this joining form yet, aside from the canon/ OC thing so I don't know if there's anything else to fix. Just got home from Uni and am extremely tired.

I'm going to say that you'll need to put up a petition thread before this character gets approved.

Yes, your history.

Omni is not a man in a booth. Everyone experiences arriving in the Omniverse the same way. They wake up in a black void, unaware of how they got there. You're going to have to change that.

In regards to your new history edit, I spoke with Omni, and we came to the conclusion to let you explain that as what she thinks happened.

In reality, Omni doesn't do squat, before you're in the Omniverse, apart from bring your character into the Omniverse. But you could easily explain that as mixed up memories and what not. So yeah.

You are approved, I'm sorry that this took so long but there were some formalities that needed to be handled before you could continue.

You should be able to set up your own roster, right? (There's a template in the joining forum if you need it)
