Quick and Easy Questions (please read the OP)
Can the warp whistle be used for a group?

@Jak: No.
Quote:Q41: Can I use a single banishment circle to banish a fused character? How about a warp whistle to teleport myself and my fused friends together?
A: No to both. You gotta buy multiple. If you've defeated a fused character, then you could forcibly defuse them to banish one 'part', if you like.
Which implies you couldn't if they were unfused either. It's hard to check the main rules on mobile, but I'd assume the item description also says "one person".
I've reread the Death & Banishment page from the rules a few times, but am having some difficulty understanding it.

So, I died 8 days ago during the Coliseum fight in DA.  I made a few posts in the Astralverse to help pass the time. Am I alive and able to go back to the regular stuff I do in Corsucant, or is there something else I have to do first or more time I have to wait out? With the Westside stories really taking off, I'm eager to get in another personal storyline before I join up with some of the big upcoming threads.

All Primes reappear at the Nexus. So you'll just have to make a post in the Nexus and then head back to Coruscant. It can be done within one post.

With items, do I put the Consumed OM total as part of the Spent OM total? ie. is it

Total of 3000 OM spent;

Spent OM: 2000
Consumed OM: 1000

or

Spent OM: 3000
Consumed OM: 1000

Spent OM is going to be higher than consumed OM.

Your total spent OM is how much you've spent on anything in general. The consumed OM covers item use on expendable things. Like a banishing circle.

EDIT: So the bottom one is correct.

So I was looking over the changes made for NPC primes... I'm not quite sure, but... do these changes mean that you can play characters from series you don't have now? It looks like it but idk if I read it right.

During audits today, the staff have been asking that it be included as part of your spent OM, so the second example. =) -Trixie beat me to it >___>

It would come down to who you're trying to summon as an NPC. The approval process is still required. However yes, you can pick certain NPC's from other canon's, but they're going to cost you points and require approval. If we don't allow it/or you don't have the points then it won't work. Example being A-Listers. Anything considered an A-List character would most likely not be allowed as an NPC. IE: Vegeta or Mario.

No, they count as Unlocks.

Do we need to update our rosters with Secondaries we have control over?

That wasn't mentioned in a recent profile/roster audit of mine but I feel perhaps it's necessary? I want to be sure however.
Most people DO do that, but isn't something that we have FORCED/REQUIRED people to do.
I'll do it since my roster's quite big (four original characters, plus Panda and Grizz).
Can you post flash backs/logs of various topics in a Diary thing in the Dataverse?

Do you mean like copy an entire post into a diary type entry? No.

You would have to rewrite the memory into a new post.

From the ground up? That kinda ruins the point of him critiquing his past, but okay.

Clarify for me. What are you trying to do? If you're looking to do a post about him reflecting on his past, that's fine. You just can't take a post you've posted before and cut and paste it into the Dataverse/Astral Verse and call it a reflection to get OM for it again.

Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned
@Veritas: You can. At least, there's no rule against it.

Alternatively, as stated in the FAQ, as long as the thread is marked as a flashback, you can post it in the appropriate verse or in the astral verse if it's pre OV.
Quote:Q35: I want to do an extended flashback. Is this allowed and if so, where do I post it?
A: You may do extended flashbacks either in your character's current location, the Astral Verse, or in the relevant verse forum. If an entire topic takes place in the past, it must be CLEARLY MARKED as a flashback in the topic title. This prevents people from getting misled if they are pursuing your character IC. You may write about past stories from your character's own universe if you so desire in the Astral Verse.

Just note that, if you're writing a diary, make sure you don't copy paste much from an actual post already in the OV. Or, if you do, quote it out, unless it's a short line of dialogue. So, if you make a diary, you'll need to be rewriting the post completely and generally just reflecting on it, rather copy pasting parts of the event.
You can copy other posts via using the "quote" bbcode, which will keep you from doubling down on OM gains via copy-paste shenanigans. That's less of a diary and more of a vlog though. A diary WOULD, by its very nature, require that you rewrite the things that occured during your day in your own words.
