Joining - Spider-Man
#1
Character name: Spider-Man, Peter Parker (If I could get the account name changed to Spider-man ((it was taken)), that’d be wonderful.)

Character source: MCU

Character history: Shan’t spoil the movie, but at some point during the Homecoming movie, Peter is pulled into the Omniverse. I’ll explain more when I create a roster thread or something.

Stats:
ATK: 2
DEF: 2
SPD: 3
TEC: 3

Starting Proficiencies:
Physical Strength – 1000 OM
Ranged Proficiency – 1000 OM
Debuff Proficiency
(3000 spent)

Starting Powers:
Foresight - 1500 OM
(1500 Spent)

Starting Moves:
Web Shooters - 300 OM
Spider-Man's web-shooters are twin devices worn on his wrists which can shoot thin strands of special "web fluid" at high pressure. The web fluid is a shear-thinning liquid (virtually solid until a shearing force is applied to it, rendering it fluid). On contact with air, the long-chain polymer knits and forms an extremely tough, flexible fiber with extraordinary adhesive properties. The webs travel at a speed roughly similar to a bullet, however, once contact is made, they merely adhere to whatever surface they touch, rather than causing blunt damage. Spider-Man can fire a web from each shooter at a pace of a web every half a second and to a maximum range of a hundred meters, however, their maximum accurate range is around 75 meters. After that point, it becomes a matter of luck. When enough webs are present, they begin to hinder the target’s movements. On average, the Web Shooters run out of fluid after 10 webs each, at which point Peter has to reload them which takes a second for each shooter. They are able to torn off/broken, it's just a matter of getting a hold of the devices and applying enough force. They're made of metal, so it's relatively difficult to snap them off.

One question; would I require the flight power to do the general web-swinging around from place to place or would that be considered fodder?

I confirm that I have read and agreed to the Rules of Conduct.

Where did you find us? Stumbled across the site on google, after looking around for forum rp. MMO rp sucks these days..

Your app is approved, but I got a final question before I green light your move -- Do you web shooters ever run out? And can they be torn off (and how hard is that?)

Post the following information below in a thread in the Roster forum. I will set up your Log as well in a few moments.

You have been approved to talk in the cbox as well.

Name: Spider-Man
Spent OM: 4800
Consumed OM: 0
Proficiencies (3000): Ranged Proficiency (1000), Physical Strength (1000), Debuff Proficiency (1000)
Powers (1500/8000): Foresight (1500)
Moves (300): Web Shooters
Super Moves (0):
Transformations (0):
Assists (0):

Unlocks (0):
Base stats:
ATK: 2

SPD: 3
TEC: 3

Please make a new thread in the Roster forum with the name of your character as the title and copy and paste the above into the first post. It is also highly recommended that you make more posts within your own roster that detail any extra information about your character that you wish to include for the benefit of others. Any future purchases can be made in your log, here.

Thank you for joining us here at the Omniverse, we hope you have a wonderful time!

Forgot to add that. On average, they run out after 10 webs each, at which point Peter has to reload them which takes a second for each shooter. All right, that's solid.

I added Web Shooters to your starting roster up above.

For Web Swinging/Slinging (whatever you wanna call it), you'd need a Move (you wouldn't need any extra powers, outside of Ranged Proficiency, though)

I'll change your name in a moment.

You don't need flight for web-swinging, no.

^Could you add the answers to Alex's question into the move description, please? And post here and I'll greenlight it.
Curious about me and the characters I play? See the 'Staff' page! See also the rosters for my characters Samus Aran or Enel if you'd like to see examples of well-formatted rosters. Hope you enjoy the Omniverse!

Thanks for the answers! And done.

Thanks, looks good. And good luck! I'd love to see a Spidey who sticks around. We have a Venom, too, so make friends Wink
