After closing her eyes for the last time, Xana immediately opened them again when she heard someone talking to her. It felt like she had died just a couple seconds ago, but the truth is that almost a day have passed since her death. Xana couldn't say anything, nor move or even think clearly at the presence of this strange being. The once late hero of Orbis found herself completely powerless, hearing the words of a person she had never met before.
After Omni finished his talk, Xana went to sleep again and, like before, woke up almost immediately. Her mind felt a tad confusing, but mist of her memories were still there, which was good. She still recalled her name, who her friends and enemies were and more importantly, who she was. However, the place her eyes meet was nowhere near familiar to the young girl.
Although the area beneath her was made of stone, not too far from where she was, the ground became a white nothingness and extended indefinitely. Xana first thought of it as snow, but as she stood back on her feet and crouched to touch the white groind just to confirm her thought, the dark-skinned girl noticed that it wasn't snow, but a perfectly white-colored ground. Standing up and turning around, revealed that behind of her was a familiar fountain. This fountain being the same that was found in a park she used to visit often with her friends, before all the war with Matrix began.
Taking a peek at the water fountain, Xana noticed that her current outfit was not her armor, but a completely different attire. This one being the clothes she normally wear before using her keychain to invoke her Gema Armor. The fact she lacked her godly suit didn't struck her as weird, however. I lost the keychain after dying,
after all... The memories of her last moments quickly flashed on her mind, having overcome the fogginess that kept her mind clouded. At least, Nina can't harm our land any longer, so I think it was worth the sacrifice.
Opening her eyes again, Xana turned away from the nostalgic fountain and began to walk away from it as well. Looking around, the dark-skinned girl noticed that she wasn't alone in that place. People, beasts, machines and beings whose appearance couldn't be fit inside the previous three groups, walked here and there, minding their own business. She felt and saw how some turned around to see her, but immediately turned away to continue with whatever plans they had for the day.
I need to ask someone about this place... she thought. Then, without holding anymore doubts, Xana walked towards the nearest being and called their attention. "Um... Excuse me, can you pay me attention for a few minutes? I kinda use some help right now..." Whether this was or not a good idea altogether, she didn't know, but it was either this or wandering aimlessly until she found herself somewhere, and, honestly, the first options seems a tad better to the schoolgirl.

It had taken a most ungodly amount of time to get back towards the center of the realm.
Of course, it wasn’t anyone’s fault but her own. Really, she hadn’t run into anyone much to slow her down or anything, she was just. Out of shape. For a hot second she resented herself for letting the humans leave without her, as they had at least brought a vehicle with which to travel in. She supposed she could do the same, but she had a love-hate relationship with going fast at the moment and she didn’t want to ruin it. Or kill herself going too fast. But the stark whiteness of this world still unnerved her. She wasn’t looking forward to spending too much time here.
Regardless, she had made it to the center after what she figured to be the better part of an afternoon. And needless to say, the middle aged lady was basically exhausted just from that. She had unceremoniously set her butt down in a very simple summoned chair just a bit away from the fountain for a while, having in addition created herself a pot of tea (it smelled like earl grey with lavender, perhaps) and a couple cups just to have some sort of refreshment. Well, that and just in case someone unsavory approached her, she could dump scalding hot liquid on them and then smash a plate over their head. Classy. Still, she just wanted to sit a while, so she had no real reason to do anything but make herself comfortable for the foreseeable future.
The girl approaching her barely caught her attention. Yuuka finished her sip from her teacup before even bothering to open her eyes and look at her. Casual clothes- human? Probably. Or, she supposed those were wholly irrelevant terms in this place. Would take some time getting used to, though. So she rethought it. Prime, logically, if she was here. New, obviously. Boring? Probably, too. Still, though she figured it would be easiest to just ignore her, she may as well make herself friendly if only for want of not being attacked on the spot.
”Hello. New here?” No shit, Yuuka. ”You got the spiel, didn’t you? Not sure I’d be any more helpful.” She crossed her legs, not being bothered to stand up and greet the stranger. Though, she did think at least to pour another cup of tea for her, in one of her spare “in case i need to smack an idiot” cups. Not that they said that; they were actually painted with cherry blossoms, just that Yuuka made a mental note that was their intended purpose. She held it out to the newcomer, though she still glanced down at her parasol, which was leaning against the side of the chair too. Just in case. ”But whatever you’d like. I’m bored, so join me if you want, and ask questions if that’s really what you want to use my time for.”
She smiled, pleasantly. Perhaps.

The person she decided to bother with her "newbie problems" was a woman. She looked young, slightly older than her actually. Her hair was green, short and also a bit curly. She was wearing quite the old fashioned dress, in her opinion, but it somehow suited the woman very well. She was sitting in a chair and was having some tea, probably, but it could be anything. Just a minute or so here and I'm already interrupting other people's relaxation...
Given how the woman didn't seem to have paid her any attention at all, Xana thought of leaving her alone with her tea. Right on time, the tea lady finally decided to check on the young schoolgirl.
Eeeek...! For an unknown reason, Xana's body flinched and straightened itself when the tea lady stared at her. Why I'm feeling u-uneasy... Better shrug off that for now. Despite this thought, the feeling of uneasiness continued. Xana figured that it was just embarrassment from having bothered an stranger.Yeah... T-That might be it, just plain o-ol' embarrassment.
When the lady finished checking on Xana, she told her a few things regarding, most probably, to her listening to the talk that Omni gave her. Her voice, instead of dampening the weird uneasiness she was having, only served to increase it ever so slightly. "You got it right, err..." Watching the woman crossing her legs distracted Xana for a bit, not in the good way though. "Tea lady?"
In a nice gesture, or at least Xana took it like that, the lady handed her a cup that she had previously filled with warm tea. Xana wouldn't doubt of accepting it, no one would refuse such an offering after all. Welp... I felt weird for a while, but this person seems nice enough. Xana held the cup, decorated with a cherry blossom pattern, and took a glance at the inside. She'd see her face reflected on the dark-colored liquid. The scent that it gave was nice and relaxing, to say the least. Xana couldn't wait to taste the tea, however, she wanted to at least introduce herself before taking a sip. "I... I mean, my name is Xana, Tanoshimu Xana- Xana is my name and Tanoshimu my last name, it's nice to meet you..."
Whether her response was, Xana decided to finally give the endearing drink a sip. Almost immediately after the tea went down her throat, the taste made the schoolgirl blush from how good it was. Despite a bit strong, it felt sweet and filled her body with such a relaxing sensation. Actually, this served to clear all the uneasiness she was feeling until now. "How nice... Did you made this tea?" Xana probably had a lot of other things to ask, but the tea distracted her enough to change the questions that she had in her mind.

She couldn't help it. Yuuka smiled when she saw the girl flinch a bit when she looked her way. It was almost... refreshing? Just to remember what it felt like to have that power over people again. To be feared. Maybe there was some use to interacting with humans after all. Not that she'd voice this- but she sure was thinking it. Being powerful was at least a goal to strive for, wasn't it?
Once the purple-haired girl took her tea, Yuuka went back to having a bit more of her own. For the most part she didn't seem all too bothered nor amused by the shaky introduction, simply taking it as it was. Though she was somewhat displeased by being called Tea Lady, she had to admit she hadn't given her name earlier, either. She set down her teacup on the saucer, letting it rest on her lap. "That's alright. Kazami Yuuka- but Yuuka is just fine." To punctuate it, she shot Xana another smile; half to see if she'd react again, and half to be legitimately pleasant. "A pleasure."
Yuuka kept her mild amusement front and center as the newcomer asked about the tea. "Technically I made the chair, too." Pausing a moment, she glanced down at the teapot she had set on the ground. "Not that it's a terribly impressive feat around these parts, since you can make just about anything- sure takes a while, though." It was strange for someone so slow to actually show a moment of impatience. But she wasn't getting any younger, and the days weren't and longer than before. Though if she was truly immortal...
She shifted her weight again as she shifted her train of thought back, to lean with her elbow on her knee, making sure not to dump her tea on her lap. The still bloody bandages on her forearms were more visible now, but she didn't really... care? The wounds underneath were already starting to heal anyway, since it had been a few hours now. "So. You wanted my not-so-sage advice? I'm here to give it, if you're still interested." She was a little more blunt now, in the name of just getting this over with so she could move on.
Not that she had anywhere in mind to go. To be honest, she figured she may just end up tailing along with this human. Well, depending- she wasn't entirely sure of how each of the other Verses were arranged, so it really didn't matter to her which she ended up in. Just somewhere different. Somewhere more interesting, less dreary.

Xana tried her best to not flinch again upon Yuuka smiling at her. The girl's attempts were futile though, as her body couldn't help but flinch instinctively at her smile. It was almost as if her body tried to tell her something with these reactions.
"Y-Yuuka... Got it." Thanks to the tea, her voice was a little bit less shaky, fortunately. At least I'll stop talking like a weirdo now, won't I?
When the Yuuka mentioned about having not only made the tea, but the chair and probably the teapot as well, Xana recalled the being that brought her here telling her something similar. "Ah, I guess you made them with..." Her phrasing cut short for a while, as Xana slipped her hand inside a pocket in her white shirt underneath. It was like if she somehow unconsciously knew that whatever she was searching for was in there. "This thing, probably? In a matter of seconds, Xana produced an small sphere from inside the aforementioned place.
Xana stared at the rainbow-glowing sphere for a while, all the while Yuuka probably stared at them or distracted herself with anything else. "Am I wrong, Yuu-" Her words, however, were cut short by Yuuka herself, who began to talk in a more bold way. It was kinda obvious she was getting either bored or impatient. She's right, I bothered her to ask things in the first place, after all. With her tea on one hand, and the ball on the other, Xana decided to put the sphere back into her pocket to held the tea with both hands. Then, she took a sip and prepared several questions; she thought it would be faster that way.
"What's this white place?" Xana asked, referring to the area where they stood at the moment. "Is there a reason for me to be here, aside from entertaining Omni?" This was one of her biggest doubts. "Is this some kind of heaven for people that died?" She probably knew the answer already, but asking for clarification never hurts. "Is there a way to get out of this white area?" With this one, she had finished her array of questions. Upon finishing, Xana took another stop of the delicious beverage to wet her mouth a bit after asking so much.

Yuuka kept her smile on her face as the girl repeated her name, but forced herself to shut up for a while as she took it upon herself to "behold the nature of Omnilium." Best let them learn from experience. In her own, humans were all hardheaded unless taught a lesson by their own doing. Not unlike children.
But finally, she was getting to asking questions like Yuuka had expected. The Youkai shifted her weight in her chair a bit, uncrossing and recrossing her legs again. "Called the Nexus, apparently." She gestured a bit to the fountain with her right arm. "Everyone shows up here when they're brought here- or dragged back from death, so I've heard." This was punctuated with a bit of an unhappy sigh. "And it's damn boring, at that. For someone all powerful, the guy in charge here could stand to hire a better decorator."
As for a reason, it took Yuuka a moment to think. Her smile briefly turned into a puzzled look as she tilted her head back and forth. A reason. The only reasons she cared about were the laws of nature- and such things likely didn't matter to anyone else, let alone this girl. So Yuuka simply shook her head. "Nope." It was blunt, a bit terse, really. But Yuuka wasn't feeling a creative nonanswer. "Not unless you make or find one for yourself. But that's not my problem." That smile rapidly returned. She didn't want to sound too grim, despite the circumstances.
"As far as death goes-" she glanced at the teapot on the ground. To be honest she was thinking again, but somewhere inside of herself she felt a bit- embarrassed? Potentially? It seemed like she was slightly upset at herself for being unsure. "I don't remember dying before I got here. So I'm going to say not as far as I know." For a brief moment she had considered just lying, as she felt that perhaps this answer would convey some sort of weakness. But at the very second before she spat it out she'd decided against it, so out came the truth.
The last question, at least, was more definitive in answers. "Of course there's more. I'd have gone crazy months ago if this were the only place to be." That was her lie today, she decided. That she hadn't proverbially "gone crazy" hundreds or thousands of years ago. Briefly she paused to take another sip of tea before continuing. "There are eight ways out of here, apparently. I can't speak for all of them, but that one," she paused to wave a finger in the direction of the gate to the Pale Moors, "is horribly dull, and full of very inconsiderate things."
She could have said specters, or zombies, or monsters, or anything better than... things. But that would have been strange coming from the mouth of a Youkai, wouldn't it?

"Nexus? I see..." Xana kept holding onto her cup, as she heard and nodded as Yuuka explained what she knew about the area. "So, you're literally saying that this place is filled with beings from everywhere?" The schoolgirl then looked around, watching all the different creatures that were walking around the Nexus. "I-Incredible..." Naturally, at the thought of them being otherworldly things, Xana couldn't help but have a look of amazement in her face. She did heard the last bit, or probably didn't, not that it was such a very important info anyway.
However, Xana did pop from her bubble just in time to hear the rest of Yuuka's answers. Apparently, the second question received a negative response. Yuuka did mention that if she wanted a goal, the schoolgirl would have to make it herself somehow. So, I'm just here to make my own fate, huh? Xana thought, omitting the bit about also being there to entertain some bored god. Still, being able to led her own way was something that was really getting herself pumped. This is kinda exciting, honestly. Afterwards, she took another sip of teaand continued hearing the words of that woman.
As far as death goes. Death. If just for a second, Xana was able to experience how being dead felt like and, honestly, it felt nothing like this. Hearing the uncertainty of the young woman about the reality of this place filled her mind with... Relief? "Well, as long as I don't return to the coldness of death, I think I don't mind what this place is." Spoke Xana. She was about to take another sip of tea, but first decided to look on her face reflected on the liquid. How long have had passed since I last saw this face of mine...? Memories of all the battles she had to endure until her ultimate victory flashed on her mind, one after another. Finally, she took the sip and turned her gaze back to Yuuka.
The final answer finally came. "So, there's a way out in all directions?" Asked the girl to no one in particular, as it was more of a self-answering question. Taking the last sip of the delicious drink, Xana then left the cup near to the teacup on the ground and faced Yuuka for, probably, the last time. "Full of inconsiderate things you say?" Began the schoolgirl, turning around towards the direction that the woman posted. Xana couldn't see more than a faint light glowing in the far distance. "Sounds like trouble." She admitted. However, just at that moment, the decision was made.
"Well, thanks for the info and the tea, Miss Yuuka." Xana turned around again, facing the aforementioned for a last time (for real this time), and bowed slightly. "I promise that if ever see again, I'll pay you back somehow." With that, the schoolgirl turned back towards the faint light and began to walk towards it.
Xana didn't know how long it would take to take to reach there by foot though, and due how far it was, it was likely to be more than a few minutes. Oh right, I have this thing! She thought, bringing the glowing sphere of Omnilium once again. I don't know why, but I think I've a hunch about how this ball works... Weird. Stopping in place, Xana closed her eyes and envisioned the object she wanted to make. She'd feel energy building up ever so slightly and a slow pace at that. This might take a while though.

"Yup." Yuuka's reply was simple, though not untrue. She really wasn't sure what to say, since it was just plain true or false. If she hadn't realized there were all sorts of people here yet, oh boy. She had a lot in store for her when she decided to leave. Yuuka didn't let her curiosity show on her face too much.
How she continued on was a bit strange, though. Yuuka didn't care at all about the fate of this person she'd only barely met, but she was intrigued by her decision. Really, complaining so much about how painful and awful death was, and then turning to exactly the direction Yuuka had pointed out was a bad idea? Sometimes the Youkai really did wonder how they lived past infancy. Then again, not to say she was allergic to a challenge herself, but at least she wasn't quite as mortal.
She stood from her chair, gathering the teapot and cups to set them on the seat. "I'll hold you to that." The reply was seemingly half-paying attention, and half not, as Yuuka turned her focus to extracting some of her spent omnilium from the chair and tea. Better to not leave a mess, less hassle that way. Each part, slowly but all at once, collapsed under its own weight and eventually disappeared. She would have to get used to that, too.
Though the other Prime had wandered off a bit, she was still within hearing distance. A small pout found itself on Yuuka's face. She wasn't one for lectures. She knew that. But still, she felt like it would be stupid not to say something. So she turned towards the purple-haired girl, raising her voice just a bit. "You humans! I give you perfectly good advice and you think yourselves ready to ignore it." Her shoulders pulled themselves into a shrug. "Whatever. Knock yourself dead. Just don't come to me when I was right to steer you away."
This time her turn on her heel was more sharp, a bit huffy. Though she still wasn't sure where she was going, she crossed out the idea of following the human if she was just going to be heading to the place she had just arrived from. So she picked a direction mostly at random (aside from "the general other way"), and started walking. Slowly. Yuuka wasn't very quick, and likely wouldn't get to the door any time soon- it would most certainly take her hours.
Still, while she had just insulted the human, she waved as she walked away, though not bothering to look over her shoulder.

As she continued focusing, Xana felt that she was about to summon the item she needed. However, the schoolgirl interrupted the ritual immediately when she heard Yuuka's seemingly angry voice- or maybe concerned? W-What... Is she and for me going there? Xana turned around quickly to see where the green-haired woman was. Yuuka had already begun walking her way towards a different direction, probably very mad with her.
"I'm sorry, but I need to see if there's people that needs my help over there!" Answered Xana. Hopefully, Yuuka would understand her, so the next time they meet,
she won't lecture her for not following her advise. Also, why did she call me "human"? Aren't humans those that live in planet Earth? She gathered that maybe, the tea lady came from the Earth and this mistook her for one of her race.
Finally, Xana turned again towards the distant light and witnessed it faint glow for a while. Then, she began focusing again to summon an object that would help her to reach her destination a bit faster. "Let's begin, I can't afford to use more time." Said Xana to no one in particular. She then closed her eyes and began visualizing the object in question: A pair of shoes. Yeah, those were pretty popular back in Orbis... Since I'm not allowed to drive vehicles yet, they should suffice for a replacement.
When she opened her eyes, Xana saw how a bright light surrounded her foot until it became something akin to a cocoon. It felt funny for a while, but then the light faded and when she saw her shoes, they had been upgraded into the hover kind she visualized before. "Perfect! Now I'd be able to reach there more faster." Ready to continue her journey, Xana did a short jump and tapped the shoes' sides once to turn them on. When she landed, the schoolgirl was now floating a about a feet over the ground.
Not having anything else to do in the white area that was the Nexus, Xana began dashing her way towards the faraway gate. It might take her a while, but once she arrived, she just kept dashing into the portal. Worry not people, the GA Girl, Xana, is on her way...!
