Mock Fight OOC- Jak and Marcus Wright vs Ebony and Dane

Now that's settled so here's the set up

Arena: 2 vs 2
500 word posts, no penalties if we go over.
Teammates: Random/ Already Picked- Dane and Ebony and Jak and Marcus

3 posts each, 2 for each part of the teams.

I'll fight you with Ebonywood Hellscythe (in the creative corner) because I want an excuse to use her moves (and I didn't get to fight ya in DA). But if you wanna fight Dane because of my DA trashtalk I'm game.

I'm more familiar with Jak, so I'd rather fight him, but if you think Marcus would give a better matchup for Ebony then choose him instead.

I propose you create the thread and do a smallish intro post (perhaps creating a reason for them to fight, maybe we're training inside the Dataverse, or maybe the stakes are higher) where you introduce your character and set the scene (but don't rp Ebony). I'll follow with my own intro post (rping Ebony only and not your character).

From there, standard fight rules (3 rounds, 800 words) but with perhaps more flexibility over the deadlines? Also, I don't mind you rping Ebony in the actual fight, I'd just rather write my own intro with her.

Lastly, we'll need someone to judge. So if anyone's reading this and wants to (especially if you've never judged before and want to try, but maybe not if you're pretty new), I guess you can suggest yourself.

(Other note: I think the OOC post might actually be better suited to the creative corner since this is non-canon and not OV related)

(swap Marcus and Jak in the order if you want, I just went off the order you wrote the names)

Before we fight, everyone gets an intro post as well (per player or character, it doesn't matter).

The location is a generic arena of sorts, you can describe it in your first post, I might add to it as needed.

Also, I don't mind if people want to comment about our fight in this thread, should they wish.

Lastly, we still need a judge. Any volunteers?

Jak used his T1 Dark Bomb on Dane to counter. Not telling what Marcus is going to do

Dark Bomb is a T1 super.

So Dust/Ash needs to do a coin flip I guess.

I don't think Marcus can counter Dane's super since it's aimed at Jak. He can hit Dane with one in his post, but if you want to counter it Jak has to use his super (which it appears you're doing based on your edit).

So Dane and Jak will hit each other (Dust/Ash needs to do a coin flip to determine if they go through full damage or are both weakened), and then (later at the end of one of Marcus's posts) Marcus can use his super attack on Dane.

If you're still using a T1 attack to counter, we need Ash to flip a coin to decide whether the attacks mostly cancel each other out or go through full strength.

Right, Ebony so I'm working on a post. But Marcus is switching targets. I should've mentioned this earlier.

Alright. I have a quick question:

Are Jak and/or Marcus still transformed? If so, that'll use another SP from Jak and Marcus since you're doing it for a full round rather than a post. I ask because you described Jak as a dark beast.

Also, Ebony is blocking Marcus's super move injection thing with her T1 defense.

Something to note: Technically Marcus should have to wait until his post to use a super move offensively. I think. I don't mind though.

Ok, Ebony is blocking Marcus then. Marcus isn't transformed anymore he's using his super. But I'll fix Jak's SP

I may be wrong, but I think Jak was level 4 when the fight started. Since you counted from 5 for his max SP, can Dane get an extra SP point (since he levelled up)?

Also, Eb will probs level up before this finishes, so can I do the same for her if/when that happens?

I'm only asking since this is a mock fight and we all want to test out our swanky new moves and transformations.
